- In this update I finally take the plunge and do something Ive wanted to do do since the last time I done it. Yes, Ive got my Dream Fish again!! 😍 But if you remember what happened last time, you will know why in so nervous. Check the videos in the link to see what happened last time. Congratulations on the new arrival - Blue spot jawfish (Houdini). I would love one of those, but not available locally. Beautiful fish, but looks a little tricky to keep. Can't wait to watch the updates on the little guy. Take care.
Thanks Jay. He’s looking settled already but will keep him in there for a few days and see how he is before I open the lid for him to make his way out 😀

Looking forward to seeing a video of him when he is in the aquarium properly. Looks a beautifully coloured fish 👍 are they expensive if you dont mind me asking, never seen them in aquatics in Norfolk.

@@neilsreefaquarium9530 wow not cheap!!! I'm not that brave yet in spending on fish. Only started my tank up in august a rs350. That's certainly a fish I wouldnt take the wife with me to buy 😂😂 hope this 1 works out ok for you 👍
🤣🤣🤣 Yeah defo don’t take the wife with you for that one. Tell her it’s a Yellow Watchman Goby, they look similar and if she checks the price on them, they’re like £30 🤣 No rush to get fish, let the tank get established and slowly add fish, with the most aggressive one going in last. Doesn’t always work out that way but always try 🙂
Jawfish are very pretty fish. They require hiding place to feel safe, you can tell when they become stressed when they bend their body. For an expensive like that i would quarantined it first and make sure you have something for it to hide in.

@@neilsreefaquarium9530 just put something in so that it has somewhere to hide, it’ll feel less stress if it can hide away, less vulnerable. 👍 i love this fish but struggling to justify getting one for the price of them 😂 and at most, you’ll only see there heads popping out of rocks and occasionally coming out for food.
Yeah I know what you mean 😄 They’re just my favourite fish and I love them so much. Really want this one to settle. I’ll pop to the hardware store later and get some pipe 😌
