- Paratroopers have been using eyes in the sky make their mortar teams more effective as well as practise the art of concealment.
Exercise Black Strike used the Castlemartin and Sennybridge training areas in Wales, so that troops could adapt their training to the challenges of operating in built-up areas.

My late father served in 2 Para Patrol Platoon, he later became a light support weapons, mortar and Milan anti tank instructor.
He knew his stuff .

@@ancientmachine9070 a direction is in mils yeah, adjustments are in metres. The HE round has a lethal area of 40m, adjustments are in 10s or 5s

Great idea covering the rounds in bricks. Why didn't u use the dumpy bag to conceal them under instead of demolishing a brick pile every time. Or even use that tin sheeting

@@JammyDodger45 Britan has no permanent air defences and limited fighter aircraft. The UK are susceptible to large scale missle attacks/ Air attacks like the ones conducted on the first days of war in Ukraine. You also have no early warning radar aircraft leading to a lack of forward intel on incoming attacks. The biggest thing going for the Brits is there Navy but unfortunately they would too get caught in an anti missle and aircraft roll instead of performing other combat duties. Mobile AA units for missle defence and air defence take time to set up and that is time you do not have in modern combat. major British ports factorys and energy production sites would be obliterated and the lack of ports would leave the UK with 3 days roughly worth of food. Brits have good tech but not enough and not in the right places.

The Paras aren't responsible for the refugees coming into UK. That would be the border agency and the navy.
