Stealing art is stealing art. Regardless of credit. She didn't overreact at all.
She credit her bruh move on if they credit her it means they didn’t claim it as theirs!
Høney that doesn’t mean a lot. A lot of people need to give consent for other people to repost their art. Art isn’t simple and it’s not something basic. It’s something a lot of people use as a job and people who repost art without consent can lead to consequences. You might think of it as a promotion but to others it’s theft.
@@yoanaru7927 so what. Let's say u draw something for the last like 4 hours. And then someone else takes it changes it a bit says it's theirs and ends up being more liked than urs which is the original. U don't even understand. This has happened to me and in the end they didn't even try to change a bit my drawing they just took it and wrote as a caption "it took me so much time" and then I literally dm this person from another acc and asked her to send me a drawing she made cuz she said in her bio that she makes drawins for ppl and she sent another drawing from my page. Well u can understand how mad I was. It's not that simple

I totally get Bianca’s point with the makeup. At first, it felt like she was attacking Ulta but later it felt like she was just discouraging people from returning makeup. I think Ulta is totally in the clear for this situation, what they’re doing is safe and sanitary. It sucks, but it’s not their fault
Yeah, like you can't 100% know it hasn't been used ... you know if someone got an infection all the people who are saying it's wasteful would be up in arms saying ULTA shouldn't sell returned products.
Skylar Lange i understand why they also won’t let them take it home cause it could be tampered with
It's also what most makeup stores do anyway, like do people not know about this? 😂
M S FACTS!! :)))
-an Ulta employee!!
I totally agree and thought the same thing, maybe Bianca could have worded it better because half the video I was like "girl, why do you want them to re-shelf it ew."
the fact that ulta got in touch with her, making sure she was doing okay is kinda cool ☺️
Ikr! And they didn’t get mad at her for telling them about the things they do I’m pretty sure. It’s nice.
I just got there and it’s pretty cool that an Ulta employee made sure that they are okay.
Yess
I agree, it's really sweet for Ulta to do that. Still, those who have done such things to her with hateful intent are the true entitled jerks.
I mean, it’s nice. Some companies might fire her…
This is why in Sweden we have "open the package = no return" policy.
Some companies in the USA have that policy as well... but Ulta (bc I think they just want you to buy buy buy) they don’t have that policy- I asked the other week when I was looking at face masks (hydrating treatments) if the employee had used it or knew which one was better... she just told me “well if you use some of the masks and don’t like it, you can just return it within 60 days” 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I worked at a shoe store here in the US and if was wore outside we can't return and it has to be clean too. People are nasty
Someone can re package it tho
Sameeee! Here in Massachusetts! It’s more sanitary
Yes, I was so surprised to hear that in the US people can just return (unsealed) cosmetics!
“She could’ve asked Loren privately” yeah because people with millions of followers check their DM requests everyday
Init it’s Lorens fault. There’s just something about Loren that I really just don’t like.
And it isn't even only a problem with just loren. She mentioned ppl do this all the time so no wonder she wanted to make a general statement
Strawberry Milk if she wanted to make a general statement then she wouldn’t have tagged her and called her out by name
Omg Anzu 🥺

I just dont think so . They've got mils to answer . That will take forever. I remember I didnt ans DMS for z whole week, i got 12k followers , and familty members to ans ppl who idk , all shorts. Soooooòoòòòooo
These people will NEVER understand why it’s a big deal to steal art.
But there are less fortunate ppl out there that cant afford the high priced pallets ,lipsticks etc .. why destroying it if its fine ... Why make everything about the money.. art is supposed to be everyones privilege.. 😕

@@user-xm9og3gq3o theyre talking about the second story not the first
“why couldn’t she ask loren privately” uhhh there’s a very low probability that loren would’ve responded to a random dm. It’s so sad to see this artist being attacked by people. Art takes time, effort and skill so it’s completely reasonable and justified to be angry when multiple people steal your art.
EXACTLY she has 19.2 MILLIONS followers. She must get a lot of dms, some from fans, some from haters EVERY DAY. She would need multiple people to dm to Loren to notice, no matter how good she is. Is just not possible unless she has multiple people reviewing it every day.
If you post your art online, it will eventually be stolen. That's just an inevitability.
