I love how the title says for a healthy gut rather than skinny body or something like that. It seems like you focus more on health rather than vanity reasons and I find that refreshing 😊
I LOVE THE FORMAT OF YOUR VIDEOS. PLEASE NEVER CHANGE. I love how you show every single step and you’re not recording yourself doing it and talking because the people just want recipes half the time!!!! It’s awesome to listen UA-camrs talk but not alllll the time! A true food channel you have!!!!
I've been following your videos for quite a while now and you inspire me SO MUCH! I'm slowly transitioning to a vegan diet but since I have a background with a restrictive eating disorder I'm only there like 90%. However, love your cookbook, love your videos - btw, you got me into brussel sprouts, hated them before. The opening of this new vid is next level editing. Keep it up! Love from Germany
For me taking it easy on cruciferous veggies like cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage has helped with my bloating and gut issues.I didn't stop eating them but I mostly started having them chopped down or fermented like cauliflower rice or fermented red cabbage and it helped tremendous for digesting the food better. Eating broccoli raw in a salad would kill my stomach. I sometimes instead opp for raw juiced carrots diluted with extra water or shredded carrots cooked in oatmeal and things like sweet potato which my gut seems to like. A good tip for beans since they seem to make everyone gassy is to get them dry, soak and putting them in stews and soups to break down all the gas properties. I then like to add some of the beans from the soup to my salad bowls. Combining it with greens helps me digest it easier too. Chick peas (since i love having them raw from a can in a salad or homemade hummus) can be a little bit challenging. To help I like to add in a generous amount of lemon/lime, cumin, or herbs like cilantro(or favorite herb) to ease some bloating.
I love your videos! their so visually pleasing, but I love all the details you give as well. I feel like I'm learning so much when you go into the science behind each food item.
I have a super sensitive stomach so this video is really helpful for me to try out some new products for my gut health 😊❤️ just wondering Caitlin, what would your main tips be for someone who is trying to make youtube their job? That is my main goal for this year!
My stomach has been transformed since being on the low fodmap diet. Talk to your doctor or dietician about it. Just warning that onions and garlic are HUGE issues with people with very bad stomach issues, ibs, and just people in general. So maybe cut out those for a bit and see if your stomach is any different. Hope it gets sorted xx
I wish you can give me some tips of what camera and editing tools are you using for recording your UA-cam channel videos along with how can I make my Chanel more colourful and attractive.
Man jqtujjj ,rmjbmffmmfffmffmk jmmddddddddddddqddddddddqddqddddqqdddqdddqdqqdqdqdqddqdqdqddqdqdqdqqqdqddqqqqdqdddqddddddqddqddddddqddddddddddqDDDYYYYYYDDDDDDDDDDDa Oh my goodness my kitten sat on the computer and managed to "type" all that.... it was too funny not to post 😂 beautiful video as always
yasss this video literally came at the BEST time for me. I've been having some digestion issues and have been looking around for ideas. Thank you so much💕
I loved this video! You're amazing! and idk but for me it was hilarious that you called avocado "bae" and then you smashed it 🙊😂 Greetings from Mexico!
Omg omg omg Caitlin shoemaker I freaking love you!!!! I love videos...you are the most impactful vegan on UA-cam for my vegan journey. You should make a trip out to Austin, TX. You’d love it!!!
Everything looks so good! I love drinking hot tea and apple cider vinegar in water. The cauliflower and mango smoothie and tempeh salad look really nice!
I really appreciate your knowledge and that you explain every time I watch your videos I am excited for new things to know and your recipes are amazing I love watching your videos
I love these videos and will definitely be trying these recipes! Would you ever consider making a tofu recipe video with a bunch of different types of tofu/ways to prepare them (and also best brands/types?)
Charlotte Rempala if you live by yourself don’t have any extra food around. Try to plan your meals so when you want a snack you know what your next meal is and you can look forward to it. Make sure you are eating enough during your meals too. Alternatively, you can allow snacks, but only whole fruits & veggies.
I had that problem before too and I found planning out my snacks each week helped. Like I would buy two kinds of fruit each week for my snacks and some nuts or a few granola bars to have on hand. I also upped my water intake because I found a lot of the time I was actually just really thirsty. Hope that helps!
