people might not like this because they like richarlison's personality/looks whatever, but the whole team look better with son as striker. he unlocks everyone else with link ups and passes so we get to maintain the high quality football we saw early in the season when we had the 10 win streak. i feel like if richarlison is striker, he gives away the ball too much much and has low passing accuracy and 0 vision to create chances (as 9), it would look like we play a random 'dirty' (as in not beautiful) mid table football just to feed cutbacks/crosses to richarlison. this resulted to us not being able to control the game as well as we did today and we would concede much more possession and counter attacks to opponents. notice that we'd be in the opponents half much more because of this and we would only let teams like arsenal/city to control the game with son as 9. the football we play today is the title contender tottenham u saw early in the season, and if u give son (as 9) + maddison some runs of games, they'll go back looking like our haaland and KDB again. pls ange dont fk this up and start richarlison again, that guy is good as plan b when the team fails to score vs low block for 60-70 minutes, then we can spam crosses to him. i can't imagine going up against arsenal/city/pool with richarlison up top. ange pls dont fk it up!!
Son is definitely better than richy but son always starts anyway so they aren't mutually exclusive, I think today was more of a product of the team just playing better in general. It's a bit harsh to say that was all down to richy not being striker. That being said I do prefer the werner/son/kulu front three.
@@Nath-sj5wl if i could show u some highlights of richarlison especially from brighton and wolves game, u would understand why the team plays better with son instead of him. richarlison can't pass/control the ball to save his life, no space creating movement, 0 vision/pass accuracy to link up/create chances for others. we have 80% possession today, total domination like u saw early in the season, hence the highly regarded 'ange ball'. if richarlison was here he'd give away so much possession which would lead to cheap counter attacks and us not being able to put a footing on the game. we would look like a midtable football with richarlison leading the line. he might have the more 'complete' profile as striker than son (aerial ability/box presence), but son's overall quality as a player just trumps over that.

My point was more that I think son contributes the same playing as left wing. He gets more touches and more opportunities to contribute. I think you should be comparing richy to Werner not son. Although like I said I don't disagree I think the Werner front 3 is better.
