I typically don't mess with items. I may clean stuff up or maybe gun oil for firearms and bayonets but I never treat leather. In the long run it probably just makes it deteriorate faster
@@rockinghammilitaryantiques3884 ko cho line is a great product for leather, and it wears off. but many collectors dont like to mess with stuff. and it depends on the item, but i am kinda an advocate for leather rehabilitation
Do you ever add some linseed oil to the leather just to preserve it and gun oil on the bayonets? Or you like to leave them salty?
