@@dontchatbreezehe was good at Arsenal, he’s not a 30 goal a season striker but his link up play is exceptional, look at Benzema he was never rated highly by casuals because “stats” but once Ronaldo moved on and he didn’t just have to be his facilitator he was finally recognised by the masses.
Can't believe I'm saying this as an Arsenal fan, but I think leaving Arsenal was the best decision he's made in his career. He's pretty much won everything after that. Kudos to him. 👏👏👏

It's fascinating how Carra didn't actually say L or W like Giroud heard, from a legit phonetic POV, they just have different sound maps. Japanese speakers fail to distinguish L from R, and there's so many versions of both. Even between pretty related languages like English and French, the listener tends to convert what they're hearing into what they're familiar with.
Ashanti twi speakers in Ghana also have a pretty hard time distinguishing L from R too. Pretty interesting, didn't know the Japanese also had that.

@@Alex-ds6sw I get you, but it's all relative. There's no single "English R" as there are many accents in English, and there's no "actual R" either; Spanish for example, has 2 types of R.
It's not L per say, like the Asians do, but he probably meant 'rolling the r' like Latin speakers, and even Scots, do. What he should have said is "Jamie, i'm not Italian" (which he is 50% btw)
