This game was actually on the 17th, not the 18th. The Pens were mad that Ovi pretty much took Chris Letang out on a no call on Ovi. I saw it as Ovi going after the pcuk and Letang sort of skating into the stick in mid swing. Refs didn't call a slash, or worse, and the Pens went mad for the game. And as usual for the type of fans that Pennsylvania sports clubs garner, the Pittsburgh fans poured beer over Ovi when he was on the bench. Caps ended up winning 3-1. But you never ever know what you are going to get from Ovi. That man knew exactly what he was doing laughing at them, making them more angry to get them even more out of their game. Other times, he would have put them on their asses. LMBO - But no matter what, if you don't admire Alex Ovechkin as one of the absolute best all around hockey players ever to hit the league you simply are prejudiced against the Caps.

As an explanation, the reason why the fans and the Penguins themselves were mad at Ovi is because he slashed Kris Letang (with BOTH OF HIS HANDS) causing him to injure himself and crash into the boards. Ovi wasn't penalized despite this clearly being a slashing penalty. This is why the Penguins were acting up, imo it was justified.