@@skeletontoes7692 That's doesn't mean it's right. We can help to change that. With awareness, tech, programs, rules or laws. We are moving into the future with things and jobs being more digital, so people need their work protected. It was just as much hard work. How is it different from stealing something physical? Why do some people say "support indies and small businesses and creators" yet make it hard for them like the ones on social media? When some people can only afford to start their work or business on social media.
The ppl hating on Marley is basically just ‘tell me you aren’t an artist without actually telling me’
It makes sense why Ulta does it. It would be much worse if they just put it back on the shelf.
And if people dumpster dived and then tried to return it again, or sold it to someone. Ewww.
I don’t understand why people getting mad about it.
that’s what i was thinking. i was kinda scared they would just put it back on the shelf
It could be a huge health risk, I dont understand why people are sooo mad about it.
It's a horrific waste of product & packaging. They could easily find ways around this, get employees to sign waivers, sealed products could be donated, or if that's not viable (which I get, especially now)! *at the very least* they could choose to work with the companies to recycle it.
Sephora does the same thing Ulta does. It's just to make sure there's no cross contamination.
This. Especially at a time like this, there are posts up about not accepting returns due to Corona.
Every kind of store does it because it’s the law.
Why can people even return used make-up products?
We bein knowinG😐
@@CassidyStarke There's many different cases for why people are allowed to return used makeup. i.e. foundation not being the right shade for you. I know I'd want to exchange or get my money back if I'm not going to be able to use it.
So uh. There is a GOOD reason why it's done. You never know what contaminates come into the products. You never know what could have gotten into what. It's a health and safety hazard NOT to do this. Wasteful yes. Then dont return your ulta items and give them away instead.
Exactly... Contamination isn't a joke.. Sometimes it can be less harmful but also some can be fatal especially of u have any sort of allergy
Exactly. Just give it away so it doesn't go to waste. Things going to waste is very sad, but people could be doing a lot more beyond just complaining and bitching.
I mean giving it away after you’ve used it is still really nasty. Just be mindful of what you buy and try not to throw things away.
@@gummy5862 Just be honest that it's used and let people to choose to accept the risks or not. Some are willing.
I can't tell you how many times people have tried to return hair products that are clearly tampered with or they replaced the actual product with something cheap. You cannot resell that. You can't trust what people do with products once they leave the store. Sure it's wasteful, but better safe than sorry.
Dude if someone is desperate enough to rummage through the trash and apply those products to their skin, they should be able to accept any and all repercussions of that decision.
Shouldn't we not accept opened items for return?
@@Da69expert1 Problem is, they can sue the store/brand if they get skin issues claiming they bought it after dumpster diving for easy money or free products.
@@Da69expert1 3:49 Yeah, but Bianca said dumpster divers return or sell those products. But if people are willing to buy from unofficial sellers then they should know there are risks.
@@gazingsky7987 How can a store be sued if the people chose to get it from the trash?
"You're so wasteful"

Dude what do you want.
Beauty stores should just throw the stuff away, if someone buys it from someone sketchy online instead of at a store which SHOULDNT be selling you anything that's been touched by others then its on them, but i feel like thats a fair medium
@@KudryavkaNoumiWafuu Agree.

I really don't know why people react to stuff like that.
And some are the same people!
It's good to have different opinions, but when it's the same person, and being hateful...why...
Im your 1000th like
The whole Ulta thing isn’t necessarily a bad thing. ALL companies, (especially cosmetic companies), need to destroy products after they’re returned. Especially now during a pandemic, it’s the safest thing to do. Putting it back on the shelf isn’t sanitary.
reganmarie *returns tv*
Employee: GUYS *IT’S TIME*
INDEPENDENT OREO funny bit that’s different used makeup can give u pink eye n etc
Maybe they should have a no return policy
It is actually like if people return food if there is something wrong with it like if it has something you’re allergic to they can’t sell it again, because it might have been poisoned or drugged and put back together.
reganmarie exactly! it’s just like halloween candy, people can put chemicals or other things in the makeup 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I'm real confused.
Bianca: This sucks.
Also Bianca: This is totally fine and good.
Ikr. Her opinion about it changes depending on who she's talking to.
