- Today, I begin a series on my channel called "Voice Over 101." This is in partnership with fellow VIP UA-cam creator Sam from the Blind Spot (link below). In this series, we go though different functions of the screen reading software for iOS known as Voice Over. In this one, I discuss the Rotor - what it is and why it's great! Enjoy!

Hey! Thank you so much for this video. I just got an iPhone about three weeks ago and have still been learning how to use it. I’ve been curious about the rotor and haven’t started using it but this video is very helpful and gave me some great tips. I’m really enjoying all of your videos, keep up the great work! One Question though, what if I don't use IOS products? I use PC Windows products. Is IOS better for a blind person? I heard that it was before, but tried and had a really hard time trying to get use to it. I have used PCs for so long now that I guess it is ingrained in my mind now.
Hi how do you go bank to a previous action ie if I go into message and then to contacts I don't know how to go back to the previous action. I've am iPhone 5 and use the voice over mode thank you. Ps this video is gelling me a lot
Could you please do a video on using VO on the Mac desktop. I turn on VO and go to what I want read and it says the item has a keyboard focus. I do wha it says but can not get VO to read anything. Thank you.
In the routers… There's a feature called containers! What exactly is containers? And what does it do?

haha yeah I don't really say that anymore on my videos. But, I don't get too caught up in words like "see", "saw" and "look". Not a big deal. Plus, sighted people do watch the channel as well! Anyway...thanks for the comment :)
Life After Sight Loss I work with deaf people and I know how it’s hard not to use some words. Your video was very helpful though.
Has anyone figured out how to block caller using voiceover?
B K Mcg you can do this in the phone app. Go to your recent calls.Tap on the number that you want to block. Swipe up until you hear more actions and double tap. Then swipe right until you hear block contact. It's towards the bottom. Hope that helps.

i am a vip i have found out you can not scroll on your iphone with voice over on.
You can scroll with a three finger gesture. Swipe up and down, left and right with three fingers and that will allow you to scroll. Hope that helps!
