How to make a Glass PCB at home

- In this video, I’ll walk you through the entire process, from gathering materials to the final product.
We start by discussing the necessary materials, focusing on the importance of high-quality copper tape and a clean glass surface. We then move on to the preparation stage, where we clean the glass thoroughly and cut the copper tape to the required dimensions.
Next, we carefullyf apply the copper tape to the glass, ensuring it adheres well and is smooth without any air bubbles. We also cover how to create your desired circuit design on the glass using the copper tape.
Finally, I will demonstrate how to connect your electronic components to the copper tape to complete your PCB. I will also share some tips and tricks for troubleshooting common issues you might encounter during the process.

Items required:
Copper Tape (make sure it does not have conductive adhesive othervise it will not work):

10 cent MCU (CH32v003) +debugger:
amzn.to/49cpphv
s.click.aliexp...
iron cloride:
amzn.to/3I2ZKLY
Forgot to mention it the video. There are 2 types of copper tapes. One of them is the "regular" one, which has a non-conductive adhesive. The other type has "Conductive" adhesive. Do not use the conductive one, because that one will not work.
Wow thanks you made it look so easy
Well it is not that hard, as long as you do not fall into pitfalls that I shared in the video.
Genius
You gotta try some SMD LEDs and maybe frosting the glass for better diffraction? Awesome look tho, I love the thick slab style
Not a bad idea
Aha Türk aksanı. Güzel içerikler bro başarılar dilerim :)
cool
thanks
Wasn’t it safetyglass ? Can imagine that cutting is more difficult then.
Might be the case, since it was for a table.
Might have been a good idea to mention how sharp the edges of cut glass are, yes they slice like a razor blade.
Thanks for pointing this out. Indeet it was very sharp, and I used sand paper to make it "touchable"
Nice 🙂
Thanks 😋
@@makersfunduck I've got the feeling we will work together in the future.
I hope so!
💥🐉💫❤️🙏
i wish there was conductive toner ink then we could electroplate it further on plastic sheet
well, not toner ink, but conductive inks exist, the performance is not great though. But real problem is, plastic will melt during soldering
put a line of hotglue under your ruler!!
You might have a shitty glass cutter. I've used a couple and some make it feel easy and with others it's impossible to cut glass.
That might be the reason. It was a cheap glass cutter
First😂
Wow. that one was fast :)
@@makersfunduck i loved it.
@@makersfunduck is it possible to hack the epaper price tags in the store?
@@Kulderzipke123 it might be possible, by understanding the image transfer protocol, however I wont make a video about it because of it being in the gray area of ethicality. However you can ask store managers for "broken" units, or buy them from their suppliers, and reverse engineer those. You can check my previous videos.