I guess she meant something like this “hey, we do this to returned items, so don’t return stuff okay? And yes this is a good and necessary practice, not returning is the only way to avoid this”
I guess she ment that it sucks that the products need to be destroyed and she feels bad for doing it buuuuuuut in the end it s for the best🤷🏼♀️
From the video, I just concluded that she understands Ulta’s perspective and the reasons as to why the makeup can’t be resold, but still finds it a complete waste to mess up all of these products that are otherwise completely fine. Right cause, wrong method.
@@TheSuperFairy I think you are correct.
Even if Lauren didn't know, I feel like she should have taken the chance to educate her fan base that stealing art is not okay. Though it's good she changed the pic and stuff, but I feel like her response could have been better
“I feel so bad for Loren.”
You wouldn’t be saying that if it was your own art being stolen.
The people who defend that stuff don’t even make art most of the time
its that loren didnt know that the art was stolen so its not lorens fault it the fan acc that tagged her in it she thought someone made it for her and thats why she put it as her pfp. ppl feel bad for loren bc she was literally ATTACKED by artists when loren didnt have anything to do with the situation as she didnt know it was stolen and edited
@@hannia3014 the marly girl didnt attack her. So idk about what other artists though.
Nah, I would still say it since loren didn't even know the art was stolen.
I would be mad if someone just literally copied my drawing.
i think it’s SO funny that people attacked an artist for being upset that her art was being edited and used by people with a big following without credit or acknowledgement. anybody would be mad. if the artist who edited it credited the original artist loren should have contacted her and asked.
agreed, but they dont understand the work and dedication artists put into their art 😒
10/10 agree !
@Eridanus Eridani imagine you spend 20h on a drawing and people steal it and edit it just to get the credit. Yea no big deal at all
Eridanus Eridani and? why don’t you try and put yourself into the artists shoes who’s been dealing with stolen art for possibly years. It gets tiring. People don’t respect artists and it shows.
Eridanus Eridani tell me why shouldn’t an artist get credit for their own work? Think about it like this, if you had a big project at work or school and your partner who was supposed to do it with you claimed the work you did as their own. Would you be upset? Would you talk to your boss or your teacher? This is about giving credit where credit is due and not STEALING! Her work is her intellectual property. To say it isn’t a big deal and the artist is essentially clout chasing is belittling to the plight of every artist who gets their work stolen.
Art theft makes me hesitant to post anything anymore.

With the ulta one I kind of get it so that like she said, people can’t steal it, and the person using it could’ve tampered with it or had a condition which contaminated it.
crusty leaf
That and also any contaminants on the surface.
It is wasteful but I guess from now people should take measures to ensure that they will truly like the product they are buying so they won’t have to return it. That’s what the testers are for and you could always give it to a friend who wants it.
“So they can’t dumpster dive and steal it” so you throw it away? How selfish. ( not her but the people that tell her to do it ) it’s so selfish
@@allisa6010 they werent trying to be selfish, they were trying to throw it away because if someone puts it back up for sale and its contaminated and give people pink eye or infections thats why they throw it away
Allisa its not selfish so its selfish to care about peoples health ya i don't think so :/
Of course they destroy a customer return! You wouldn’t want to buy lipstick that was previously owned by a stranger.
As for dumpster diving, that’s not you or me finding some treasures in the trash to save a couple of bucks one day. Dumpster diving IS a business. People hope to steal large quantities to resell to unsuspecting customers. These customers are not informed that these products are stolen or have been deposed of. These customers don’t know they’re buying trash. It’s a cutthroat business, too, where they don’t care about a person’s wellbeing. Other dumpster divers are their competition. It may sound silly to you, but many resort to violence regardless of whether or not you’re aware of it.
For safety reasons, I would suggest that you don’t put stuff on your face that has been previously owned or in the trash.
people are so rude, why would they attack her for doing her job. 🙄
Why does she feel the need to report about it?
@@trishmatteo I want to learn about it and jobs. I thought returned products become testers. It's important for me to know so I don't return products any more. It's hard for me to say this cause some people assume everyone knows what Bianca says.

Jorgina Fuentes loren did apologize
what’s wrong with me o-O Not really she just addressed the situation but never said sorry.
bcs its literally not her fault
I think ur right. Loren could’ve Ben more careful with the edited pic and no joke, if she just clicked on the account she would’ve seen that there is just this edited pic and the others are not like the drawing. And the artist had a right to be mad. Just like she said, she worked hours on it and someone that is not careful enough just takes it. She could’ve done some research. Loren should apologize.
