Couple of things. TLUS is one of the games where the story unfolds in game play. So u guys missed Joel telling Ellie about his daughter and her mother. Also the dlc picks in this time period. Check it out
Fun fact troy baker joels actor in the game plays James in the show james is the guy next to david when David ask for the deer and in the show ellie kills him with a butcher knife cutting him in the throat when i saw that i said wow ellie really killed joel
