Backcountry Bass Fishing

In this video I do a 10-11 mile round trip day hike to catch some bass. The lake is in the serenova tract which is in Pasco County FL. If you listen closely you can hear construction on the new highway which is very close to this lake.

The bass definitely seem stunted. I'm sure not many are taken to eat, but it would probably be a good thing to do.

No way many are taken to eat. You can only get there by hiking 5 miles and the trails aren't on the map. I found this spot on Google earth. I have camped out there but eventually found out I wasn't supposed to. Haha. When I did camp at the lake, I would catch and cook one.

@@tampajimmie11 yes. I made it back there once for a day trip and did a catch and cook for one of the fish I caught. I guess a small soft sided cooler could be carried back there. That would probably not be too much of a hassle to hike out with. Or better yet on bike.