Ppl who don't draw or make other form of art (example music and writing) just being clowns not understanding why the artist got mad. If it was my art I'd be angry too I don't get why people don't see the problem, it's litereally stealing. But they do that at airports too-
They do it at airports for the safety of the passengers, the pilots, and the flight attendants. Leaving your place of business isn’t any comparison.
"It's not that deep"
Yep, because 8 hours of work and then someone edits it and calls it her own. How would YOU feel if someone took YOUR work edited it a little bit and then called it their own? You can't be talking if you haven't put yourself in someone else's shoes to see how THEY feel.
That’s literally sanitary laws...they’re not going to sell reused make up ffs! Did people lose their brain ?
Explanation: imagine someone buys used makeup and gets pink eye, they would use this opportunity to sue Ulta and make millions
I know! And to the people who think they should donate it. I’ve heard so many stories of people returning counterfeit makeup as part of a scam or just tampering with it period (switching out product for cheaper product). No one wants to accept that kind of liability if something goes wrong
Didn't Ulta used to resell barely used makeup too? And didn't they get sued over it or something
And is Bianca fired?
People don't remember the whole Tylenol poisoned bottles back in the 80s before tamper-proof packaging was made. There are wackos out there who will poison things just to poison them.
I remember hearing a story about a store refusing to refund condoms, because who wants to take that kind of risk with people's health and wellbeing? At least they were letting people return the product, because what would happen if they didn't get returned? They'd just not get used and thrown away or get given to someone else, which people can still do instead of returning. A business can't risk reselling it or giving it away because then they'll be liable for if someone gets ill.

I think the reason they have to "destroy" the products is, like the video said, so people don't dumpster dive, and possibly get perfectly good products for free. That way they don't loose money.
Not just that but they'll try to sell it. 🤢
They can write off any returned product as as a loss and use that $ amount as a tax exemption.

It’s an insult to all the hard work I put into my job and they usually edit it badly so it taints the style you have worked so hard to put your name on.
It breaks my heart to see people hound the artist for overreacting, it sucks when the art you put so much effort and heart into gets ripped off and used without credit.
😪you are brave enough to share you art with the world and it gets taken with no credit or question.
Ikr
Elise Duarte it makes me sooo mad that people say that the artist was overreacting they put dedication and time to it and for people just to say you’re exaggerating is just rude
Exactly There aren't enough people with your mindset
Elise Duarte the thing is loren didn’t know plus the artist could’ve talk privately with loren
I think it’s not Loren’s fault as she didn’t know, and she handled it great. The first artist reacted a great way, neither of them are in the wrong except the person who edited it first.
She says she didn’t know. She knew. Its always “my team did it”. She knew.
She is so confusing. She is playing both sides of the fence. 😐
That’s what I thought. She made it seem like it was Ultas fault by only saying they do it so people can’t steal and not just because it could be contaminated until way later
Honestly...stealing someone’s art is very bad and the artist didn’t overreact she didn’t even say anything bad she was upset becuase her art was stolen anyone would react the same! But I have to say Loren really took this in a good way no over the top explanation which I really appreciate :3
period
Johedus I’m an artist and I have no patience for people who steal art. I understand why the artist was so upset, she had every right to be. That’s intellectual property, and it’s incredibly insulting when someone takes that from you and uses it.
The Tik Tok responses were typical of the demographic it's aiming for, kids, and so I agree that she is absolutely within her rights to sound the alarm, especially since it continues to happen.
@@dagoth_ur_official7604 Exactly. She was only getting heat cause people are toxic and always defend people in an unusual way. (btw I meant some fans not all fans)
iiHoney beeii I never said loren did anything wrong, I said sometimes people get toxic.
"Not that deep" .... DO THESE PEOPLE NOT REALIZE THAT STEALING ART IS CONSIDERED THEFT TOO?!?!?
They're probably the ones to say tracing is a form of art too-
Okay but they gave credit sis sooooo
Ikrr, imagine being an artist spending so much time and effort just to have people use your art and edits it without permission /credit
art takes a lot of time and effort so yeah I completely understand her anger over it
The same kind of people who think commissions can be paid with exposure
The Ulta issue is a consumer problem. People buy things and just return it like it means nothing to return items.
