    Don't know how I lived without this for so long! I make dog food for 2 of our dogs ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg (we have 5!) and it is so much quicker in this. Love having the inner pot stainless so I can use my immersion blender right in it without worrying about scratching. It makes potatoes great and fast! Still working on the vegetables, first time came out great, second time I did different ones and they were a little too mushy. Just need to adjust the time. I highly recommend this pot!!!

    You do a natural release when you have it really full of stuff (so you don't get food particles inside the vent) only do the quick release when it's less than 2/3 of the max cook line.

    I just got my instant pot not too long ago so I'm still trying to figure out recipes and how long to cook stuff. I looked up other pork tenderloin recipes and when I saw this one I had to try it. This is gonna be dinner tonight!

    Great instructional video … adorable intro by your son! We're still experimenting with our Instant Pot. I get confused with the timing on roasts. Most recipes that I've found recommend 15 min per pound. The last beef roast was still a little tough, but I don't know if that was because it was not cooked long enough or if it was overcooked. We're doing a pork butt roast today so we'll see how that turns out. Thanks again for a great vid!

      @RayBonis1  4 роки тому +1

      West_Nebraska_Dude we use the meat/stew setting which runs it around 55 min. Falls apart.

      @@RayBonis1 Thanks so much … we did a 4 pound roast for 90 minutes … too long but still great … next one we'll reduce time. Thanks again!

    Hi Ray, if you let the pressure cooker do a natural release of the pressure then let meat rest it will be more tender but it still looks delicious.

    I wish when people make these instant pot videos they'd call them instant pot instead of pressure cooker. I have both and believe me they're different in the way they cook food.

      Not a pro but given the pressure I don’t think there’s a huge difference.

  • @arcanum70

    Glad to see you using a stock to deglaze and cook with, too often people just use water instead of something that is going to actually bring flavor to the party (with pork I usually use apple juice or cider). Felt your knives pain every time it was slammed into that counter top though :(

    will try this one but I don't think it's a good idea to be chopping on your granite counter top. I wouldn't do it on mine for sure. Just say'in.. Thanks for the recipe.

    • @RayBonis1
      @RayBonis1  7 років тому +1

      Thanks for the comment. Curious as to why you wouldn't chop on the granite? Other than dulling your knives faster is there another issue? ( I'm aways looking to learn)

    Looks like veggie soup with pork loin. I bet that broth tasted fabulous tho. Little bit heavy on the liquid I'd say to be a roast..Boiled meat takes forever to get tender...Steam & pressure is the ticket. But it's all good.

    I have found that cooking pork loin in the oven for 4 hours on 250 works better the meat is more tender. no matter how you cook it in a pressure ooker its tough.

    • @RayBonis1
      @RayBonis1  6 років тому +3

      Imteresting. I recently discovered that longer is better in the pressure cooker. I usually did it for 20 min. After researching I now do it for 90 and it falls apart like you wouldn't believe. I still use the oven as well sometimes. Thanks for the feedback
