- I made some BT21 themed shaker charms! I love the simplicity of these characters so I tried to portray that in my pieces. Who’s your favorite character?

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please ALWAYS use resin with proper precautions including wearing proper PPEs (glove, mask, respirator etc) AND working in a well ventilated space. I recommend getting a hold of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) info that every resin company has available to the public (by law). This has all the info about the resin you are using including the precautions you need to take and first aid care. Watch my resin safety video for more info: • RESIN SAFETY | Importa...
Supplies I used were purchased from many places including my local craft stores, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Sophie&Toffee, Miniature Sweets, and Aliexpress

Why do I use two different types of resin in my projects?
I use a casting resin to cast and a doming resin for doming.
Casting resin is usually low in viscosity and works very well in molds without much issue with the bubbles. Also the low viscosity will allow the resin to reach detailed area of the mold. On the other hand, doming resin (AKA coating resin) is thick in viscosity and holds its shape very nicely. It creates a full dome and tends to hold the surface tension much better than low viscosity resin. So lower risk of the resin dripping off the sides. It also gives the piece a smooth, flawless finish.

Who's your favorite BT21 character?
Where did you get the drill? Can you please link it?
Which one? The electric drill is from Aliexpress and the hand drill is from Home Depot
Chimmy!
Tata!
RJ!
I used to do resin but had to stop because of allergic reactions!
I miss it so much now that I'm an ARMY. Imagining all the cute things I could be making 😩😭😢
Don’t forget to wear gloves, mask, and stay in ventilated area while you’re using resin. I think it’ll help a lot with ur allergic reactions and I hope u can start using resin again 🥺💜
This was a great video! I would definitely buy many of the things you make and I would have to pick RJ as my favorite BT21 character 😊
im crying at how theres literally no bubbles in the clear bits of resin SGHDKGJHWE couldn't be me :(
That was the clearest resin I’ve ever saw. And thank you for the hole tips! Because I still have a problem with oil leaking
Those are cute, and thanks for the great tips!
This was so interesting to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing as always im lost on who BT21 is lol but still amazing
Lol trust me I was too until my nieces brought it up.
Hi Amy! May you leave the link for the resin pigments(blue). Thank you
Coz I am a beginner...... sO I want to ask you that what is the name of the shapes like flowers and stars because I want to buy so, what is their particular name which I can search. Please tell me me🥲🥲!!....
They’re so cute! Thank you for sharing.
plz anybody tell me can we use A4 sheet instead of OHP film
Yay! First won to like and comment! I luv your resin charms they are so kawaii and asthetic!
Yay!
Btw my favorite character is Cooky because of how cute he looks!
Thank you so much for sharing this, I have been struggling with the notch when I try to seal it, I will definitely be filling mine in from now on.
wow they look so cute 💕thank you for this video 🌸
love the tunes! nicely added and the editing was cool ofc ur resin is always amazeballs
😅🥰😅😆😅
can you share the link of the drill that you use please?
These are so cute, I love your tutorials! I have a question for you about your tamagotchi video, can you tell me where you found the background screen image that you printed on the water slide decal? I’ve searched everywhere and haven’t been able to find one like it! Thanks for posting, I love watching these and picking up all these cool tips and tricks you use!
Hi and thank you! For the background image, I had to create it myself as I couldn’t find it anywhere online.
Oh wow! I guess I’ll have to break out the art studio software, lol. Thanks!
Where did you get the drill and drill bits?
Do you sell the shakers without the keychains?
so cute...
May I ask where you got your silicon spinning mat/lazy Susan type thing that you place the items on while doming?
Yea! Its literally a lazy Susan and a silicone trivet that I cut up to fit. And I got them at a dollar store
I love it 💜
Hello Amy can I ask how can I prevent oil leakage after doming? Especially for Mickey shakers my oil seems to always leak after awhile. I can't seem to solve this problem. Hoping u can give me some advice. 🙏
Angie Ong have you tried the technique I showed in the video?
