Back in 1999 I worked at a ship yard in Boston and the owners nephew who was visiting for the summer was given a job for a few months there, I worked with the kid and he was from Cali I seen him one day at lunch drawing in a blackbook and being a writer my self I checked out his book and he was writing AIDZ, I really hope that this is the same kid.

dont think it matters imo. We dont have gang tags for gangs to mark their "territory" in finland, but i see it as the lowest form of graff. If it really does bother them just tag over the aids throwie? Its not like they practice handstyles:p
only matters if they catch him slippin in action. i like gang tags personally; in LA they're highly stylized and often emulated in the graff writing world, but I know where you're coming from. They definitely are not doing it as an artistic endeavor
