This video was good, I would like to see another video where you compare the Somewhat expensive Blenders like the Ninja Blender with 2 blades and other blenders, also their Blending Capabilities.
"It smells a little weird" That would be the toxic fluoride gas being emitted from the pulverized battery, Tyler. (I did some more research and it is described in most places as "an acute poison that can permanently damage lungs and eyes")
They used the “Wild-side” jar in the will it blend videos. It is a larger jar that has an offset 5th side which helps redirect debris back into the blade. The normal jar works fine for a lot of things but the wild side jar is better for bulk things like what they typically would blend in the videos. Also blend tech jars have a self lubricating blade bearing and you are supposed to rotate them a few rotations with your finger or a utensil before you run them in the blender.
Slightly scary watching you open the blender with all those fine powdered toxic funzies floating about as you cough "It has a wierd smell to it" .. stuggles to breath "it has a really strong smell"
The plastic of the glowsticks has to be thick and tough because when you crack one to make it glow, you are breaking a glass vial inside which allows to chemicals to mix and react, giving the glow. The glass is sharp (obviously) so the outside needs to be such that it can't easily be punctured.
Yeahhh i was gonna comment this! It needs to be tough so that its hard to puncture and spill the contents all over yourself lmao. Since its primarily made for children.
A few ideas for what to blend next… - Gloves - pickles - month old eggs, milk, ect - Tyres (cut to size to fit in blender) - chewy sweets - Jenga blocks - match sticks and strikers (may want to do this one outside under controlled conditions)
@@givowo I'd be curious as well, but I wouldn't see how except at the very top where it might crack around the steel guide rod. I own one and that's the only real weak point I see with it, but not during normal use.
This has been done by multiple people. The ninja doesn’t have near the raw power to compete. The blend tecs we’re all originally only commercial grade blenders.
I think the biggest thing to remember is those old videos had a brand spanking new blender each and every episode, it may be strong and those blades sharp, but there’s only so much battered metal can do against things like golf balls repeatedly smashing into it.
@@ku7342 it would not surprise if quality dipped as well, like you said…in all things lately. Plus I don’t see them tout how amazing their blenders are anymore like they used to, so they be of lesser build quality nowadays

These things are high quality. The blades aren't sharp at all, in fact they are blunt, and just use pure force to blend. These blenders are no joke.

the videos from what I remember reading were actually real and I've always wanted to see someone test that lol. If you watch around 24:45 to 24:47 you'll see that there was actually a small fireball/explosion
Also, I'd like to point out that the Blendtec blender he always used in the videos -I think- was the WILDSIDE commercial version. It may have a stronger motor than the regular consumer version, Idk.
The lighters didn't break the glass, the ratchet strap did. That vertical force was too much for the curve at the bottom. It just took a few cycles to stress it into fracturing.
I’m absolutely amazed that he didn’t blow himself up with that one. One spark and that bomb would have sent glass shards flying off in all directions. 😂
I showed my mom their videos and she bought one. We had it for almost 10 years before the jar seal started to leak. It counts how many times you use it, we used it about 5,000 times and only have the one jar. Highly recommend Blendtec blenders.

Every time he does a video like this, I have to remind myself over and over again that if he'd died while making it, it never would have been posted. If I'm watching it, it probably means he's fine.
Some of the actual lithium double a batteries would be fun cause instead of just lithium ion like in the phone battery it has metallic lithium that likes to violently catch fire if you accidentally short the layers

I was literally just this past day ago talking to Mrs about the good old days of UA-cam and this was one of them. Will it blend. You need to make your own version and go with it. **Iphone dust, Don't breathe that**
So what you were saying with the second blender not actually doing anything to the phone except for when the blades were speeding up or slowing down is actually the primary selling point of a Blendtec blender, basically the way they have their blades setup for the Blendtec makes it so that doesn't happen and allows for a far more even blend as things don't get stuck up at the top or bottom
Such a great video man! I didnt want it to end lmao. Different colored glowsticks would be cool to see, and see how they mix. I know you and everyone else, including me, were expecting the lighters to catch on fire so it was a tad disappointing. Someone commented and mentioned batteries....? Would probably work but Idk if i want you to do that though bc those fumes would be real nasty. Thing is iPhone 4 has metal rear and is substantially smaller so it can wedge itself in unreachable spots. If you put an iPhone 13 in the oster blender it’d probably do similar or at least a lot better than it did with the iPhone 4
You should blend Spark Plugs. That would be very interesting
Well he'd shatter the blender pretty quickly if it's glass!
