Great demonstration of the EZ Boardwalk JR entry level sawmill. As a result of your video, I have a serious interest with the EZ Boardwalk sawmill. The price and quality are exactly what I'm looking for.

That's a great demonstration. We haven't had too many 30 inchers so it's possible this one is gonna be good for us.

Great comparison video. I think you hit all the bases on the main differences between the two.

Log diameter is one thing, and 2 ft diameter is very respectable most of the time, but length is another huge factor. Gotta be able to take 16 footers to be practical in my opinion.

Great video, thank you for the detailed review of the Easy Boardwalk Junior! It was interesting to learn about the differences between this sawmill and the 40 model. Do you think it's worth investing in the extra power if sawing is only occasional? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

I have an OS18 I'm working on getting setup.
Chinese made so has the the usual minor hiccups. Nothing I can't fix.
Cost me $2505 on a Fathers Day Sale with another track extension. and $199 Shipping.
Right now it is $2197 plus $199 shipping.

Whoa! Staton updated his website! I bought an EZB Model 40 as well but I got the IGX 800 upgrade. Those Hondas are sweet little engines.

keep in mind people want to hear the motor while cutting extra. fast forwarding threw it is not a good sale tactic. do some cuts at regular speed. 9 degree blades works better on beach.

I'd be curious for a side by side comparison. Maybe two similar sized 12" trees, same species. Cut them up on both saw mills. How long it takes. How good the end product looks. How much gas was used.

I'm just wondering - probably a dumb thought - could you cut your firewood on that saw - cut in wedges, & then use your chainsaw to cut the wedges in pieces & have firewood without using the splitter?? No clue why I even thought of that - seems like it'd be fast firewood & another good use for that saw. Great video, as always. God bless y'all! 🙏🥰👍

Man, at that price I'd be looking at Woodland Mills. That's more than I paid for my HM130MAX, and the 130 is a better machine.

I've got the HM130MAX and it's a great machine. I've made 29.5" slabs with it. Lots of value in that machine. The EZ boardwalk was on my list but $$ was a huge factor and the 130max is tough to beat.

I have to ask I have watched your pond videos don't you think it would have been better and cheaper to have lined the pond with a rubber liner right from the beginning. I used to do a fire inspection on 2 rubber lined pondes for a manufacturing facility that had no municipal water supply for fire fighting they had to have their own as a scuba diver I had to go into the ponds to make sure nothing was blocking the pipes and sometimes it could have been a problem. the down side is it is very slippery I always had to have a rope system to get me back out safety around your pond I am sure is a high priority

Hey Adam…. NIce demo. Unrelated question and apologies if you have addressed this in the past, but just wondering about that old barn structure on your driveway. Is that yours, do you use it? Any plans for it in the future? I am an old barn fan from way back.

Nice equipment shed. I emailed you from my real email at outlook to offer you a South Carolina Flag.
With that nice shed, it's time to start hanging Flags from out of State viewers and subscribers.
    You didn't respond. Yet.

I don’t like that they are stretching the quoted diameter capacity to be more enticing to customers. IMO that’s just lying if it can’t do it every day comfortably.

  • @QuercusAlba01

Beech has high btu & is hard, better for firewood
Softer hardwoods & softwoods are best for lumber & building

Scuffs! Really? I grew up in a 200 year old farm house made out of oak timber and bricks. It will probably last another 200 years.

None of these types of mills are worth the price they want. It's cheaper to take your logs to someone and have them saw them for you. I've been down this road and it's just not economical. If a person wants to do it as a hobby then that's a choice, but to do it to save money, not a chance.

Why the "royal we"? I'm not trying to be negative or critical. It can be distracting, though
