Pete Hunt remembers his excitement when he, a newly graduated engineer, was hired at Facebook (now Meta), and just two weeks into the job, he pushed a bug that ended up on TechCrunch’s front page.

Not too bad. We once pushed a bug that updated millions of users certain phone numbers. Imagine getting hundreds of calls on your phone for random unknown people
