We rescued an old horse, once. He was 32 years old when we got him. My husband, however, knew the original owner and watched the horse grow up from a baby. So, it was bitter sweet when we acquired him because the new owner had neglected him terribly and he was skin and bones and his pee looked like root beer (very dark). We cared for him and gave him what he needed and he lived almost 2 years more, thanks to us. We took him to the beach and for long walks around the neighborhood. I like to think we gave him some of his best years in his life. I'm very happy we did what we did! Kudos to the Moons for doing what they do. It's not easy...
I'm 73 years old. When I was in elementary school, in the US, in the 50's, the school library still had children's books that were published in the early 1900's. There was a certain style of illustration in many of those old books that was warm and cozy and I loved the books and their illustrations so much. But, sadly, they aren't in school libraries anymore. Imagine my surprise when I looked at Michael's drawings - especially the one showing the organ and the one showing Pip in the church. They have that same cozy, old-fashioned feel to them. They are wonderful. What a win-win situation for everyone - or even win-win-win. Sometimes .... life is good.🙂
I'm just seeing this video, and comments. Michael did the illustrations? Seriously?! Is there anything he can't do? He's musical, organ repairer, interior designer, master wallpaperer, painter, and every other thing needed at the convent & chateau. And now I find out he's an artist too. Bloomin hec!
We're likea very huge family. Some are watching in the morning, wearing their pajamas. Others in the afternoon, just in from work, or still at the end of day. All of us holding or breath, just waiting for the finish of the rebuild. WE CAN NOT WAIT.
I’m here for this everyday. Come home from work and this is my wind down. I love watching as the Convent comes back to life. I love the thought of us viewers being family.
Yep! Checking in from Texas, USA here. I usually watch first thing when I get home in the afternoons from work, but am a day behind right now due to other obligations... It kind of makes my night suck when I don't get to watch what's new across the pond.
Love how Nick uses his intuitive gift to work with an old cathedral's organ in the same way he works with his legendary horses. It's really fun to watch.
"kick on"...man, i laughed so much. it's SUCH a horsey saying. I used to ride track thoroughbreds for a shortish time for an income, but rode on n off for about 30 yrs so this perfect mix of afficianados appeals so much. being a blues freak is a bonus too. one of the top 3 utube channels for me...yay.
I've followed Michael since he first started his channel, over time I've enjoyed following the other related channels, but watching the organ restoration is a joy. Each and everyone of you involved, including Alex, could give the mainstream TV companies a run for their money Michael, Nick and Billy, the way you naturally talk to camera is brilliant.
Today was just a fantastic video. The talent that is the Petherick Team is just brilliant, Billy, Michael, Nick, Yanis, Alex, Mick, and let's not forget Ernest on his perfect organ playing. The videos Alex puts together are really terrific.
I bought my 2 prints! I'm so happy... I can't wait to receive them. They are so wonderful. Michael you are a very talented artist. I really love your work. Nick you are wonderful and do such an amazing job... Billy is awesome and has such vision... and Yannis such a hard worker... and can't forget Papa Petherick.... hard worker for sure. Alex you are amazing at recording and editing the video's! Thank you all for letting us join you like you do.
I am mesmerized by this organ rebuild/restoration. It is amazingly complex, one wonders how humans ever thought this out to begin with. Fascinating! Like everyone here I can hardly wait to hear it played. TFS
Yannis is such a good man. He works his but off. Nick, with all of his knowledge and is such a humanitarian, is great as well. Everyone working on this project Alex, Michael, Billy and all those behind the scenes do such a wonderful job. Thank you
Michael, when you were young and pestering the churches to let you come in and play the organ, could you imagine in your wildest dreams that you would one day have one to play and actually take it apart, move it and put it all together again? And with such love and care!
The respect you are giving to the organ in its restoration, and the convent in bringing it back to to a useable future is heartening to see, you all work well together, each fulfilling a role and do so with respect and humour, a great example of positive change.
I do believe the Phantom of the Opera made an appearance today. I loved the video so much! Everyone is doing such amazing work and I am so happy to have been allowed to be a part of the progress. Thank you, with love to all! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Every time I watch this I am thinking there couldn't be a better location - the most perfect fit into this chapel - and a dream team to build it. There has to be some sort of Divine intervention here (and I am not religious..) The spin off is that we all now know Nick Moon; what an extraordinary man he is and now are inextricably linked to his channel and his amazing work with retired horses. Just shows the power of giving and how what goes around comes around. Thankyou all of you.
