The job of the captain isn't to play very good himself. Your performance as a player and your performance as a captain are two separate things. In all his wins, I would say Pat's contribution as a player were more than his contribution as a captain. Which is exactly why Jarrod pointed out that Pat is a better cricketer than Stokes. But you want to have a Ben Stokes in your team more just cause of who he is.
