Yo, keep picking up the camera casually like this. We're all here for it. Uou have 10s of thousands of people interested in your content, money sucks, glad you're getting it done buddy
Came here to say this. Vin, formerly of hoonigan has been uploading these very casual vlog type videos once a week and I love them. Love to see you Emilio!
Today is going to be a good one. I woke up, sun is shining and Emilio dropped a video. Let's go man! Yo we are grateful you are letting us in your world. Keep us posted.
I've been in the auto paint industry for almost 2 decades. Learn to tint your sealer to the correct "gray tone" for whatever color you are spraying. Using this technique will speed up your process while using less color. Less time in the booth flags more hours. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I'm very familiar with the products that you used.
Quick tip on your blends. Get some clear base(no tint) to wet out the blend area before spraying the basecoat. This gives the base something to wet into and will avoid the dry blend or "flare" look
Experienced painter advice for ya. Tip for the future. Paint from front to back towards the filters. Less dirt and orange peel cuz the overspray never touches fresh paint. Overspray sucked away from previously sprayed panels. Kick ass bro
Another tip for catching dirt/ debris is to spray a light coat of water on the ground (not on the vehicle) as long as you have a good air system/ filtration in the booth. Contaminants fall and the water traps them
Considering you just want to make content for fun and not be too serious about it, can’t hurt to just turn the camera on and go. You got a lot of OG fans that’ll watch no matter what you do. Much love ❤
Thats right you can never over prep or over clean, thats 90 percent of the job, also the most critical. Keep up the awesome work my friend and keep learning something new everyday!!!
Just a tip bro, when you spray your sealer, cover your clean blend panels. Then pull the paper off and do a small blend on the edge, give it a sec and spray some blender on your sealer edge to melt it in (followed by a tack cloth when dry). This will reduce overspray on your clean panels and a super clean transition on your blends.
Hell yeah! Definitely get a paint booth in your shop. You can probably hire one of the body guys for a side hustle. Pain under the table for some body work for your own clients
You did an awesome job painting that car. It looks awesome from what I Sean done.glad to see you're doing well. It's good to see you working away on something. Cool video. It would be awesome to see more of this kind d of video from you.
DAMMMM!!!!! We need more of these that thang was sleek sleek sleek. Awesome content. I hardly ever watch entire videos and this one made me watch till the end and what a great result.
Great job Emillo ! You've got a natural flow with the way you handle the gun. Love those Sata guns one of,if not the best out there. Great to see your good, love the vid ! ,keep them coming
Looking good. But the hvlp is more of a base gun. The new Harbour freight black widow are a pretty good gun for the money. I picked up there 1.7hvlp and was pretty impressed. Sprays primer nicer than the my sata 100 1.6
Bro you laying paint down like you’ve been doin this! good work brotha only little tip put paper down close to your area so you don’t get the flutter of plastic releasing dirt in the air
As a classic alfa mechanic, I always loved the look of these cars and the new ones still hold up to me, great stuff man 👍 you should get your own 24v 164S
Awesome content. I think most people would be scared to watch what I do because I'm on roofs all day doing chimney repair and tuckpointing 😮 I did some work at step-dads body shop when I was a kid, sanding, priming, taping things up. Right now mom's old PT cruiser she left us is at the body shop getting the rear repaired and painted after some random dude in a tow truck rammed it while it was parked and drove off. He must have thought it belonged to somebody he hated. Insurance totalled it because it was too much money to fix it, we bought it back and made a deal with the shop to do most of the critical repairs and paint. We'll be paying about a extra grand over the settlement we got and it only has just over 60k on it and is sentimental for us being moms last car she got new and hardly drove. Brings back memories of doing the prep when I was a kid and a good job and skills to have.
Brother keep them coming..... We miss seeing anything that has to do with you or the family. I will watch anything you put out, we will get you were you need to be. Just keep dropping content.
Good to see ya Emilio! Nice work! I would've used a 4.0 tip @120 psi with a 3 gallon pressure pot, but that's just me. Been doin it that way for 130 years! 😂
Not here to bash u 1 recommendation I have is just make sure ur always chasing that wet edge so u don't go wet on some that's flashed over but looks good
I like this I used to do all that a long time ago I got really good at painting but was in the early 90 love to know more about the paint because it has changed so since I did it ❤❤❤❤
looks good, that clear coat gonna last forever she went on thick!. Keep it up, i live anything automotive related, doesn't have to be fast cars all the time, this stuff is a great change of pace. Luv ya homie
Brother. Your a authentic guy. Wed watch you do anything lol This was a awesome video tho. Dont see enough relatable guys doing paint work on here so keep it up
Bout time brother!!! I was just thinking bout you this morning, wondering where you been!!! Glad to see the video and hear from you. Til next time, stay safe my brother, and tell Ricky I said whats up!!
Good to see you are doing good bro! Always a pleasure watching your videos, should they come every week or few months apart. Love the content, we got you bro!
Awesome video as always. Would love to see some videos about cleaning the guns. Whats a good beginner gun vs pro gun. Also, instead of talking into the camera in the booth. Do a voice over at your computer and play some of the stock music UA-cam provides. You can also speed up the video. I’ve always been interested in painting cars and would love to learn more and how to start. Big ups bro! Good to see you back.

One of the reasons I watched boosted bois channel is because of you!!! We are here my man!
Yeah! FUCK Kyle! Charlie and welder guy was the one that got me interested
Daily day to day content it always good ! Just keep posting EMILIO! We are here to watch Brother !
Experienced painter advice for ya. Tip for the future. Paint from front to back towards the filters. Less dirt and orange peel cuz the overspray never touches fresh paint. Overspray sucked away from previously sprayed panels. Kick ass bro
If you look at the spray drift, its going to the front anyway. Looks like the filters are in the corners at the front, good spotting though!
I think I just realized why my friend always had orange spray when he sprays lol
Thank you for this comment!
Thanks for the advice . Makes sense .

Nice work though bro, keep it up!
Wet bed on the sealer edges where you are going to be blending the base always helps get the sealer fuzzies to lay down
loved it