Totally agree with your comment. I have had the feeling that there has been another driving force behind this restoration of the convent since Billy and Gwen first bought it. The previous owner could have been "marking time" until Billy and Gwen were ready. Everything for a reason. 🙏
There are unseen hands at work here, angels on high giving Nick and Michael unbelievable inspiration, it is awesome to be privy to this majestic work , once in a lifetime viewing pleasure, never want to miss a minute. Thank you Billy, Michael, Nick and wonderful team.
I am 81 years old and sang in choir while in school. Our large Gothic style church had a very large organ and we were intrigued by it. When we had a bit of downtime, we liked to explore around the organ, and gaze up at huge pipes. We also found there was a large wooden lever for pumping air into the organ if there was an electrical outage. When Sister Anthony belted out a loud musical selection, we felt the choir loft tremble. It gives me goosebumps even now. The keyboard on our organ was much more extensive that yours that'❤s being rebuilt. We were intrigued by the plethora of knobs sister manipulated as she played, each marked with words and symbols. We wondered how she knew just what knobs to use. I also do believe our organ was even larger than yours. It would be lovely if you are able to play the organ at Christmas. That is my very best memory of our Iowa Gothic organ, the great swell and rumblings of a massively beautiful song at Christmas!! That was the best! Loving your channel and the work you are doing. I have already ordered a print. Michael, you are so talented. I love Pip. Not to forget all the other people working and filming an historic restoration. Crack on' mates!
I can't wait until Christmas Eve, i want to hear that organ loud and clear. It will make the nun's sing in heaven like never before. You are all doing a wonderful job. Thank you all.
The Moons channel is Magical The restoration of this Organ is Amazingly Brilliant You all are doing a fantastic job 🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍Alex your filming is Amazing thank you one & all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🎅🎄⛄ Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
The Norwich Organ which you are lovingly and masterfully restoring joins the fascinating history and heritage of Norwich. In the 14th century lived Dame Julian of Norwich, an anchoress who wrote REVELATIONS OF DIVINE LOVE which included 15 visions of Jesus from May of 1373. After one vision Julian asked Jesus what should she as an enclosed anchoress do in light of the violence, suffering caused by the Black Death and civil unrest. Jesus answered saying, Julian, ALL SHALL BE WELL, AND ALL SHALL BE WELL, AND ALL MANNER OF THING SHALL BE WELL. May these words to Dame Julian of Norwich be an encouragement for all restoring the Norwich organ and the convent.
If I had a complaint I’d have to say that the videos are not long enough!!! I know they take a lot of effort to edit but it’s over before my coffee is drunk!! I will just have to put them on repeat! 🎉congratulations on all the efforts of everyone involved in this project. We are all learning from you (even though I don’t think most of us will ever have to install an organ any time soon!). Michael, your many artistic talents are amazing, keep up the great work, I admire you so much. Nick, you and your family are so very special for the wonderful world you have created for the Legend’s. Billy, your entrepreneurial skills are to be admired, you manage to collect the right’ people for the job, plus your own work ethic is great to watch. A great example for others and your children as they grow up. Crack on! Watching from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
When Billy first announced that Nick & Michael would be reconstructing & repairing the old organ I thought that they would lack the necessary skills - well how wrong was I! The work that Nick and Michael have done has been incredible, especially given that they have never done this before - truly very gifted individuals
I am trying to imagine the wonder and amazement in the hearts of the townspeople as they hear the bells chime, see the soft glow of lights, and then feel the presence of Christmas as the organ begins it’s first heavenly melody in decades. It will be a truly spiritual feeling🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have fully enjoy watching this rebuild and Alex has done a fantastic job putting these videos together. It just draws you in. Great job. You are all so talated
Unbelievable..if I would have to do the reassembling of this Organ it would have probably turned out as a washing machine or tumble dryer…you Guys really have blessed hands for everything you do…❤
I believe the term for a note playing when the key is not being pressed is a "cipher." All pipe organs get them from time to time, even newer ones. So many little pieces and parts to these instruments that all have to be working properly for it to play flawlessly! I'm loving how so many new people are coming to appreciate the pipe organ as an instrument through watching these videos and seeing what goes into building them! As always, great work with the care you all take and with the way you explain all the things you're doing!
