This version feels like it just rocks harder than the og version. I definitely like the undertones of piano added in the background.

You know... I always wondered in the FFVII Universe Power Scaling who is stronger..is it Angeal or Genesis? I mean when it comes to Sephiroth the answer is clear but when we talk about Genesis and Angeal it always felt like they are equal (Genesis Avatar doesn't count because he used the Goddess Materia). But in opinion it has to be Angeal because he is the result of Project G the perfect result, which means because Genesis is a failure, Angeal has to be stronger. Anyway Zack beat the shit out of both, Genesis even two times.

⁠@@lookslikenik6931hard to say, because there still version of Genesis in Dirge of Cerberus a lot stronger than his in CC. When come to Zack beat both Angeal & Genesis, I think we can’t forget the context behind to completely judge.
Angeal doesn’t seem really go all out with Zack, even though he did transform but Angeal just very much want to died on Zack’s hand. With Genesis, the first fight with him was when he still in aging state so he was a lot weaker than his prime. The final fight with Genesis though, it’s seem similar to Angeal that he want to died so he can meet Goddess in Lifestream based on the cutscenes after the fight.

I think this fight was probably the first time i hesitated to attack for a few seconds. But something told me...
Maybe it's his last chance to redeem his honor...

one of the few I actually like in the remake. i find it hypnotising conpared to the original. the original is still better but sometimes the aggressiveness is a bit much, but its also the reason why i love it. sounds more upbeat i think this version
