I went there in the mid 70s with my father. Very interesting! We were always out and about with our OS maps looking at stone circles, Pictish carvings, Roman sites, standing stones and the like in those days.
@@MhorScotland one o these days i suppose. Its on my wish list. Ive got ancestors from scotland and ireland both. Patton, crawford, mac kinley, macarter, and so on. Im trying to gather all my notes and consilidate into one pile, i mean book..😂
Are compiling a list of places to visit? Oh and I know the feeling of having piles of notes lol. You have ancestors in two good countries. Where in Ireland do you reckon they were from?