I love organ music and have been to one or two recitals, I had no idea that there were so many pipes inside. You're all doing a marvelous job on the restoration, well done and keep up the good work.
I'm just amazed by how many pieces there are in that organ. And the fact that you can put it back together, probably in a lot better shape than before, is crazy! And watching Michael play it when there are still lots of pipes still on the floor and not even in the thing yet, is crazy. wow. Watching all of you work together, not only on this project, but all the projects is heart warming. I can tell how much each of you care for each other and that is the amazing thing here, With out that, most of this would never happen. Michael, I am looking forward to your book.
I just have to tell you that l now have a new love of organs!!! After watching this series l have wondered who in the heck came up with this marvel of an invention. I’ll be googling that!! Michael you got my sons attention when you played the piece from Interstellar. Can’t thank you all enough for saving this organ, and including us in this journey.
I have been glued to the reconstruction of the organ. I just cannot wait to hear it play in all its glory. You are all so clever, talented and have all been so patient with such a delicate task. It has just been awesome to watch. Each and every Pethericks instalment has just been amazing and its kept my interest going right from the beginning. 😃😃😃. Thankyou. I also subscribe to ryans channels and the moons. They are all equally Fantastic.xx
I am completely in awe and overwhelming happy to be part of this amazing reconstruction of this most Holy convent and chapel. I am equally proud of Billy, Gwendolyn, Michael, Nick, Yannis, Mick, and all the others that have put time, sweat and tears along the way to bring us to this day. I have just ordered the organ in the chapel with a hidden Pip. I am so looking forward to being one of the lucky ones to own one of Michael’s pieces of art. Well done today to you all. May I also add that Yanis is so good with Billy’s young sons. Love to all. ❤❤❤❤❤
I have such an appreciation of organs now! Our Cathedral’s organ was restored a few years ago. It sits up in the balcony and no one can go up there unless a part of the choir.. so I really don’t even know what it looks like😮.. I do know it is bigger than this one and can only imagine how hard it was to put those pipes all back in
Watching the repairs on the organ make me think back to when it was first built. You use some tools they may not have had 200+ years ago. Recreating parts is no small task. I admire that you have the knowledge and skills needed to do it.
Nick and Mike work well together, love the banter it keeps morale up for sure. They have made this project of assembling all the organ together again fun, and so much more. Such a great team all of you are, including Simon who is back home for a while. Thank you all. M.
It's amazing what you have learned and your talents are impressive. Knowing how to repair the damaged pieces and using the Nanometer and apps like "find the note". has been educational. I'm enjoying the process, can I say I'm addicted. CRACK ON 👍✌🤟
Nice close ups of all the repairs etc. Yay well done Michael on the repair that you thought you couldnt do. She is nearly singing well done all. Crack on😘
More fun in the swell box, can't wait. Fantastic video today, I especially thought it appropriate that Michael was able to tie up the lead pipes with a bandage, in a convent that had a hospital attached to it. Tools of the trade, I suppose. Alex, your filming is superb and your choice of music today was outstanding. Just loving all of it. 😍
What a wonderful journey. Well done. It is a joy to see the dedication and care shown by all those involved in the restoration of the organ and the convent.
Always a delight to watch these videos but today's was especially delightful. Starting with the birds flying in slow-motion over the convent accompanied by mysterious music, watching the usual good cheer of the team working their magic, seeing everyone playing the keyboard a little as the work goes along, including the small fry, Billy's excited smile, Michael laughing and the family watching, all the problem solving happening. That organ has never been so loved. She is looking beautiful and sounding it too, more every day. I am truly in awe of your ability to make this very complicated project happen...
This is such a beautiful experience in friendship, talent and fervor not available elsewhere on mainstream TV . Kudos to all of you and especially to the artful magician Alex as I think he's called, for the editing and masterly soundtrack .Astounding group of fellas, you ARE, which includes Gwendolyn for sure!😍🤩😘
I'm continually impressed with the care and devotion you have for installing the organ. You are all artists with the skills you bring each day. Much respect for what you are doing.
Maybe you could put out a soundtrack of music when the organ is up and running? It would be another fundraiser idea, that could help specifically towards the chapel repairs!