@@AmyMade Hi Amy thank you for replying. The difference is I domed after injecting the oil.
@@angieong2043 yes, that's the problem. You need to dome the sealed side before injecting. This way the pressure from injecting won't break the seal you created with the film and UV resin. UV resin is not a strong adhesive and doesn't stick well to the film. It's just a temporary hold so that it stays in place while you dome it.
@@AmyMade Thank you so much Amy. I'll try again. Much appreciated for your suggestions. 🙏
Angie Ong you’re welcome! let me know if you still have issues
what is that thing you drew on called?
Wow that's for such a awesome video! N
Hi ✨
love this video idk if this question has been asked but what is a good size to draw your pictures out so it shrinks to a perfect shaker bit? Thank you 💜
omg after rewatching i see now its 1inch" hahaha
I need chimmy and mang! My faves!
Oh I had a question, why do you dome with 2part resin instead of UV?
That’s because 2part is more durable, more scratch resistant, and offers a shinier, flawless finish. Plus it’s much cheaper. Uv resin is great for small projects but if you’re making many charms, it’s not very cost effective.
Am I able to do print the images on the white printable shrink paper and then cut it out on my Cricut Maker?
I wouldn’t recommend using the Cricut for print and cut on shrink plastic due to their horrible accuracy. You’ll end up wasting expensive material.
Hello, love what you do, I have a question about the plastic that you paint and heat, which is the same one from the shaker that you cover it ==? I hope you can answer me
No they’re different plastic
@@AmyMade Could you tell me which one I need since I am very confused I see that some you paint your direct and others you print, they are the same or you could not tell me which they are, I greet you from Quebec
It should be listed and linked in the description box
@@AmyMade Excuse me if I ask you, it's because I didn't see it, it didn't cost anything for you to answer ... I don't know why you have a UA-cam channel if you teach in the end but you don't give yourself the time to answer, thank you anyway
I just love these!! Hopefully I can eventually work my way up to making something like this...or stick with less involved things and buy things like this from you. I can't pick a favorite...as an OT7 I love all the boys and all of their BT21 characters! They are all my biases and they are all my bias wreckers, lol.
hii, where i can get the molds?
Wow 💜 this is so beautiful 💜😍
Namjin 😍 Vmin 😘 Sope 🤩
...Vankook 🤡
😂😂😂
Great job! Very high quality work to!
Lovely ❤❤❤❤ army forever 💜
My favourite character in BT21 is Cooky ( Junkook )
These arethe cutest charms I've ever seen!
Absolutely adorable, I wish I could make these too!
What this glue name
What this glue name
Where do you get the modle
Ye one keychain kitne ka hai
63r
great job!!!!!❤
Whats the best modgpodge to use with the shrink plastic?
How did you precut the film?
I cut it myself
Can you please tell where can we get bts molds?
Try google to start and you’ll get many results
Super cute 🤘
I really need to know where you purchase all the hardware
Amazon!
Did you only use the UV topcoat because the charms were small? Or can I use UV top coat instead of UV resin, even for larger items?
I used the top coat because they were tiny. Top coat will not look nice on larger items
So cuteeeee
Please give me the link of this mould ..🙏✨..
Check Etsy, Amazon or aliexpress

Wow
I've watched practically all your shaker videos and I'm so glad you're sharing your pro tips with us! You can definitely tell you've been doing this for a while! I do love that waffle mat/turntable, I could really use one of those! Where is it from?
Thank you! the lazy suzan is from a dollar store and the waffle mat is just a silicone trivet I cut up to fit the lazy Susan
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Now this is awesome I love them all honestly
Did you make the pairings just by how you like randomly??.
Yes the pairing of the characters were at random but I did paid attention to the aesthetic of the overall look
Can you color the baby oil, or make it look milky?
How do you bake the characters?..what do u use
This sharkers are awesome!
Say, is it possible to use dyes that would be glowing in the dark for cute thigs like this shaker? I think it would be cool!