I feel like they could use it on makeup dolls for like practice or something
As an artist, it's a MASSIVE deal when someone edits your art without permission and posts it without credit. Artists shouldn't have to put a watermark over their art so it isn't stolen
Natasha Trimble EXACTLY, I’m not an artist but I make video edits and let me tell you it’s gets annoying when people steal your ideas without giving proper credit!
Natasha Trimble i’m an artist too but either way i’d rather put a watermark than have it stolen so
Yeah I'm so triggered at that part. She isn't even overreacting
ashley pleitez I agree becuz whatever you post on internet, when you get a number of following, ppl will steal the thing that gets u the following cuz they would want the same for themselves but don’t do it w their own hard work. There are good and bad ppl, we can’t force ppl to not steal, some ppl are just like that. So it’s better safe than sorry.
I completely agree. I had someone do this to me and everyone in my class liked her drawing bc she colored it differently even though mine was not only the orginal but I colored it correctly (fan art) and made that picture SPECIFICALLY for her. Its why I don't give people my art other than my close friends who're artsists too.
Are people brain dead? Like I’m convinced everybody is losing brain cells. Who’s gonna resell used makeup
a lot of people do it actually
Some people need the cash...
Syeda Rahman Ulta doesnt.
People who don't care about other people's safety
A lot of people does this. Wake up, sweetie!
Thank you Ulta for selling me new products and for keeping us safe ❤️.
Also, some people might pretend to buy/return items with intent to get it from the dumpster later. I think that’s stealing, not dumpster diving in general
Bruh “you coulda privately told her.” I know for a fact that Loren being a huge influencer with millions of fans wouldn’t have responded to it unless it started getting attention. A single DM wouldn’t get noticed. She did the right thing
iibunnyhxpii exactly🙄like ppl are pressed at the artist for no reason influencers only care about what they look like to the public. As if she would’ve taken it down if it were talked in private
if she saw the fanart dm then she could see other dms too.
Mxple The fan art wasn’t a dm, they had tagged her in it.
Unrelated topic: i love ur profile pic lol
Periodt
So, people get angry when it's cleaned and restocked and they also get angry when it's destroyed so it can't be resold.
Pretty much
Literally, everyone always has to say something bad
I think the biggest issue was the fact that it could not be ‘taken’ from the dumpster. You know - ‘free’ make up...
I find it so weird,Because I thought using say like someone's lipstick, mascara etc. was actually bad.
@@madiCOB Dumpsters get locked up because that "free" make up isn't typically being kept and used; nine times in ten it gets sold on something Mercari or Marketplace or eBay.
the "BAHAHAH" has me dying laughing im sorry-
Art stealing is a HUGE problem. There are accounts that repost art without credit. There are people that trace, edit or just covers the name of the author. There was a polemic that was about how a bigger account was stealing a 16y/o art and the teen in question was beging attacked, I think the did even tried to dox him, because people said that he was the stealer. The creator of Fairy Oddparents sold a 100 dolars comision that was a trace. A woman from Argentina sold 28 traced pictures to the Evita museum and got a scholarship for studding art. Artist have the constant fear of getting their work stolen and even beging acused of stealing their own work. The artist did good and so did Loren, the artist didn't acuse Loren after she apologized, removed the picture, and explained what happened. For non artist, you can think it is a school task. You can get detention if someone copies you and acuse you. You can get 0/10 because they stole your work and they can get a 10. Is horrible.
Ulta is doing the right thing, is protecting their customers. About the dumpster divers, if the trash is in a closed space is stealing since is still Ulta propiety. Also, people could false acuse Ulta of problems with the makeup and sue them with make up from the trash.
as a struggling artist who’s had their art stolen by others with a bigger influence, been attacked for “making a big deal” about my art being completely stolen and told that “im just jEalOus” for absolutely no reason, yeah, marly had every right to be upset
ironslidess it never happened to me personally but as an artist I can kind of imagine
ok but how would Loren know like chill
THANK YOU
@@medameg Neither people are in the wrong. That artist had the right to get upset that people stole her art. As an artist when someone steals your hard work and claims it as there own gets annoying. Loren apologized because she didn't know and then the girl also apologized for attacking her. The person that should be getting heat is the person who traced the work and stole it.
Clown Dotcom // she didn’t even apologise, she just said she didn’t know.
