  • Check out this Thule double bike rack that my family just got! Perfect for heavy e-bikes. Simple to install and even more simple to use!
The rack weighs 45 lbs, so just about anyone can roll it out and attach it to their vehicle hitch. Coolest thing about it is that it can flip down to allow trunk access!!

What I REALLY want to see is someone fitting two e-bikes to this Thule EZ Fold rack. Not sure the 2 clamp arms as supplied will function because the only way I’ve fitted two analogue bikes is with the inside bike clamped to the downtube (which on an ebike is wider than the opening of the clamp). I have this carrier and 2 Trek Powerfly e-bikes on order … and I’m worried!

Hi! This is my parents’ rack but I can attest to them putting two e-bikes on it. They bought the rack for this reason, so they could get 2 bikes out to the trails they ride on. They actually only ever use it for loading 2 bikes at a time since they always go riding together. I should’ve filmed both bikes on it for this video! Next time!

@@SamPlusElizabeth thanks for this, I’ll let you know how I get on when the bikes arrive. Like your parents, my wife and I always cycle together.

And yes! I can fit two Trek Powerfly eMTBs on a Thule EZFold XT carrier, phew!. My XL goes on first (facing right) followed by my wife’s S (facing left). The trick is to position the clamp arms on the vertical sides of the carrier bar, not the top, and to clamp the seat tubes of the bikes. Hope this helps, cheers, Phil.
