Good video and great message as always. I thought it was good that you respected the neighbors house. Most people don’t respect anyone else much less themselves in the day we live in. Great job
Martin that is right! It was just not right to cover the house with smoke and ash. If the wind would have just blown a different direction.🙄👍 Merry Christmas
Even in Alaska folks will complain about the smoke. They will call Fire Department with exagerated claims about flame length and concerns that it is too windy. We rarely burn and used to haul everything back to the gravel pits. They would haul a load of gravel in and a load of stumps and brush out. In the last few years, we started haveing everything mulched. The company that does this for us is usually done in about 4 hours and the trees are all converted to chips and stumps are reduced in size and easier to haul. A lot fewer loads back to the pit which reduces pit dump fees. It has been a win win for us. Working with trees is hazardous on equipment and this reduced that significantly.
@@bobcatbuilder2107 Yeah that smoke is pretty bad for sure. Folks get pretty aggravated about it. I kinda like the smell and enjoy burning the brush. Grinding is a good way to go when burning isn’t an option. Thanks

Hey Tristar, that’s unfortunate the wind was smoking the neighbor out. I know the feeling when working in neighborhoods. Another good way to get fires going is with a pump sprayer and diesel. That’s how I’ve always got green fires going with just a steady stream of diesel n blower if you can’t get your haybales.

Only way you could possibly make that work is burning a smaller pile a bucket full at a time, which would probably take you a week and lots of babysitting the fire and putting a bucket full on every 15 min or so. It’s crazy to me that people can’t close their windows for a day and be decent neighbors. How do they think their house got built? They’re not in the middle of a city…
That lot is cursed. I feel sorry for the homeowners. Dealing with that power hungry association. Are you sure it wasn't an ancient burial ground? I'm paraphrasing but Paul said, forget the past and look forward to the future. Press on to reach the end of the race and receive the Heavenly prize for which God, through Jesus Christ is calling us. Philippians 3 Merry Christmas to you and your family. Just think about God saying who will go down to save my children? Jesus stepped forward and said I will go! Even if it was just for me or you He, Jesus would have come down. What a gift!!! That keeps on giving. I got to share that with my neighbors yesterday..
Roxy, I think it’s cursed too! 🤣 Definitely pressing on for sure. I agree with what you said, “what a gift”. Glad you got to share that with your neighbor! 😀👍 Merry Christmas
Those teeth on your bucket and thumb looks nice and aggressive. It almost looks like they could have hired a timber harvesting company clear that land then all you would have to do is pop out the stumps .
I’ve gotta know what city this was in. I’ve never seen people so uninformed about how homes are built and the process it takes to get one in there. Seems like most houses in there would have had to go through the same process
The people that are moving here in east tn from outa state are mostly from high population areas, and they have zero common sense and have zero know how to do anything themselves
CAT 305 is the largest I’ve seen towed by a pickup without getting hassled by cops/DOT. I know a guy who runs 306’s towed by F350’s and almost never has problems, but he throws the 308 on the trailer and avoids getting on the interstate 😂
The largest would be below 5 tons, depending on the setup. Maximum under CDL is 26,000 pounds total for the lower of actual combined weight or gross weight. May also have some other restrictions on max trailer weight. And also extra state restrictions. It can get a little complicated...if the highway safety wants to give a ticket, they have many ways to catch someone in a violation. Best to avoid them.
It never fails that when you do a job in a development, the neighbors get all worked up when just a year or 2 ago, the same exact stuff happened on their lot
Anytime you give people a chance to there will always be someone to complain!

That is for sure! 👍😀
Merry Christmas
It’s crazy to me that people can’t close their windows for a day and be decent neighbors. How do they think their house got built?
They’re not in the middle of a city…
I sure was hoping to get all that burned up but that was a no go! Guess we will end up hauling it off…😀👍
That lot is cursed. Philippians 3
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Definitely pressing on for sure.
I agree with what you said, “what a gift”.
Glad you got to share that with your neighbor! 😀👍
Merry Christmas
More money then brains
Ben it sure has been a mess at this job site! 😀👍
That's been quite the job, you may have a pile of charcoal in a few days.
Yup that job site has been a mess since day one! 🤣🤣🤣
Those teeth on your bucket and thumb looks nice and aggressive.
It almost looks like they could have hired a timber harvesting company clear that land then all you would have to do is pop out the stumps .
Yeah that bucket and thumb works great. We hauled off 90% of the logs for lumber. That helped reduce the amount to burn for sure…
Anybody else feel like investing in tripod stocks after watching Sam’s videos? 😂
Now that would be a wise investment! 🤣🤣🤣👍
I’ve gotta know what city this was in. I’ve never seen people so uninformed about how homes are built and the process it takes to get one in there. Seems like most houses in there would have had to go through the same process
Yup, those folks are fussy for sure! 👍😀
The people that are moving here in east tn from outa state are mostly from high population areas, and they have zero common sense and have zero know how to do anything themselves
❤❤
Thanks! 😀👍
🙂
👍😀
🤣😂🤣😂smoke less in 30 days🤣😂🤣😂
Yup 🤣
That gets aggravating I know
Jeff it has definitely been aggravating for sure. Wow! 😀👍
The 313 is the largest that someone can haul without a cdl isn’t it?
313 is definitely a CDL required machine. It's somewhere around 30,000 by itself
@ ah I thought the 313 meant it was a 13 ton which would be right around at 26,000 lbs
@PrismaticFarm
It may even be metric tons, which is 2200 pounds per ton.
I just realized how close to loudon tn you are! You ever work in Tellico village or rarity bay?
Yup, just a few miles south on hwy 411 from London. I haven’t worked in either of those yet…
Thanks
I would not move into that neborhood
Earl I agree with that too! 🤣🤣🤣
Your gonna burn your blowers ???!!
@@belowfray5251 it was getting hot for sure! 👍😀

Have you ever tried starting a fire like letsdig18 he has great results with little work even in the rain
I’ve watched some of his fire videos but haven’t done it exactly like that though. He definitely burns some huge piles for sure…😀👍