Nick looks like a giant! How tall is he? And Yannis looks tiny when next to him! All of this organ building is so complex. I hope that you may surprise all of us with completion by Christmas! Do you ever marvel at the minds who developed these instruments? I know that I am marveling at your reconstruction.
Wow wow wow. Such progress with the organ. I chose 2 prints & ordered them yesterday -- 1 for me, 1 for my husband, but of course they will be displayed together. As soon as they arrive, I shall find a sale on picture framing. I have 3 very special pictures, from years ago, that I had professionally matted & framed. Much of the cost was for "museum quality" glass. No glare & also protects the print or foto from damage from light. None have exposure to direct sunlight, but are in our home. And many, many sunny days where we live in Southern California. I look forward to a new vlog, every day, from The Pethericks & the Magical Moon Family. Blessings & keep safe, everyone.
hello everyone, what an great collective effort that is being done to get the pipes back into position, wonderful!! So enjoyable to see all the smiles and hear the banter, and occasional musical note!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Great admiration for all involved in the reconstruction and repair of this organ! Each bringing their talents and strengths to the project. Michael is doing a fantastic job raising money with his artwork. His musical background is coming in very handy. Crack on gentlemen and the strong women and partners who support you.🙏❤️
When Nick was explaining the workings of the organ, It brought to mind an old Jimmy Dorsey song. Part of the lyrics are "the music goes down and around, and it comes out here". I am loving the whole project. Thanks.
I love all the videos, watching the progress of the organ, kitchen and everything else being done around the convent. I'd also like to say Alex, you do amazing video work and the music you use I love. The Moons channel is well worth watching.

Billie, you do a great job filming. But this young man who has come back, IS FANTASTIC.
I do like Billy’s music.
Yeah, me too! I’d love a complete playlist …
Maybe Alex can use Billy's music part of the time
Love how Nick uses his intuitive gift to work with an old cathedral's organ in the same way he works with his legendary horses. It's really fun to watch.
"kick on"...man, i laughed so much. it's SUCH a horsey saying. Mick, how proud you must be of your sons, Billy and Michael they are truly amazing
"papa petherick"....soooo apt.
Billy .. “You gotta have a dream, if you don’t have a dream .. how you gonna make your dream come true” It’s happening, it’s really happening 👏👏👏❤️
You’ve got to be carefully taught!
What a Sensible song! c.f. Captain Sensible.
South Pacific musical. Great reference!
Love the music please tell me what you were playing today…loved it all!
Maybe one dream at a time or the "accountant" will be visiting!?!
Thank you all!! AND Alex thank you for your amazing talent!!!!

I purchased 3 too. Can't wait to see them properly. Just going to need three nice frames for them.
@malagastehlaate230 Early morning here, a bit sleepy still. So I read prints as pints, so I was abit confused as to why you bought two pints. 🤔😁
@@kittehgo 2 pints would put me on the floor... no way I could do that... but um... Yeah PRINTS...
I am mesmerized by this organ rebuild/restoration. It is amazingly complex, one wonders how humans ever thought this out to begin with. Fascinating! Like everyone here I can hardly wait to hear it played. TFS

The organ already sounds spectacular!!! Can’t wait to hear Michael’s first recital at the convent. Maybe for Christmas! 🎄 ❤❤❤

The wealth of knowledge floating around in the chapel is mind blowing! Great job today boys!!
I’ll say! Such a challenge being solved these guys! It has sincerely amazed me!
Yanis is sure working his way toward becoming a “Jack of all trades” with all the diverse projects he’s been working on! Well Done!

Crack on! Watching from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
They would be better without the slowmotion.
Ditto, couldn't of said it better. Just have to add, THE MUSIC CHOICES, are spot on
@chriswilford3576 They can't work to late or to early, the convent ghost doesn't like that. So that is why the vids are the length they are 👻
Billy and Michael it’s been a pleasure watching both of your channels over the years. Billy I love that you have big ideas and go for it ❤
Overwhelming to say the least, it's a family and friends partnership to get the organ back on her feet, well done to all.
The town is gonna go nuts when glorious organ music fills the streets!
When Billy first announced that Nick & Michael would be reconstructing & repairing the old organ I thought that they would lack the necessary skills - well how wrong was I! Never did I ever see myself watching an organ get put back together ❤️ 😊
Thank you for sharing, love the Moons😊
Great work. I never realised how complicated an organ is. Watching the restoration is exciting.
