    hi..very great video..I have a question.
    À 30 lbs recurve bow with a 25 inch riser and 68 inch limbs..with 350 grain arrows.
    how much fps would the arrow travel?
    O yes..the drawlenght is 29 inch..
    OK..thanks..I hope you have an answer for my question..

    So, at how many ggp would these arrows in the video weigh in at your draw? If you compared the Blacktail Bows to other high class bows (not just speed wise), how well would they do?

      They are right at 10 gpp for the heavier ones (Easton FMJ) and the others are just 45-50 grains lighter. Both are exceptional bows. I am afraid I could choose one over the other..guess thats why I own both. I do think the Blacktail is slower by a few fps but it is also quieter too. Give and Take in my opinion. They both will get the job done. Let me know if I can be more detailed for you. Happy to do so.

    im buying a bow very similar to this, but its 60lb and 30 inch draw, can I expect the same speed as this or do you think ill be able to break 200?

      Pure Gameplay speed should be similar at 9-10 grains per inch on arrow weight.

      @@BoldOuttakes can you link me to maybe a good arrow/head that would be good for a 60lb longbow?

      @@puregameplay7916 I like the Easton Axis and Easton FMJs... they are my 'go-to' shafts.

      My 'goto' bow is the A&H ACS. I is my current favorite and has been for a few years.

    But it is about speed as well. Faster bow heavier arrows more peno. My satori 65lb spits them out at 200fps. Arrow allways ends up on the other side of the pigs covered on blood down here in oz.

    not that much slower than your ACS, and prettier, but not as quiet. Like you said, all about placement. Gotta chronograph my Stickflinger and Silvertip.

    How many lbs are you pulling on that bow at 29,5 inch?

    • @BBAirborne
      @BBAirborne  8 років тому

      probably about 61-62 lbs with the longer draw.

  • @Lost_Hwasal

    This guy has a pretty long draw, his resting weight is going to be over 60 lbs. So dont take the speeds hes getting as the speeds you will be getting, unless you have a similar draw length.
