Kluane national park trail crew here! Glad you guys had such a blast out there. Just watch out for that quick mud next time, it is called the Slim's river for a reason!
Fellow islander here 👋 So happy I found your channel, I’ve been enjoying all of your videos. 💛 The Yukon is probably one of my favorite places in Canada!
Travelled in the Kootenay Mountains during the snowy winter of 2015. Geez it was dark and scary. It was so very cold -25 below. I’ve not returned. I’m surprised these people are out there like this. Seeing large wolf prints in the snow was not a majestic feeling for me. Encountering the wildlife I did come across was everything but pleasant for me. Just a wonderful view to see especially the Mountain Peaks in Canada, The Yukons.
What a great video you all put together! Nice editing! Looking for an epic trip next summer and this one is under strong consideration. I love this type of hiking. We did something similar at Denali a few years ago in the Polychrome basin.
Some pretty dramatic terrain there, guys! Spotting the wildlife is like the icing on the cake. Adding the drone footage has been a real plus for your vids. Well done. Can’t wait for the next one!
nice video! i was there the same time you guys were and saw some grizzlies just where you parked - and some of those dall sheep. next time i will do this hike!
I dd the trail up Grey Mountain trail near Whitehorse. It was very beautiful, but is a very short trail. Unfortunately nothing else in the Yukon. I dream of hiking the Chilkoot Pass Trail from Skagway, Alaska into the Yukon.
Another fabulous video! Looks like such an awesome hike... well aside from walking through some frigid water and probably getting your shoes all wet and soggy! How did you manage after doing that? Didn't that make for some uncomfortable hiking after? Also, very cool wildlife sightings!
Bahaha I see what you did there. Brian did accidentally spray it on us once and it was pretty intense, so I can see why it deters them. But I also sometimes carry bear bangers which make a loud noise that really scares them off.

Spectacular views! Exciting trip with beautiful scenery and plentiful wildlife! The river crossings looked challenging- great trip! 👍👍🏔🏔💚💛
Thanks so much!! It was INCREDIBLE! And yes the river crossings were by far the hardest part
Thanks for the inspiration!
The views are truly spectacular😍

Thank you again for sharing an excellent video of an amazing adventure.
Hi Brian. I never been to Kluane, but I've been lucky enough to do some small hikes in the Yukon and in Alaska. I love the north.

You guys rock!

@@KrystaNorwick Maybe you need some dedicated stream crossing footwear!
Good idea!
Bear spray! Do we have anything stronger? Like a bear bazooka?! I don't think the bear is coming over here to have his hair done! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 🤣🤣

@@KrystaNorwick As soon as someone invents a bear tank (think the M1 Abrams) I'll just pass on that. Lol! 😂😂😉
@@SoothingSounds-kq6yg well you can experience the hikes by watching my videos in the meantime 🥰
