The Elites entrance was fucking embarrassing they’re meant to be heels and they’re shooting hoops. Jim’s rant has me in tears but he’s right. Any AEW fan (I don’t mind it) thats shits on WWE for goofy shit cannot defend this. It’s embarrassing.
There is a good way to be fun and goofy this was not it and while I liked the match and am a fan of the dark order I have 3 issues 1 it took too long 2 they allowed stu greyson to land on his head if you are going together to catch the guy then catch him! Dude could have killed himself and 3 burying the the dark order and Adam Paige like that! I mean if you didn't want omega to take the pin ok but 1 of the bucks couldn't get pinned really? People are saying this is a slow build and long term story telling which is cool but it needs to be done well or folks won't care.

Pretty much everything AEW has done, Cornette did but worse. AEW is ribbing Cornette and you don't even notice it.

I missed this, is there anywhere I can see this ? AEW doesn't have a streaming service so we can look back at a show weeks later so how can we check out stuff Cornette points out that some of us, mainly me miss .
Imagine a match like this in the attitude era, Triple H & the Mean Street Posse vs Stone Cold Steve Austin & the Oddities
La Familia vs Batista, Funaki and whoever else was a match one time.

I've always been somewhat annoyed by the Young Bucks, while I've cut Kenny Omega some slack up to now. But after this buffoonery, I'm done with the Elite. Pretty much the only enjoyment I got from this bullshit was when Balding Buck missed that dunk. Serves 'em right.
Hangman Page deserves better than this, but it could be worse. He could be in Bray Wyatt's shoes... :(
Hangman’s still the next in line. Who would’ve thought danielson and punk would be in AEW. Page will have the title at the end of the year or beginning of 2022
The logic is that Hangman's momentum will be cooled down if gets the championship.

Honestly, in spite of all the trash going on at AEW, if I was WWE I would be looking at a couple of the guys and waiting for their contracts to run up. and Adam Page is one of those people I would be looking at if I were them.

Everyone that joined the cult was lost and ready to pledge for the sake of enlightenment/belonging. The only one that truly knew the real intentions was Brodie. It’s reasonable that they assumed the best in Brodie and are now trying to be good guys. Since they don’t have someone directing them to do bad things anymore. A lot of cults became religions like that.

With all the shameless promotion they've done, with space jam 2 and Rick and Morty, theyre are more sports entertainment than WWE, and as far as a sports based presentation goes, yeah a win-loss record at the bottom of a name bar isnt going to cut it, at least show a graphic of the wrestlers moving up and down in the rankings every week, maybe even bracket style, I want to see story lines about people getting suspended for cheating in a match or something, or maybe the championship changing hands on a disqualification, no it's just Tony Khan hiding behind sports entertainment spot fests playing wrestling with real life action figures. Its so annoying

I noticed that too but one thing I appreciate about their podcast is there’s no talking over each other. Brian will let Jim get everything out and will defer to him if he jumps back in. I’ll check out clips of Disco Inferno and Konnan’s podcast once in a while and it’s just Disco talking over everyone.

The Lakers vs Nuggets match was a fun match basically to get at the Nuggets owner and they were in LA. So they had a reason to do a match like that. This match here didnt do nothing... What was the reason.
They could have had Page go over...could have gotten the Dark Order/Bucks out of the way...and if they weren't ready for Page/Omega for the title....Hospitalize the guy. Beat down, put him on the shelf. Punk or Bryan come in...one of them goes over Omega and then you bring Page back in....triple threat. Page pins Omega so Punk or Bryan don't have to eat the pin.

But of course, you must think Omega and the Bucks booking of him pinning Hangman clean in the ring one two three to a one winged angel and also upstaging Hangman with wacky, babyface entrance to which they made Hangman go first, to be the best booking in the world.
When Bryan and Punk come in, this is only going to get more compliacted and bogged down. Christian is also rising up the ranks and has consistently won match after match and has been booked to be the Edge of AEW/Christan Cage TNA 2006.
Hangman should have went over. Of they feel they don't want to give him the belt, then they might as well screw him over and show that Kenny has serious doubts facing Hangman, not that Kenny can just overpower and outwrestle him when he truly puts his mind to it and is determined, which is what they showed with Kenny pinning Hangman. They should have also allowed Kenny to be eliminated way earlier and that Hangman pinned both of the Bucks at the end to win the match, therefore giving Kenny the ability to blame the Bucks for him having to face Page.
What they did in reality was far worse and even the corwd was frustrated with Hangman losing after all that buildup. Kenny, The Bucks and Cody always have to be loved by the fans no matter what and this sick, obsessive need to be over at all times, to always be in the right or have the narrative paint them as the heroes even when theyvare acting as villains is ridiculous and will drag AEW even further into the mud.
Justin, always with the triple threats, fatal four ways, six man scramble, eight man money in the bank cluster garbage matches, just get it over with and make every match on aew be a 60 man battle royal, have eight 40 man battle royals on every episode so we give everyone something to do and everyone gets a title whether they win or lose, use the same guys in every battle royal so no one feels left out and gets their feelings hurt

@@MattAlbie Your right, I shouldn't have used the word bury because like you pointed out, he fought off 3 guys, got hit with a belt and then pinned him with a finishing move, so they basically stacked the deck against the guy and they barely won. He should bring it up in his promo next week and that will get the crowd fired up. So, thank you for correcting my statement because I do know what the statement means and what it implies.

The heels did comedy mid-match to show that they consider the faces too far beneath them to even take seriously, and then they not just won but won with two guys left standing. The heels made a show of not taking the supposed top face seriously, and were effectively proven correct by winning comfortably anyway. Definitely can feel how much we're supposed to like Hangman now!

The Elite has ran through FTR, Moxley, Kingston, Jurassic Express, Hangman Page, SCU, MJF, Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz, and Death Triangle in various singles and tag matches and them look like chumps with all the bad comedy interferences from Cutler and Nakazawa. I started watching the show with barely any prior knowledge of the Young Bucks or Omega, but I have gotten really irritated by the blatant burials of other members of the roster.
Or they are just going to drag Punk and Bryan down into the same quagmire as everyone else there and rhey will be part time guys who stop caring.