Ik this is an old comment, but never go to the supermarket when you're hungry because the best way to stop snacking is to not buy them in the first place. But get some alternatives that will still satisfy cravings, like i just have a sip of chocolate oatly when i crave chocolate, and i have a giant bag of frozen mango (it honestly tastes like dessert) for when i want something really sweet.
I love your videos! I would love to see you make a vegan ramen or pho recipe! With some vegan dumplings or something? I think that would be interesting. Keep up the good work!
I wanna be your roommate so you can cook for me all the time. you make it look so easy to just "throw together" these amazing delicious balanced and also beautiful meals
Will forever love your channel when I first became vegan I would religiously watch your channel❤️ now so busy wih studies but still love your channel so much girl!’ xoxox
Hi Caitlin! I thanks for this video, which I find informative, creative, and nice to watch. I thought the information about the health benefits of the different foods you ate was super interesting! Could you perhaps give us a few links of sources you got that information from?
It’s actually amazing once you start to notice how you feel after what you eat. I would love to make kimchi!! Just scared lol. Think I’ll check it out.
Turmeric latte and granola for dessert 😂 I love your channel and videos but I do not relate to that portion. Good for you, girl! I’m more of an Oreo gal.
I could eat fries everyday too...lol! I eat everything you made but, Tempeh and Kimchi, I've been wanting to try it. My tummy gets sensitive at times. I'm going to try it. Thx👍
i just made my own kimchi from Cheap Lazy Vegan, and can't wait to see how it turned out. i've never tried kimchi before and im so excited to eat it! 😆
@BlueJane, I have chronic stomach problems and feel really sick a lot of the time. I have tried probiotic pills in the past with no luck. The greens powder somehow made 75% of my stomach problems go away. I've tried other cheaper brands but Amazing Grass is the best!
I love apple cider vinegar, I drink it with my tea, I use it to clean. Great recipes as always, I love potatoes and sweet potatoes for lunch with Salad.
To be honest I unsubscribed from you because I needed to cut down on how many videos I was watching a day. But I would still watch sometimes because they would be in my recommended list and they have really improving. I just re-subscribed.
I'm not sure what a good gut technically means but I've always had a good digestive system; no stomachaches, no issues going to the bathroom, and I eat sooo unhealthy. But lately I've been eating more plant based and omg now I'm having so many stomach issues. I feel like this shouldn't make sense??
you should check out Dr. Rhonda Patricks podcast at found my fitness, she is all about awesome gut health while also breaking down all the hard science behind things. Also, so glad you linked that kimchi DIY because I have been wanting to make my own for a while (just on a small scale), already got the hot pepper flakes and everything ;)
Awesome vídeo! :) Your guts must be so used to probiotics by now, you eat a lot of probiotic fueled foods :O if I drink too much kombucha in a day, the next one is... Well. :p better than keeping it tho! Hehe
I love how the title says for a healthy gut rather than skinny body or something like that. It seems like you focus more on health rather than vanity reasons and I find that refreshing 😊
Your editing skills have been improving so much lately. The creativeness of this video is so impressive
Yay for homemade kimchi! Thanks so much for the shoutout

Love all the facts about how good the food is for you
How could you improve your gut with these products when you already have literally the healthiest gut of anyone lol
I really liked the style of this video! Nicely done!

Ritza Francois Chickpeas are though yeah and cabbage and unripe spelt grains (is that the word? Haha) also give me a hard time.
me tooooooooo! I just had chickpeas and vegs with couscous which I cooked for over 2 hours and I'm dyyyyyyinnn now 😱😱😱😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤒
Try cooking with Asafoteida - herb used in Indian cooking to neutralise whatever makes beans blowey, I think.
so idk what’s happened but I want tofu in every meal. like I just want tofu I’ve been craving it so badly so I’m glad you use it so often!
Jana Katherine happened to me too. and 2 years ago i hated it 😂
I love your videos! their so visually pleasing, but I love all the details you give as well. I feel like I'm learning so much when you go into the science behind each food item.

How so? Could you elaborate?
