    My Motor Goat V3 showed up with enough time to mostly assemble it before work today. I like everything about it except for the cheap mirrors they included. I've got some better ones ordered and this weekend I will get the bigger chainring installed. I was shocked by how fast the bike launches from a stop. This weekend when I have time to play with the settings, I am going to take some of that out. So far, I am really glad you talked me into buying it. The build quality is outstanding.

    • @IMBruceECLECTIC
      @IMBruceECLECTIC  Місяць тому

      Congratulations!! I am happy for you!! Yes...it is quick and fast enough for most people. ha ha ha...when I made one of my first reviews....the number 1 issue...the mirrors suck and I threw them in the trash can in the video.... Feel free to ask me anything, my launch setting was set to max and I set her up with 5 PAS settings until I started using bike trails and then I did 9 PAS to keep speed lower. Feel free to ask any questions.

    Great vid mate,
    Was nice meeting Terry, but I'll say this, when you're conversing with someone else you need to be closer to them so we can hear what they are saying better - as you're mic'd up, but they aren't so it can be tricky at times to hear what somebody else you're talking to is actually saying...
    Nice of him to feed the 🐦 birds Bruce.
    All the best from across the pond.

    • @IMBruceECLECTIC
      @IMBruceECLECTIC  Місяць тому +2

      Thanks Mate. Yes....you are correct. BUT....strangers do not want you to come right up on them nor stick a microphone in their face. With Terry I could have done that after a few minutes...the microphone allows you to adjust the sound pick-up and amplification....I will try and remember to do that as that would be less intrusive. If I was a smart....I could buy a second microphone and have that "tuned" for higher amplification and use only when talking to people....will investigate that.... Thank you!

    When they release water at a dam, it stirs up food in river. Fish start feeding. Current good for fishing. 🐬

    OK Bruce - we gotta do this trail together sometime (seriously), could this trail go up to a 15-25 mile run? Looks like a great trail with loads of scenery there along with the river features to enjoy with others too.

    • @IMBruceECLECTIC
      @IMBruceECLECTIC  Місяць тому +1

      Sounds like a plan....I am not sure how far....BUT there is a single track section along the river...I have not done it....I just noticed it in this trip. Did you hear me say my favorite rides are groomed trails and roads....? ha ha ha.... When I watch you and Steve and your brother....I think to myself "I could never keep up." I think this can go all the way down to the Lapidum Boat Launch. I thought our first trip was going to be nice and "gentle" fire roads at Liberty.... :)

    • @ActiveJoe
      @ActiveJoe Місяць тому

      @IMBruceECLECTIC The fire roads at Liberty are a bit overgrown with weeds now, but should be good later this fall. We could do the Chevy trail in Woodstock anytime though along with this riverside trail. Funny I was thinking I may not be able to keep up with you as I'm only going 8-15 mph on back trails. Let me know anytime you'd like to go.

      @@ActiveJoe ...ha ha ha...I don't ride fast on trails....how many miles is the Chevy Trail? AND is it narrow and technical...? And do you prefer weekday or weekend?

    • @ActiveJoe
      @ActiveJoe Місяць тому

      @@IMBruceECLECTICChevy trail is between 6-10 miles (1-2 hours) not including other nearby trails. Most anyday is good for me, but Steve and brother Chuck only do weekends.
