As someone who grew up reading L.A. style graffiti I can tell you that I have a really hard time understanding this hand style. I'm not being a dick when I say that I don't find it aesthetically appealing. I will say, however, that it intrigues me and I will continue to study it in the hopes that I will have a better understanding of it in the future.

I wish philly writers did more simple, legible hands. The fat cap makes it hard to see the techniques in the wickets. Plus, to be completely honest, it's redundant as hell being in philly and seeing "philly styles". Shoba is good, you def need skill to pull off a philly style, but damn does it get tiring. I'm sure the old heads would love to see a new cat come in the game with something ain't nobody ever seen before, period!

Theres is another style in philly that's more simple... and the fat caps arent used too often in philly.. he was using montana cans in the vid that come already with cap... dont get it fucked up every style you see in philly is usually done with a stock cap on the can... philly #1 bro gotta give it to them

@@youngudai9023 urban development killed Philly Graff. In the 80s they had 100s of writers 90s too. Differences between then and now is the waterfront was dead, no casinos, clubs didn't open Sun-Thu, northern libs, fishtown and Olde city was dead til Friday night. It used to be a Ghost town from 8-9 o'clock til the morning time. Fri n Sat was the only popping nights. Now there's something for everyone 7 nights q week.
