Any tip on avoiding rammers from behind, given that my car understeers like a dog all the time? This happens even with the BRZ, which supposedly has the best cornering. Understeer holds me on the rammers' paths, so rammers spin me out into the grass. I 've also tried the '18 Supra and the M6 because Yamanaka and Rubilar are the ones winning this event, yet understeer and rammers get me again. Medium tyres make no difference, my car is still pretty much incapable of steering. I also drive real cars, they steer much better than that.
Update 1.49 makes every race car feel like they have a little bit of understeer, braking a few metres earlier into corners and learning to trail brake will help with this. Even tho the AI are aggressive in this race I don’t really get hit by them a lot. Sometimes the AI miss judge and brake too late but in my experience it’s not a common thing. Not sure what your experience is with real race cars but GT7’s handling physics are different to what you will experience in a real race car. In this race we can’t change the car’s setup to reduce understeer because of BoP so you could definitely keep trying other Gr.3 cars that may suit your driving style more.
@@ProdigyRacing I have tried as many Gr3 cars as I could buy, but all of them understeer a lot. Not sure why GT7's physics are so understeery. I would even say the problem was worse before 1.49! With updates 1.49 and 1.50 though cars tend to jump around more, again not sure why.

I play on controller with no assist settings and manual transmission so this has been a thorough challenge, but I’m happy to finally have it accomplished. I’m no quitter but I’ve given up on this race. I have gold on all the missions but of course the last race has to be impossible. I’ve tried multiple cars and driven as hard and as smooth as possible but all I can say is there’s a place reserved in hell for the person who set the difficulty on this race.
same here I cant no matter what car i try how much i save on fuel tires the first place pulls away from me and there is no catching it closest i got to winning was 2nd place and he was way ahead of me
I absolutely agree, I have spent millions of dollars using different cars, reading different forums for different techniques and strategies, ran consistently 1:58s and the best I can get is 7th place. I play the hardest difficulty in the game since day one and race online regularly. I cannot beat this race and I've done it countless times and thousands of miles of track time with different cars. Very discouraged to be honest.
@@TrueNookaKing yeh it’s pissed me off especially given that I’ve basically wasted an hour each time I try. It honestly feels like the AI cars don’t adhere to the BOP restrictions. The only people I’ve seen beat it on UA-cam seem to use a wheel setup, I’m on controller.
very easy race. I have 9th place in the ranking and tomorrow I will improve this result because I lost at least 10 seconds. I don't know how you can't win here. My time on the second lap is 1.55.300. I regularly do 1.55.xx from the very beginning
THANK YOU! I'm a controller player and used the Mercedes-AMG GT3 ‘20, followed the same strategy, on a controller and won after MONTHS of attempting with other variety of setups and strategies. For track management I kept TCS on 3 for the initial 5 turns - flip it to 1 or 0 and try to smoothly control the car through the S turns - flip to TCU 3 on the big hill hairpin, then TCU 1 for the remainder of the track. I focused purely on trying to get good exits from each according turn, as I knew I couldn't brake as perfectly as the AI - I leaned on the TCU for the tighter initial turns and hairpin so I can be more aggressive on the gas without losing the car. At one point I got handed a 1.5 second penalty for track cutting, the AI kept constantly dive-bombing on the hairpin to push me wide, so I would try to position or take the corner accordingly. Usually I did a slower entry to give them space and gun it on TCU 3 as I finish out the turn. This would usually launch me far enough ahead that by the next turn I cleared them) I finished ~ 4 seconds ahead of 2nd place (they pitted on the lap before the last one of the race which gave me the lead). Was my last gold I needed for the human comedy trials on controller. Best Lap was around a 1:57, I averaged ~1:58-~1:58per lap (minus a few nasty AI traffic ones that pushed me much higher)
gratz on the win just done it myself on controller auto gears with amg couple of 1.57 mostly 1.58 beat fraga by 2 tenths of a seconds phew so glad thats done
How in the name of Zeus’ butthole are you getting times 20 whole seconds ahead of everyone else and only winning by 4 seconds when the AI gave you a gimme at the end? You might want to revise those numbers.
After days and days of trying, I finally won with the Lexus RC F GT3! (With update 1.50) Equipped with medium tires, my first pit stop was at the end of lap 10 and the second stop at the end of lap 20. The victory clearly came down to the fact that this car consumes the least fuel and allows for very quick pit stops! My lap times ranged between 1:58 and 2:00. I’m playing with a controller.
Update 1.48: if you haven’t been able to beat this yet, try the Honda NSXGT500. I finally beat this race with it yesterday, and finished with a 17 second lead. Run medium tires, fuel map 1 the entire time. Pit at the end of lap 10, change tires and fill to 12 laps. Pit one more time at the end of lap 20, change tires and fill up to 11. I averaged 1:58 per lap. I had 6-8 laps at 1:57 and two laps at 2:00 flat when my tires got low but even then the car handles great. Hope this helps.
It’s definitely a decent car for this event. However, because it’s a Legends Car and not always available to buy it’s not a viable option over time unfortunately. I do recommend testing different Gr.3 cars if the AMG doesn’t suit your driving style.

