No disrespect intended, but really, how many multi-function tools is it necessary for you to carry?
Just one more... :) Haha, that's a fair question. I'm really kind of experimenting right now and I just started with what I had. I looked for the thing I didn't have yet (like an adjustable wrench) and if it came with other stuff that's fine even if they are redundant. Once it's deployed the extras (loke deivwe bits) can be useful. But yeah ultimately I'd aim for lighter weight and more efficiency. Maybe 2024. ;)
I’ve got the same sling but yeah I agree. That’s a lot of blades alone and all of that is weight. You’d be best to get rid of most of those blades and keep the Wave and maybe one other lightweight pocket knife. That said, you already have two blades on the Wave. Losing a lot of those bladed tool would shave a considerable amount of weight off your kit. Anyway, overall nice setup and thanks for the video!
Yeah no doubt. This isn't a final loadout video but more of a showcase of the bag. I rarely need all the features of any bag. :)
My idea of a smartwatch is one you don't have to charge
Or wind? Or change batteries? :)
Just wondering, what are the reasons behind having that many multitools? No disrespect intended but what goes on in your day to day that makes that viable instead of one like a surge or a wave, etc?
Mostly it's just because I moved the Leatherman from pocket to pouch carry and the other multitool was already in there. But if I got rid of it I wouldn't have a wrench or numerous driver bits. So the redundancy on blades/bottle opener type tools are all just extras that came with the two primary multitools.
EDC:
Wallet, keys, Cold Steel Voyager knife, H&K P90sk w/2 extra mags, phone. Pretty simple.
Simple is good especially with solid gear!
Same materials used with code of bell but not the magnetic fidlock
😂
Love the subtlety @6:09 If you know, you know.
Also, shoutout to AoM patch. Fight in the shade.
Molon Labe. ;)
I am #teamSling now too! I also like that you can still carry a backpack. Actually, the zpacks FUPA is something I tried for hiking-sling.
Nice. :) I have been thinking about adding a front pack to my hiking kit. This might be a good option, thanks!
Nice pack. +1
I like shoulder bags. I often sling a fanny pack across one shoulder, just because it is easier to use that way.
But having the two straps at different angles, like your bag, is really the best.
I seem to always need 6 liters, though. _Sigh._
Off topic, but I just discovered umbrella hats. Most comfortable hat I've got; only the elastic headband touches my head. These things should be much more popular. If enough people start wearing them, they will become stylish. At least among hikers and backpackers. :)
It's a single strap but they connect it with a twist so when it gets behind you it lays flat. Pretty cool!
I hear you on the umbrella hats - too bad so many hikers still are so concerned about looking cool rather than getting gear that works best!
I think I saw a Tactical Wisdom patch, thats a gret blog
I don't remember where I got them but I'll check out the blog!
Brand new subscriber love the video can’t wait to watch more of you
Thank you!
Thank
I like that watch!
I didn't really expect much but it's actually pretty cool!
