    Sometimes you have to make a stand while maintaining love. Sounds like they need an adjustment to their attitude and some prayer. Another of many reasons I would never live in a neighborhood. Country living!! God bless Sam and keep up a great ministry.

      @tristardiggin  Місяць тому +3

      Ralph that is exactly right, no subdivision for me. Wow, I wouldn’t be able to handle asking permission from a group of folks to do things on my property. Country living is where it’s at. It’s interesting that I have never heard anyone say “ oh we have a great HOA and they are easy to work with”.🤣🤣🤣

    Thank you for sharing; brother Sam I respect how you’re consistently showing persistence breaks resistance and it’s always difficult when you’re confronted by someone who seems to take your kindness for weakness. Those situations are always tough ones😅

      Thanks Allon, yeah situation like that will test your patience for sure! I’m hoping to get to the point that I can just set and listen to a feller mouth off and just let it roll off. Whew, that is tough to do for sure…

    First of all, I absolutely liked your message. Earthly nature is to feed back what you're getting. I can't point any fingers at you on this without having at least 3 pointing back at me. As I heard a wise old fellow say, "You can always tell a man who's walking up to you with the intent of starting an argument. But you can't tell him much, so just go on about your business and let him run out of air first."
    Life's full of people like that.
    Now, about fixing the Hog's parking brake. Having less intuitive mechanical skills than a tree stump, I still admire your willingness to try to repair stuff. I can get more done if I just strap some C4 to something that's broke. Whole lot less big pieces to clear out of the way after hours of non-fixes.

    • @tristardiggin
      @tristardiggin  Місяць тому +1

      Randy that is right, the tendency is to lash out for sure! I’m not sure this guy was going to run out of air.🤣🤣🤣
      Sometimes I would like to use a bit of that C4 as well. 🤣

    First time I've ever heard that type of wrench called a fit-all but that makes a lot of sense, round here we call them crescent or adjustable wrenches. An old-timer once told me at when I was complaining about stress that it wasn't stress that will hurt ya but rather how you choose to respond to it. Great message and great video.

    • @tristardiggin

    Hello, I enjoy all your videos. Just a thought about the pads for the brakes.What about getting a piece of brake lining the correct width and then you can purchase the length . It might take some doing to get the old lining off if there are no rivets in it, you can always drill and then countersink your brake lining using brass rivets. If you know of a machine shop, they might be willing to help you with that at a reasonable cost or you can try it yourself. Before trucking I used to work at a machine shop, rebuilding engines doing brake lines etc. etc. just a thought God bless you keep pushing that dirt.🤠

    Here in upstate NY we use that lanolin spray on the frames of our trucks and trailers because of the calcium chloride they spread on the road which causes things to rust.. I never thought of using it on my load binders. I’m going to give that a try lol, thanks Sam.

    We are all human and make mistakes. I can tell you right now that if someone approaches me in a civil manner, I will definitely reciprocate. Also, if they come at me like a bull, I'll probably also reciprocate. As hard as I try not to, if the behavior persists for a length of time, my temper will eventually get the best of me. I hate being that way and I wish I could be more Christ-like when it comes to stuff like that. After all, the Bible does say blessed is the peace maker. I guess my life growing up and my former career has made me that way, but I'm supposed to know better.

      Yup ole Dirt Boss gets a good bit of parts from them. I did get some brake pads from them for this job, in the first video, but I wasn’t clear when I ordered them and I got pads for the axles. I did check back in the parking brake pads and they weren’t able to get them…

      @@tristardiggin 10/4 brother. I certainly enjoyed the massage as always ,but this one was hit a little bit different. I’ve noticed in my own walk, the last 2/3 years my patients have gotten a lot shorter and the day to day battle with this ol flesh has gotten rough, but all glory to Our King, Lord and savior Jesus Christ of that amazing Grace that placed us in His righteousness. On top of that it’s a free gift blows my mind. keep preaching and spreading the gospel of truth God Bless you and all my brothers and sisters out there in Jesus Christ.

    Great job Sam. It's always good when the job in progress is a success. Amen to the message as I've states before I am targeted by what I call Govt. GANGSTERS. They have done many things to harm me. I used to say I am a victim now I proclaim I am a testimony against these. A scripture that I used to struggle to understand, " Jesus said take up your cross and follow me, now I know exactly what that means. Keep up the good messages

    Just from experience don't buy hydraulic o rings from these stores order from Grainger or Northern tools or from hydraulic stores the after markets their specs are different and their diameters aren't on spec they may work for a while but don't last just a little free advice and experience just trying to help you so you don't waste money

      Good question on land clearing. Word of mouth and repeat customers are very reliable ways for growing a business. But that’s is the hard part while starting out. I hear folks are having good success advertising through Facebook. Work is slow right now even for me. Hopefully things will pick back up soon…

    Dealing with HOA people hard to deal with anyway, they have a power trip issues, that's why I never work in HOA subdivisions,
    i have done the same thing in the pass before i turn my life over to the lord. i have gone off on one of those HOA people, near about hit him, I called him some names bad ones .
    I pulled my equipment that day off that job, I told the contactor I was working for about it. He said his had some word with him too. Told me, don't worry about it bothered me for days
    We all make mistakes in life. We are not perfect like lord Jesus Christ, the more we try to imitate him the devil comes with his attacks and use people to cause things like this.
    i ask god to forgive me and the other guy. He may not know Jesus like we do. Forgive and pray to help us all in this day we live in. all the evil going on.
    thank you for your time and great videos and the word of Jesus, thank you. Hope one day I get to meet you in person. God bless you and your family.

      Hey Matt, that is right! We definitely need to be a witness to those folks who may not believe like we do. But wow is it hard when they are testing our patience. But it is something we should definitely do. Maybe we will get to cross paths one day.
