Hey Everyone! I am finally getting around to giving you a house tour of our newest house in Merida, Mexico!
Although, we picked the older 8 bedroom home on House Hunters International, we ended up eventually getting a brand new home. It looks like my teens got what they wanted afterall!
Rentals in Merida vary. I have friends whose rent is as low as $75 to as high as $1500. There are tons of factors that go in it but the overall cost of living in Merida, Mexico is pretty affordable for expats.
If you need a home finding expert, contact Barbara Blanco from Merida Moves.

Yup! I live near Oakland Ca. and it would definitely be 5,000. Especially because it's new and you wouldn't even have to be in a nice location. They slap these nice condos in the middle of the worst places. Gentrification at it's finest.

It might seem more affordable from USA perspective. But Mexico Mortgage interest is high.

I recommend you gradually leave the AC. Since it makes your immune system weak. Instead when you train your body to adapt to any weather. You won't even notice the heat. I live in the south west. close to arizona and i have never turned on the ac. I have never been sick either. But my neighbors and friends. They live enslaved to the ac and heater. They are always sick from anything. They also pay a fortune for the bills. while I. I'm always happy