Sure can! You can get glow in the dark liquid and powder pigments nowadays
@@AmyMade that's OP. I instantly thought about angel at day time vs demon at nighttime similes as an idea for shakers or some pins even :D
@@Frouza21 hmmmm....that's a great idea!
@@AmyMade or or like a normal chibi vs vampire chibi! The tricky part gonna be making fangs invisible for day time (so the colours of dye must be same and application must be precise... or just to use a template xD). I also wonder how strong the luminescence can be in case of covering the glowing dye with 1-2 layers of transparent normal dye.
I hope one day you will work with this type of dyes and will tell us about it :D
Where are you from???
🇺🇸 USA
Bello 😍
i love everything!!
love the idea and creation , my favorite is RJ
If you see this can you do ateez😊
If you see this can you do ateez😊
when you say "use a torch to pop any bubbles in the resin", what type of torch do you mean / use? great shakers btw🥺💗
Type of torch? I use the refillable kind. You can even use a lighter.
I’ve never had luck with UV resin or shaker charms, but this is the cutest thing everrr
Thank you! It takes practice and making lots of mistakes!
Hi Amy! Newbie here💕 if i wanna put a picture printed on paper on the back of this shaker, should i do it when i put in the cast or after demolding? And if AFTER, do i put it outside or inside the cavity and seal it with UV resin? Thank you so much 🙏💕
Do you have this mold? if you actually have the mold in hand, you have a better idea how things would lay out. You generally want to embed the photo in the resin so the shaker bits and liquid won't damage it.
AmyMade ahhh i see. Thank you so much. No I don’t have the molds yet cause I still don’t understand a lot and still deciding which one to buy first. But again ty for the explanation🙏
CUTE CHARMS!!!!
Those are so cool!! I have a question tho, can I make these without the UV resin?? 😭
I actually used 2 part resin for this project but you can use uv resin too👍🏻
what kind of torch did you use? was it some sort of mini heat gun?
It’s a mini butane torch
You make it look so easy 😭
my patience say "NO"
Why just can't I put the oil first with the clay sprinkles and then put the shrink plastic on top and then the resin? Why do I makr a hole with a drill?
No one is stopping you. Just because I did it this way doesn’t mean you have to do it like this. I prefer my method because I can fill more liquid.
AmyMade ok thx
Wow you are so creative!
What if I use glue instead is modpodge
A perfect opportunity to experiment! Try it and let us know how it went!
Love the shakers! May I ask how much UV resin in total for all these shakers combined?
periwinklepunk did you want to know how much uv resin I used? If that’s the case. Very very little. Definitely less than a dime sized drop.
AmyMade thank you so much! Yes that’s what I was asking but I realised I didn’t complete my sentence :,) my bad!
where did you get the drill that you use? thx!
Amazon!
Omg so cute I love it
Pretty! How did you get the back so clear?
I used clear resin for the back layer
Thanks tons for this video!
How long do you have to cure it for.?
Marcy...please be specific. I used two different types of resin so I don’t know what you are referring to
where do you buy those stuffs?
Amazon or try a craft store
WOW!
What drill do you use?
If you watch my how to seal and fill shakers, I talk more about it and where you can get one
Hi Amy! These are adorable! Do you sell them??
Thanks! I don’t sell these
@@AmyMade Oh super bummer! I might try to make one, but I know it won't come out as well as yours! Thanks for the great tutorial.
where'd you get your little hand drill?
If you look in the description box, I have it linked 👇👍🏻
@@AmyMade thanks!
where can i purchase the electric drill to make the hole in the shaker ?
Christina Zhong check my recent video and there’s a link there
AmyMade thank you 😊
hi!! where did you get the keyrings from? thanks
I think from amazon
AmyMade would you know what keywords i should use to look them up? i have no idea what they’re called
Key rings, keychain findings
AmyMade thanks!!
Omg they are so cute 💜💜💜