I can’t believe people are getting pressed about the whole makeup thing, it’s so unsanitary go search videos about sample makeups in store it’s disgusting the type of bacteria’s they find in them
Literally watched a lady put on the sample lipsticks and i just couldn't 🤢
In the age of covid19 I hope ppl realise just how responsible it is to dispose something that might be used. It's could be contaminated it might harm. Health is priceless.
Don K LMAOAOAKS
Depends on if it's sealed or expired or not lol
I feel so bad for the girl w the art situation tbh, you can tell she was scared of how powerful TikTok is and how their fan base can literally destroy a business in days!
she was 10000000% in the right, think about it this way imagine you make dresses and you've worked YEARS to perfect your craft and make a living (or try to) doing it, but ppl keep stealing your designs and not giving you any credit, you lose business you lose credibility you lose everything. so yeah definitely good for her for speaking up cause it's not talked about enough.
Yall realize bath and body does this also . Almost all makeup stores do this
The fact that people are out here like “omg it’s not deep, it’s just art” people put in so much or their time and effort into ONE piece of work, it’s not something to put aside and I’m just saying facts
soft chi exactly ffs whjrnfjjfjdjdj
Exactlyyy
For real! Plus, that would count as copyright infringement. The biggest problem with reposting without proper credit, is that the original artist (like in this case) gets lost over the sharing history, and their work can thus be more easily stolen by random merch-companies who make money on the work of another person, without any monetary compensation.
EXACTLY
I’ve just started digital art and it is so long and tiring. Seeing that some people have the nerve to steal other’s art is so disgusting.
loren handled it well, her fans saying the artist “overreacted” is so selfish :(
yes. i agree
It’s honestly ridiculous, it’s their art and they have the right to get angry if someone stole it without their permission
Eden Kara I agree when I used to edit tv show pictures for my fan page I alway put watermarks on every edit so no one can take it.
iiHoney beeii Well it’s their art taken without permission, so it’s safe to assume that she thought it was stolen from her.
@iiHoney beeii their art was taken without permission, of course she would assume that it was stolen.😑
thank you for putting captions!
I was a department manager at an ulta and that's what every Friday consisted of for me. Any returns or damaged/opened products had to be destroyed completely because people would dumpster dive and try to resell products which just isn't sanitary and safe. Its a huge bummer because it feels like a huge waste but I do understand why we had to do that.
She’s literally just doing her job why they hating people are losing brain cells😑
It's not like she has a choice😭
It’s the same type of people that come into your job and complain about prices. Like dude I don’t own the place and have any say about pricing. I just work here.
Her job isn't filming what she does
Kalina G Grudova girl shut up
@@kikilriki she's not going to risk her job just to satisfy dumpster divers
The people saying "I feel bad for Loren" do they even realize how many hours it took us artists to sketch, lineart, clean lineart, color, shade, highlight and give a background to our drawings and art just for it to be stolen, traced, etc? It's sickening to say that the artist overreacted!
This 💯 percent
I mean, I’d get annoyed if someone borrowed one of my sentences in an essay, let along something I might have worked hours on! (Btw I’m not an artist, so I don’t really know how you feel. I sympathize with your righteous annoyance, but I can’t actually empathize)
Chali Devilianne but it wasn’t even her fault, yes, she used it but she had no idea it was traced, they blamed her for something she didn’t do
I anger for u and artists🤍, Loren should not have stole the artists work and people trying to say they overacted don’t understand that it’s the artists literal own art piece and that Loren did no work in creating it or anything and that it takes so much effort and joy and passion into creating art pieces 🤍
And even though Loren didn’t know, she doesn’t deserve anyone to feel bad for HER, when she can’t even feel any sympathy to the artist to actually apologize with real care
Not me getting an Ulta ad in the middle of the video 😂😂
11:54 to 11:56 "Now she apologizes BAHAHAHA" The "BAHAHAH" sound made me dying- 🤣
She had her art stolen, why is SHE apologising? She did nothing wrong
Dude exactly.
When somebody steals your art it's just... Painful.
she dints have it stolen she said that the person tagged her in the photo
@@jameeliz she wasn't aware, either way, in her post, she had mentioned that she had asked that none of her art was to be edited or taken, even if credit is shown, what the editor did is disrespecting her wishes and is just rude
Anyway it didn't have a watemark to provide it was heru never know she could have found it on the internet. Anyways what's the big deal she posted it people are obs going to take it . on the inta people take it so?
i understand it wasn’t loren’s fault but these clueless people saying “its not that deep” shouldnt even express their opinion if they don’t know what artist’s go thru like sit down
•Cynthia • i think it’s mostly creatives that can relate to how deep it actually is😪 not getting credit for your work and having people making changes to it without your knowledge hurts.
