My grandma used to make peach halves stuffed with cottage cheese and sprinkled with shredded cheddar like just a little bit. I actually liked it. I'd like it even better drizzled with honey. I always thought it was like a deep South kinda dish bc we always had it at potlucks and stuff.
Southerner here too ! We eat cottage cheese with everything lol 😂. Peaches , pears , pineapple, tomatoes, cucumbers, granola and honey , lasagna, jello salads and the list goes on.

As someone who HATES oatmeal I feel you!!! BUT I found a way I can eat it. When I was in Europe they had this “cereal” called muesli. It’s basically just old fashioned oats mixed with some nuts & fried fruit like raisins, cranberries & dates.Add milk if your choice & eat it like cold cereal. You can add some sugar or sugar substitute but I usually add a cut up nana& all the fruit makes it sweet enough.
As a German, it's funny to see that müsli is such a discovery for you :) happy you like it - I lived on müsli and quark and fresh fruit as a kid and teen. It's so good that it comes in so many varieties as by now bc I hate both hazelnuts and raisins, but cherries, banana chips, papaya, blueberries, cashews and almonds are a blast.

Have you tried overnight oats? I ask bc I hated (and still hate) hot/warm oatmeal, but overnight oats hit different & I love it.
if u wanna make sure ur avocado is ripe u can push the little knob it has on its side it it goes inside the fruit is rpe if it does not it needs few days plus u can always give it a light squish it it feels soft it good too

Cottage cheese and pineapple are a match made in heaven. I eat like this everyday. I am a type 1 diabetic so, low carb, high protein for me atm, maybe soon I can add some slow carbs back into my diet. It is a great way to build muscle. I am the exact opposite from you, Sierra Ann. I got really sick for a few years and now I am barely 100 pounds. I am 5'4. I need to gain weight. Trust me, I know what it is like to be stared at, whispered about, and even my own mother has talk smack about me.😢
But I have to focus on myself, keep working to get healthier, stronger, just like you. Thank you for inspiring me. I think you are the sweetest, most relatable and simply honest person I have seen in a long time..Thank you!🦋💠🦋

I actually grew up eating cottage cheese as a stable 😂. Try it on multigrain rice with honey, best snack. Or put it in a tomato salad. Or my mom likes to drain it and mix it with flour and eggs to make pancakes. Delish!

I'm a generally very small guy with an insanely fast metabolism...I eat so much and still remain very small and everyone always says if I wanna gain more weight I should eat more and it really got annoying at some point because personally I know I generally eat more than the average person. a fun variation to oatmeal that i love is baked oats! there’s a handful of protein baked oat recipes out there that are fireeeee, and the texture is just kinda like a dense muffin! especially if you toss the oats in a blender

This video was delightful and that salmon looked so good! If you live near a Trader Joe's, I like to add their dry ranch seasoning to salads along with some garlic powder to give the veggies a little more flavor.

For spinach, I’d suggest doing a chiffonade (technically you use it for basil and other herbs but it should work the same). Basically, you take some leaves, stack them on top of each other, roll tightly, and chop to desired width. They should look like little ribbons when you’re done. Hope this helps!

Cottage cheese, little dash sugar, fruit of choic, and mix. It is so good. I use fresh peaches "frozen any fruits" are amazing. I was 6yo when my neighbor made this for me. Beautiful old German lady. My yard was full of berries, and I collected daily and gave out free berries to my neighbors. ❤

ok suggestion for my girlies who love a good salad/buddha bowl with a ton of side veggies, one good dressing you can buy is the trader joes siracha bbq one in the glass bottle. Little bit goes a long way. Another one I use quite often is yogurt, salt, a tiny bit of sugar, and mint, and top the salad off with balsamic vinegar.
