Please have a warning, that after 10 minutes of engine idling, the engine head, oil chamber might get extremely hot. First time DIY owners should practice caution.

Great video bro. Although I would like to add few tips to keep in mind for those who wants to do this yourself...
1) vehicle should be at level when draining oil
2) oil capacity of ritz diesel is 3.1L. first fill that and check level. you can always fill later
3) engine must first be run at idle and switched off and wait for 5mins before draining oil
4) drain plug is replaced every time its removed

My swift's oil filter cap is too tight. The 27mm socket keeps slipping. The workshops idiots have tightened it carelessly. Can something be done about it?

Go to shop and ask UFI maruti swift oil filter it's cost around 800 or 900 depending on your area. Thanks me later

Hi,
Got it online from Amazon at around 1500.
Ritz/swift oil capacity is 3.5 ltrs.
I change it after every 6-7000 kms. If you drive less then after 6 months.

Oil change frequency is almost same as both are diesel.
Oil capacity of Scorpio is 7 ltrs
