- This 10 minute yoga for hips class will help to relieve tension within the lower body and increase flexibility through deeply stretching the hips.
These hip stretches are in the style of yin yoga so they will be held for a little longer than you may be used to. Feel free to modify using pillows so you don't over stretch.
This class is a great addition your routine to help maintain overall health and wellbeing.

I'm focusing on deep somatic work to heal from trauma. 1 week of practising this 10 mins stretches and I can see so much change in my headspace. cried the first time, but day 2 onwards I felt so calm and centred. thank you for this video, thank you for taking time to help others. love and light xo S

Hi Bird, I so appreciate your yoga flows. For those of us who are truly inflexible, what modifications or substitutions would you recommend for the "90/90" pose at 0:55 if one can't sit up in this position? A block under the hip? Something else? And for "happy baby" where one can't reach toes, shins, or the back of the legs. Any recommendations? Legs up the wall? Something else? Cheers!

I didn't feel any of these stretches in my hips. More so in my side body. Are you sure you have the right title for this video?
Hi Stacy! Every body is different and will feel certain poses differently. For example Some hamstring stretches I will feel in my back instead of my hammies. It all depends on where your holding tension, your flexibility in certain areas, mobility and proper alignment. Hope this makes more sense. Perhaps you may want to try deeper stretches that are more advanced if you feel like these stretches aren’t enough for you.
