Thanks for this video. Mine came apart last night and I was ready to junk it. The main ribbon was detached but clicked back into place easily. Some super glue and now back together and working as always.

I think this is one of the best Samsung tablets... for the quality, the screen... the magnetic cover, but this glue is horrible. Mine went to an authorized service center about 6 months ago and the glue came loose again. I bought some glue and did the same as your video, and now I have a great tablet again.

thank you very much for this video,i was able to repair my beloved s5e for just 3 euros....samsung really made a mistake by creating such a good tablet for that price, and for sure they didnt repeated it ;-)

Thank you. My tablet screen parted late the other night in the dark when I was trying to turn it off. There was a pop and a flash. In a panic I put it in the green house in case it was shorting an maybe catch on fire. After watching your video I have re-examined. It is an identical tablt and the glue has gone soft. The flat ribbon cable is parted frm the screen. I just pressed it into its socket and the tablet is working 100%. The pop and flash must have been the cable disconnecting from the screen. It needs cleaning off and regluing. Samsung must be aware of this defect with their product and is their any replacement glue offered, or, repair shops where it can be fixed. I have not had the tablet much more than a couple of years and so because of the name and price expect a better build quality, and reason why I bought this one as a replacement for my old Nexus 10 which by the way is still working. Has anyone spoken to Sansung?

Good afternoon Sir, how are you doing? My Samsung S5e screen started to detach, at the moment only the top part of the screen came loose, I wanted to take the screen off to replace the glue, but I'm afraid the screen might break during the process cause the glue seems to be still holding tight on the rest of the screen. Any tips on how to proceed? Would using a hair dryer on hot be enough to soften the glue? Thank you.

Very Good Afternoon Sir, I am fine, thank you,
yes sir, you can heat the device using hair dryer and cutting the glue using a plastic spudger or a thin guitar plectrum( Do not insert the tool too much inside as it may damage parts, cables or flex cables, just use it to separate the glue on the edges), please see that you do not apply too much force. Or you can refer a video that shows how to replace screen.
But after removing the screen please clean the old adhesive on both the surfaces or else the screen will detach again after few days...
      Hope this would be helpful.
      Thank you, have a GOODTIME