I have never been so impressed with a series. Wonderful family and friends. So educational 😍
I can’t get over how very fascinating this is!!
24:30 I keep thinking Michael is holding a magic wand 😂
It’s sounding absolutely heavenly!! You are doing excellent work!!! I’ve loved watching this process. Once in a life time thing!!

I like the color on the organ. I was you a couple of videos earlier talk about painting it, but it looks great as it is! :)
Wayching Nick concentrate is watching a skilled craftsman at work.
It's amazing what you have learned and your talents are impressive. Knowing how to repair the damaged pieces and using the Nanometer and apps like "find the note". has been educational. I'm enjoying the process, can I say I'm addicted. CRACK ON 👍✌🤟
YAY!!!! Michael.... love the Toccata! Did a little happy dance!
👍 I agree
This organ looks like it has always been there. It had to make a few centuries Journey to get to where it is now,...HOME!!❤❤
Love watching the restoration of the organ.
The organ looks as it was always there
What a wonderful journey. Well done. It is a joy to see the dedication and care shown by all those involved in the restoration of the organ and the convent.
I love when Michael plays the organ
The 'organ grinders' are doing a great job! Crack on!
Oh my God. It is beautiful. I would pay to attend an on line live concert, no matter what time of the day or night it was here in Arizona!
YES ! Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johannes Sebastian Bach PLEASE !!😊
16 foot dispason😂😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe you could put out a soundtrack of music when the organ is up and running? It would be another fundraiser idea, that could help specifically towards the chapel repairs!
so much fun to watch,,, good on you guys,,, Yannis,,, u are a such a hard worker,,, all of u are !
What an achievement taking place before our very eyes. Well Done doesn’t seem praise enough ☺️
Nick looks like a giant! How tall is he? And Yannis looks tiny when next to him! All of this organ building is so complex. I hope that you may surprise all of us with completion by Christmas! Do you ever marvel at the minds who developed these instruments? I know that I am marveling at your reconstruction.
If this rampant 'paying it forward' goes unchecked, joy will have no rest. Tragic ;)
What a magnificent voice she has! She's really coming along so well. Great job!
Great work all round. And the phenomenal photography is just the icing on the cake. Magnificent.
Hope you will make a documentary out of this lot!
Loving it all, beautiful music to come from a grand ole lady (the organ)
That title😂
It amazes me you guys know what to do! It looks stunning so far! Crack on!😁
Incredible work by the whole team 🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸🦸
Some parts of the organ seem to be very difficult to get to, really tricky, but you look to be having loads of fun😅
The combined lot of you produce the sounds of happiness. Thank you. 🎉❤🎉❤😊
Waiting for the organ to play loud and proud and bring the convent back to life
Not too loud it might make more paint fall off the ceiling.
Everyone who has touched that organ has every right to be so proud of themselves. It’s fantastic. Michael love your sketches
hello everyone, what an great collective effort that is being done to get the pipes back into position, wonderful!! So enjoyable to see all the smiles and hear the banter, and occasional musical note!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
You should release your music Playlist for these videos. I just love listening to it.
Wow, that organ is going so wonderful for weddings in the future.. maybe even Billy & Gwen’s, hmm… 😊
Great admiration for all involved in the reconstruction and repair of this organ! Each bringing their talents and strengths to the project. Michael is doing a fantastic job raising money with his artwork. His musical background is coming in very handy. Crack on gentlemen and the strong women and partners who support you.🙏❤️
incredible work - everyone should be very proud of the efforts. cheers to the team!
When Nick was explaining the workings of the organ, It brought to mind an old Jimmy Dorsey song. Part of the lyrics are "the music goes down and around, and it comes out here". I am loving the whole project. Thanks.
Scary intro music Alex!
I love all the videos, watching the progress of the organ, kitchen and everything else being done around the convent. I'd also like to say Alex, you do amazing video work and the music you use I love. The Moons channel is well worth watching.
looking good. Can't wait for the organ to be finished and to see what becomes of that gorgeous ceiling. Love you all.
Fabulous Video - the talent, expertise, intelligence and comedy as well - Loving the lurve!😘
Your prints are amazing you all are an inspiration.
