- Well, I definitely did not expect this situation.
I flew from Islamabad to #Gilgit, the entryway to the magnificent Gilgit-Baltisan region of #Pakistan. In this part of Pakistan, you will find the convergence of three of the world's most incredible mountain ranges: Himalayas, Hindu Kush, and #Karakoram. Combined, these ranges contain the highest peaks in the world, and I'm here to see them.
Unfortunately for me, I flew from Islamabad to Gilgit, but my bag did not. I was left stranded in Gilgit for 4 days with no bags. So, we'll first take a spectacular flight to Gilgit and then do a little exploring in town, given all the extra time I have.
