IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please ALWAYS use resin with proper precautions including wearing proper PPEs (glove, mask, respirator etc) AND working in a well ventilated space. I recommend getting a hold of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) info that every resin company has available to the public (by law). This has all the info about the resin you are using including the precautions you need to take and first aid care. Watch my resin safety video for more info: • RESIN SAFETY | Importa...
Supplies I used were purchased from many places including my local craft stores, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Sophie&Toffee, Miniature Sweets, and Aliexpress

I sealed the shrink plastic with modpodge. I’m sorry , I guess I didn’t realize a clip of me showing the product got deleted.
Bringing back my Childhood with this! I remember when everyone in school would have a Tamagotchi and Teachers would get upset, because kids were always messing with them in Class, because they would die if you didn't care for it every few hours.
IKR? Before smart phones, we had tamagotchi
@@AmyMade Lol! Yep! I miss those days!
Still can’t get over how cute the I pooped one is 😂😂

What size beads do u use for the buttons?
Hey! I was recently following this tutorial and so excited but one of my molds was on a slanted surface which I didn't realize until I cured. The back is uneven and curves in a bit;; would sanding it and doming it be my best bet? Or would the clear resin be super noticable against a bright pink tamagotchi aha?
Thank you!
Depends on how uneven it is but you should try it anyway to and see. Honestly people won’t be looking at the sides to see the unevenness so I don’t think you should worry too much.
Question- i donated to your kofi! How big do you print the decals? What size is the image? Thank you love your work!
Thank you! I don’t remember the sizing sorry! This video is so old and I don’t have the file anymore
Good job! Quick question, what's the tool you use to make the hole to make the piece into a charm?
B G it’s just an electric drill!
hi what drill do you use?
My mom had a tomogachi and one time it was christmas and we saw a ad for it she started raging abt it bc it died on like in two days
I love them! I especially like the green one. If you don't mind, I have a couple questions. Where did you get the funfetti mix and the color changing glitter? Also, what did you use to seal the sharpie on the shrink plastic?
Thanks! I Updated and added links in the description box.
I used modpodge to seal the shrink plastic. I guess I didn’t catch that while editing. Ugh
@@AmyMade Thats okay, and thank you!
姉さんの作品の完成度はやっぱり違うわー♡
有難う!そう言ってもらえると姉さん嬉しいよー😂
😍
Amy- did you make the back screen of the tamigotchi yourself? I can’t find a plain picture anywhere! X
Yes I did!
Merry Christmas, Amy! I'll be starting with resin-making very soon! Had a quick question though, I noticed that you used Sharpie on one side of the first shaker piece, but colored in the character on the reverse side. Is there a reason for that? I appreciate you making this video as I find it very helpful ♥ I hope Santa is good to you today, and I look forward to your response. Take care!
Thank you! Happy holidays! I did sharpie on one side because it works better on the shiny side.
@@AmyMade Ohh okay, thanks so much! Does that generally apply to all colors or just black? The sprites I intend to make don't have black pixels, that's why I'm asking 🙇♀️ I appreciate your help.
Have you ever put fimo clay inclusions into your shakers?
How do you shrink them ?? I’m intrigued! I want to make my own charms lol
You just put them in the oven. I think the plastic is called shrinky dinks
Cool😍 I've just started making shakers and my glitter sticks to the acetate. How can I keep that from happening?
Sedira Sanders try putting a little bit of oil first before adding the film.
I tried everything possible to prevent the glitter from sticking to the plastic. Putting in some oil first didn't help either. My solution: I rarey add glitter to the cavity. I only do when I don't mind it sticking, and only a little bit. Other than that I only use heavier stuff like microbeads, shrink plastic pieces, plastic beads, slices of polyclay canes, metal pieces etc. If I want glittery shakers, I put the glitter into the resin. ;)
BTW: AmyMade, your shakers are the most beautiful I found on the whole internet. I adore them! Most shakers are imo extremely over the top with kitsch, I don't like that.
Also your tips helped me a lot. Thank you!

