Volvo is doing their thing I have a2020 T5 R-Design turbo charge , n I love it. My mom also got a T6 R-Design supercharged all wheel drive, and it's quick! Plus there's so many features inside of the car
The center console is shallow because the electric drivetrain runs through the middle. It is deep on one side the non- PHEV models. There is a phone slot right in front of the console, that little indent. There is a cut out to run a charger from the inside of the console and the phone will stand.
The little cut out is only useful for a small Apple phone my spouse has and even then it flies out if you turn to quickly. My larger android phone doesn't fit.
Haha, thank you! While we did have some issues with the V60, I can't say that I don't have a spot in my heart for it. A 455 hp wagon with these looks is just awesome!
I agree about the storage. (Miss my V90) Re- buttons, I don't care about buttons but a lot more should be controled through voice commands like my previous V90. Overall though I like it and especially doing all my city driving in electric. I think the drive train is awesome! Automaticly goes in to all wheel drive at the slightest slip of a wheel and switching modes is so seemless that it is not noticable to me. I regret that a V90 phev is not available in the USA.
I had a long look at the V60 as a company lease, about a year after it was introduced, Although I liked the car a lot. Like you I found it is cramped, I figured that the reason was XC40, V90 and the XC60 which are more practical, also 455hp is daft real world, you would mash it once in a while to remind yourself what you paid for. But it would be quick with 40% of that.
Oh, I see what they were trying to do... interesting. Looks like it would interfere with both the driver and passenger putting their arm onto the center console though, no?
I get "TheStraightPipes" vibes from your videos. Good reviews, but you guys need better audio recording, your voices are washed out and hard to hear. Good luck !
Here's to fast wagons! And with BMW recently announcing the M5 Touring for North America, we can't wait to drive more fast wagons in the future 🙌

Glad you're enjoying it! The R-Designs look fantastic!

Exactly. It sucks to not have storage but it’s explained by the PHEV. That’s the offset, they should call that out.

noooo keep this gem on the low dont go making videos about it!!!! (sick video anyways)

Volvo really nailed the drivetrain and should make it available more broadly here in North America, I agree!

I get the everything in the screen complaint but never hear the same about Tesla’s. Only praise, maybe because the screen is bigger 🤷♂️
We haven't reviewed Teslas yet, but trust us we'd complain about it there too!
Your phone goes into the slot by the handle for the center console. Fits great

@@GCCarsCA there's a space for the phone and it rests leaning forward so you can still open the center console without moving it.
as I said above it only works with a small Apple phone. My larger android doesn't fit.
@@stevensnow4112 what android do you have? I have a pixel 8Pro and it fits fine. Unless you have a foldable or something.
@@maverick7526 I have a Motorola. My spouse's smaller Apple fits but even it has flown out if a turn is taken at a higher speed.
Is this car reliable or Lexus
I can't speak about the V60 specifically, but unfortunately Volvo has been towards the bottom of recent reliability studies.

Appreciate the feedback! We'll look into cleaning up our audio - thanks! 🙂
