The fact you’re still able to speak and explain things while surfing this fast makes me jealous 😃. I have to drop the sail after 10 minutes because of my very poor condition 😬. The sail looks great!
Nice to see the thrill of speed..😛 I sail Severne Turbo twin cams when I'm sailing freerace in chop. I like them in the gusty patchy wind but once it gets up you can't depower them like no cams. As I get older I might have to try the no cam NCX's..I'll still use the cammed sails in shallow flatwater speed sailing.
Loved this. Is there a better month to visit vass in the year? I would love to plan a vacation next year but I want to do it when there is a higher chance of it being windy. Also, what is there to do there with my wife while not windsurfing? This may be on the walk along series, and if so I will check there.
Loads of stuff for a non-windsurfer to do here in vass. June-August wind is cleanest… but we’ve had some amazing weeks outside those dates in the past few years… wind sports, fluky wind! Book up and get here!
The nationals used are super strong… many chat rooms, forums and reviews are raving about the strength of the materials used in Point-7 over other brands…. Especially the durability to UV damage compared to others
With the camera mount so close to the boom, you really have to duck to avoid hitting your head during a jibe. Do you think that is a good exercise for better jibing? I raise the camera above my head by attaching the Flymount to the sail mast sleeve which is not the best for rotating to view one side then the other… but it is not prone to head whacks due to lack of attention…

Try point-7 instead of Severne… once you go to the dark side of windsurfing you won’t go back! 🤩
😂 I've considered switching to other brands a few times but I'd have to buy more masts .
@@horsemadf1big size sails are usually rigged on constant curve mast so not much of a problem…

Haha… not really… it’s annoying having to suck and doesn’t really help the gybe… but gets a better view for the rest of the video!
Curious to know how much wind you are in.
I’m powered on a 6.1…. Others around me are on 4.0-4.4… so mid twenty knots or so.
