FANTASTIC!
Imagine the inserts made from a darker wood.
Maybe a walnut or purple heart
Look for finsa MDF. Formable 10mm. 3mx1.22m
Brilliant!
Trabalho inclivel amigo 👏👏👏
You are amazing👍👍👍
Ingenious!
Tuyệt vơi ❤
Thank you
👍💓!!!
😮😮,,,,so amazing....
Nice work, I really like it.
Greetings from Ireland.
Thankyou !!! From italy
👍😊
👍😊
This is a great solution for kerf bending when the face will be on the interior of the curve such as the back rest or seat of a chair. Especially in those cases because the shims and glue should create a really solid surface.
👍👍😊😊
Merci pour le partage !
🇫🇷-->🇰🇷
👍😁
Excellent, well worth the effort
👍😉
Excellent solution, makes kerf bent wood much more attractive! Thank you for sharing. Curious how you calculated the 2.5° wedges.
My same thought...I think it depends on the number of slots cut and you divide 180 by that slot number. I tried to count the slots and I believe it might be 72 or close to that number...180 ÷ 72 = 2.5
@@editek5992 oh cool, thanks very much. For some reason my brain just farted instead of working it out. Thanks again.
Really cool idea.
thank you👍😊
It’s crazy how 1mil can make such a difference in flexibility. Thanks I always enjoy your content.
Thank you for always watching.👍👍
Very interesting 👍thanks for sharing this with us. What are you making with it ?
I'm making a shelf in the shape of a tree.👍
I love this! For a bit more flair you could keep track of the wedges as they fly off the saw and glue them up in order for a continuous grain look.
Why not use a radial arm saw??
I prefer the table saw👍
Bucket of hot water first to soften the wood?
👍👍👍
👍🏻
Cut the angle out of the wood and save the time of cutting wedges. A bandsaw might be better to use then the tablesaw but I know it can be done with both. Same principle as a waterfall table or whatever they call it
4:50 de 1 mm olan ölçü neresi?
Wait, how does this only have 2000 views?
😢😢
👍👍👍👍🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐
👍👍
Show show show.

🐝💤💥❤💫👍👍
it's not exactly a new way, been around for centuries.
좋은 팁 감사합니다. ua-cam.com/video/8ZPVWwA3F00/v-deo.html 이렇게 해결한 케이스도 있긴 하더라구요ㅎㅎ
I did this about 4 years ago to make a curved section for bath panel framework, just filled in the gaps with epoxy. this is not a new technique.
He said unique. Not new. There is a difference.
@@jamesbizs This is not UNIQUE either, this has been known for over a hundred years of how to make wood bend where steaming is not practical or possible, and because it's made weaker as a result, those gaps have to be filled. It's cool sure, but "Unique" no.
"Kerfing" (which is what this technique is called) and bending wood like this has been used to bend wooden skirting and trims in homes since the early 20th century at least - I do this sort of thing for a living and have been for a long time and I KNOW THE HISTORY OF WOODWORKING.
Kerfing... thanks! 👍💓
@@jamesbizs "bending trees in a NEW way"
@@leahannwhite1111 hehe no problem. Technically - the word "Kerf" refers to the width of a blade, hand saw blade, table saw etc - so the "kerfing" is where you're just making repeated cuts to the width of the blade or wider - do it enough and you can bend wood to interesting shapes like this. - Some places sell "bendy board" which is wood or MDF that's already been kerfed like this to bed around curves - like the shape of a chair for the back of an upholstered chair.