The music is from sailor cats😂❤
At 4:25 you said you are doing something to seal the sharpie ink and this makes the resin stick to the plastic better, but could you please tell me what was it that you were doing? I would like to try to make some shakers and all info is greatly appreciated.
Video editing error. I corrected myself in. The description box
what size did you draw the characters on the shrink plastic to get them bit sized?
About 1 inch
seriously thank you for the tutorial!! but i got a question: do you NEED to use water decals or can you use regular printable foil sheets, too?
You can use anything you want!
Hii can I ask for the resin did u use only uv resin throughout or only uv resin when making it shiny
If you watched the beginning of the video, I showed the resin I used. Also I always list the products I used in the description box
Hi Amy! Sorry if I missed this, but how did you do the pink buttons on the front? Did you pour those yourself or purchase them? TIA! These are ADORABLE
I made them. But you can buy them too. I show how I do it in my claw machine shaker videos
@@AmyMade thanks! I’ll watch that video now 💓
my two moods
For real 🤣
Could you please do a tutorial on those water decals?
Thank you 💜
Since this is a watch me resin rather than a tutorial, I didn’t include the whole decal segment in this video. But, if you watch The “conversation hearts” video, I do explain it there. If you’re referring to how I made the actual image, I just downloaded the image from online and typed the text over it, printed on the decal paper.
@@AmyMade thank you, I'll watch it 😊👍🏽
Crafter's Delights by Amy Can I ask you where you found the tamagotchi screen pic? I’ve tried searching all over Google and can’t find a clear image
what kind of tape do you use to put on the charm to fill a hole with uv resin?
Painters tape
I know this is kinda old but where did you get the halo nail powder/what brand?
It’s not old at all...the nail powder was purchased on Etsy and I don’t remember the seller. But honestly any nail holo powder is fine
hello, may i ask what oil you are using? i cant find anything related to resin and oil :( they turned out super cute!
I use baby oil
I use baby oil!
What kind of UV resin is that with the brush applicator?? I wanna make a bunch of little charms from shrink plastic and that would come in handy!!
It’s a uv topcoat for nails
Crafter's Delights by Amy oh really?! Wow thanks! Is there a specific brand u like?
What did you use to put the film in
Uv resin?
How do you keep the shakers from leaking after you fill them with baby oil mine keep leaking.
Where is it leaking from? You need to make sure everywhere is sealed with uv resin before putting the oil
If I don't have a needle... Can I put in glitter and water then put the film on?
Yes you can. It would be difficult to seal properly the plastic film though. You don’t have to use a needle. You can even use needle point squeeze bottles
So cute, What kind of oil did you use?
I used baby oil
@@AmyMade Oh thank you for responding.
Hi. What is the color of that holo nail powder you are using and where purchased
Sharon Worley it’s just a silver holo. I honestly don’t remember where I purchased them since I had them for years. But if you search online, you will find many.
@@AmyMade gotcha! It look purple when you were done with the mold
Sharon Worley oh that’s pbb because the purple resin is showing through
😍😍😍😍😍
Do you have printout files for the screens and the characters? I'd love to try to make one!!
goblin queen no I don’t have any to provide for my viewers as they are hand drawn. As far as the screen, I had to photoshop some images I found online. You can find a lot of these images online actually
Are you on Esty? I wanna but these! So cute!
I will be soon 👍🏻
Right?? Please add some, they are adorable!
how'd you do the water decal?
I simply followed the instructions that came with it
so cute, but I cant find the mold on aliexpress, can u pls link it?:(
Mischka a linked
@@AmyMade thank you!!
Hi amy, the image inside (the feed me image), instead of using decal slide paper, can i just print it on a regular paper and cover it with mod podge? Ty
You can. You can also seal the image with clear tape. But the outline of the tape will show in resin. I’ve also used vinyl stickers where sealing is not required.
@@AmyMade i watched it again and just realized you didn’t put glue underneath the water decal. Is that secure enough? I’m just frustrated here cause I’m a newbie and was trying so hard not to make mistakes and waste materials. Trying to find the cheapest way and not buying too much materials. And was that a UV gel nail polish you put on top of the decal? Tysm Amy🙏
Right. You don’t need glue with decals as there’s already some adhesive on there. And I put UV Gel over it to seal and secure it. You can also use uv resin. I just happen to use uv gel for this tutorial.
@@AmyMade Amy another question, is it ok if you don’t dome the little pieces? I mean only apply mod podge and acrylic spray on top? Or is it too ugly? Ty🙏
I’m sure it will be fine👌
Where did you get the drill you used from?
The electric drill is from AliExpress
Can you use transparency film to transfer images instead of the technic you used?
??im sorry but I don’t understand how that would work.
@@AmyMade Create your design then print it on transparency paper instead of regular paper. I'm trying it now. Hoping this it will look right when I'm done. 😅
One thing I can't seem to get right is the size. Why is it so hard getting these tiny images the to fit how you want them?
Oooh printing...you said transfer so I was a bit confused. Im sure it will work but might not move as well in the liquid.
How much time and how much temperature you need to bake the shrink plastics?
The brand I’m using: 300-350F for 2-3 min 👍🏻
@@AmyMade thank you 😊
What pen did you use to color the shrink paper?
I used a sharpie, colored pencils and a paint marker
@@AmyMade thank you
For how much do you sell these charms??
Btw I love this
Thanks. I’m not sure since I haven’t sold any. But what I see online what people charge is a huge range. From $8-$25
@@AmyMade thank you so much I love your videos 💜
Dear, can you make video to teach us how to make Acrylic keychains by laser cutting machine please🙏🤝
I don’t have a laser cutting machine.
Do you sell these? I want one so bad
Yes I’m working on it!😊
how do i make the water decal! :(
They have directions on the package
Would you ever sell these?
NO, yes I would but not the ones I made in the video. I would have to make a new one.
*I POOPED*
U said: This seal... before de UV but what 'this' is? 😬
Please look at the description box . I had an editing error and updated it in my description box. Also look at the pinned comment
Whats going on @ 4:22?
She explains it on a pinned comment
