Lol I'm sure this wouldn't work with most judges, in fact many would feel it's an attempt to manipulate them. But Judge Caprio is not most judges. He has a kind heart which is how the kids got their parents out of paying
that could be somewhat true but that's a little disrespectul towards Judge Caprio imo because that would let him appear naive and not so self aware. So taking into consideration of the difficulty of becoming a judge plus he has been a judge since 1985 so over 30 years. That is a huge amount of experience so he "kinda seen it all" and has a good human reading ability. That means that he would come to the same verdict with or without children is not so unlikely
Kudos to the public defender for actually getting a good deal for her disrespectful client. Everybody there except the defendent showed good restraint.
When I see the videos of this judge, an emotional state invades me because I see more than a good man, a very good human being, it must be a privilege to work with him and to be able to learn more about compassion, God bless Mr. Frank Caprio -
Not only was Raymond absolutely adorable in the first clip, but he's also really smart just like Judge Caprio said. He remembers his mother's first name and he's only 3 years old in this video.
There is a saying in China: "The law is no more important than human being itself.(法律不外乎人情)", I think the judge's behavior is the best interpretation of it.

Much better than Joe Biden.
Grandpa???
He took the phone and went “DOWN WITH THE PHONE”
That was a so Important move by him, because it showed the kid that he don't like it.

This judge is the best... he was a lot nicer in the second session than I would have been though. Some people are real tools.
The second guy is so rude and ill-mannered!! YUCK! He is way too old for that.
Some people dont grow up 🙄
The judge really did not like the kid bringing the phone up with him, and the hand-cuffed guy was the pure embodiment of 'contempt of court'.