They sound like the ones who ask artists to draw something for them and get mad when they know the price for it and say "I'm better anyways".
Yeah it’s so frustrating because the artist spends a ton of time for making a drawing and doesn’t even get credited for it
Why doesn't Ulta have a policy against returning opened products?
A trash can on private property is not open for the public to steal from.
12:06
“If you don’t want anyone to steal your stuff, then put a watermark”
Or just...don’t steal others art.
Exactly. Like how easy is it to edit out a watermark anyway. People need to stop stealing what they did not create. This is a huge problem with today's society - entitlement.
@@AddorableV PREACH
Art thieves are trash
Yep
@@AddorableV Yeah, especially how many easy free editing apps nowadays
The artist isn’t over reacting. One art piece can takes several hours and even days to finish, so I can see why they got upset.
Amd I'm also sure that watermarks and Autographs can be easily edited out too!
right
As an artist knowing the hours one piece can take it’s personal when someone takes it on as their own. Liken to identify theft. This is why I will never post pics of my work I don’t need other ppls opinions or bs infecting the love energy I put into my creations.
yea same im an artist- sometimes weeks if it's a REALLY BIG project but it's quite rare
As an artist, when people use my art claiming it's their's. I would be literally upset and mad because from how hard I work on my art and it takes hours to do depends what I'm drawing. I put a watermark that is impossible to be edited like the background behind the watermark so it would not stolen.
Try to think of all of the warnings you’d get about Halloween candy you’d get as a child. Now apply those warnings to returned make-up, or ANY beauty product you’d use on your hair, skin or face. That’s scary!
I can confirm that Ulta is very good to their employees.
shes the definition of "dude i literally just work here"
She doesn’t make the rules
She even said smt like it to lol
What else is she supposed to do with it.
I’d rather they waste it then put it back on the shelf’s like c’mon guys
Peaceinnutella obviously you can’t understand because that’s what I’m saying…I never said that it should be put back on the shelf so kindly learn to read before you spend your time writing a paragraph for no reason …like hello can’t you understand that. And it’s health* btw :))
Peaceinnutella wow clearly you can’t read 🤦🏻♀️ she said she wanted them to THROW IT AWAY instead of keeping it, understand now? I’m sorry for getting rude, but I’m going to when you go off on someone for no reason.
I can understand why there’s a misunderstanding, you used the word ‘then’ instead of ‘than’
Don’t come after them when it was YOUR error that caused the misunderstanding. You put “then” instead of “than” which would cause confusion.
@@sydneypeters787 why can't just have a no return policy,huh?
I like how when one store or smth is mentioned, people like saying “Yeah, I used to/am working at (insert store).”
I’ve seen a documentary where dumpster divers go through bins like that and then sell the goods on Amazon as new. I can understand why they destroy them. I wish there was a better way to deal with the waste

Everyone: Such a waste!
Other Ulta Employee: *explains how they put back used items onto the shelf*
Everyone: how could you! Disgusting!

Its waste when they trow away unused make up
Marija Perkovic I was gonna say something about cross contaminationa
Marija Perkovic how would they know if it’s used or not, you don’t make sense.
ultra: resells returned make up
everyone: omg this is so unsafe
ultra: destroys returned make up
everyone: omg, this is so wasteful
maybe ultra is not the problem but people who return used make up are?
Yes!!!
But this goes with more than makeup!
If you are buying something make sure you want it! Make sure its the right one!
Or like was mentioned in the video, give to someone who would want it.
Some just can't be satisfied with anything others do 😂
it always amazed me that you can return anything in the US
People are
Yup you’re right. The problem is the stupidity of people
Most makeup and cosmetic products cost basically nothing to produce. There's not much "wasteful" about throwing it out and most of what the consumer pays is just markup since the margins on cosmetics tend to be enormous. For sanitary reasons, an open product needs to be discarded and it would cost far more to repackage it or clean it than it's worth.
I can believe that Loren didn't copy the drawing for herself and that the fanpage did it, but it's the fact that she just defended herself and didn't apologize.