This absolutely worked! Using the Mercedes I ended up 4th, 24 seconds behind with an average lap time of 1:58-1:59 yet using the NSX with the same average, I finished 1st with a 20 second lead. Not sure how that worked but it did😅 I could probably had better times but I have to use the h pattern shifter as the paddleshifters on my Logitech g29 are having issues
I’m so glad I watched this video, because I didn’t even realize how god awful my driving style was compared to his (hesitant to use all available kerbs and whatnot). Decided to try again this time improving my driving style on this track, along with using the 2020 AMG GT3 instead of the Peugeot RCZ Gr. 3, and BAM! Put the GR Supra AI driver in his place! 🤜🤛 went from 1:59's to 1:57-1:58's, even 1:56's.
Great guide thank you! After trying a few times with the same car as you I eventually did it with the GTR Nismo, same strategy apart from I only put in 10.5 laps worth of fuel at each stop. Won by 11 seconds with majority of lap times 1:58, did a couple of 1:57s but also a few 1:59s
The main issue qith AI oponents is that they CAN push you out of the track, but YOU can't do the same thing to them, they seem to be literaly stuck on the ground ! I tried pushing Rubilar in the grass/sand. It only takes him a few seconds to get out of this wrong path and bumping your rear ! Looks a little unreal especialy on this mission
So true. They hit you you spin off but they stay on track like nothing happened. Also when I’ve seen the AI go off track they recover so fast with no problems and lose no speed even in that gravel trap at the u-turn. For me it’s bugged or a developer has notched up the difficulty level to impossible cos they’re sadistic. 5th is the best I’ve managed.
If your stops are after laps 10 and 20 why refuel for 12.5 laps at the first stop? 10.1 should do the trick as well and saves you a little time bc lower weight?
Man, I just did this after not trying for over a year. Ran all my laps 1:57, 1:58 and still finished 2nd, 2.4 seconds behind Rubilar. Absolutely brutal, not sure what I did wrong. Using a controller.
My biggest issue is tire wear. I can follow your pace the first laps but by lap 7 my tires start to go. Is this because Isabel a controller? Do you do anything special to save tire? Or is it v1.48?

Honestly I think update 1.42 made it almost impossible. I've tried probably 10+ times, my best was 4th. 1.58/1.59 and some 2 minutes lap. I think I tried almost every gt3 car. Easy, hard and even medium difficulty. Just gonna quit for now, maybe some changes on future updates.
Exactly I think they made the thing too easy in the beginning so they’ve been making it harder with every update to the point where now you have to be like a semi pro sim racer with $1000 rig to be able to win it, I have been at this for well over 30hrs and I cannot get better than 2nd, either fraga or Rubilar always win I can’t get 156’s but I consistently get 158’s and a few 157’s however when the tires get below 30% I get 159’s and 2s, pit at the end of lap 10 come out and get in first by lat 17 pit at the end of lap 20 come out and I can never catch the leader agin because some how Fraga became fucking Hamilton and is putting 156s every lap!!! It BS!!!!
i finally got it this morning, i ended up putting Rubilar in the grass on turn 2 of the 2nd lap never saw him again and Fraga in the dirt at the hairpin in the 20th lap after that it was smooth sailing won by 17 sec with Kukobun in second.@ite9872
What happens to yamanaka? He’s screaming out the gate and pulling 1:54s and 1:53s in mine and there’s no way to catch him. 1.43 made it worse than 1.42.
@@dakkonfury yamanaka pits 3 times just make sure you are doing it on hard lvl.just done it myself on 1.43 after many trys finally did it with amg on controller auto gears beating fraga by 2 tenths of a seconds lap times were mostly 1.58 and a couple of 1.57
This race is absolute bullshit. I was 3 fucking seconds away from winning gold. I play on a pad and I don't know if it's possible to get gold when I did laps of 1:57, 1:58, 1:59. Mostly 1:58. The person who invented this race was thinking about professional players who have a steering wheel.
I struggled 4 days with this race. First 4th place, then 3rd, 2nd and finally, without major problems (on a not fully functional pad) I won the gold. I did it with a Honda NSX (00) with a 15-second lead. This car is a masterpiece. I won gold this morning. 😊😊
It worked for me last night on the redbull ring. My previous best was 3rd I think. Nailed it first try. Pit on 10, fuel only. 19, fuel and wet tires, ride the wet tires all the way till you need to fuel again, and rip it on softs. Just be sure to stay on the dry and you're good. I tried this race with it after, but got tired and gave up. Will try again.
@@jtpstealthI just completed with 1st in Red Bull Ring using Ford GT under my 2nd attempt. I did follow his strategy but I put on the inters instead of slicks as the track is not that completely dry. Yes it does help you pick up the pace but some AI cars might slips off. I did try to use dry tyres in the final minute and ends off slipping out the track. I would prefer inters in the last pit stop.
Yeah, if you can do consistent 1.56 lap times like in this video, you can pretty much run any strategy. If you only manage 1.58 laps consistently like me, you're screwed. Winning strategy: Learn to drive faster.
My average lap times were 1.56.5 - 1.57.0 and I won the race by nearly 52 seconds. Even if i was 1 - 1.5 seconds slower over 30 laps i would’ve still won the race. Consistent 1.58.0 lap times should be on pace to still win the race, the gap will be close but still manageable.
@@ProdigyRacing Yeah I finally won this race last night with 20 seconds doing consistent 1.58s. It's a lottery. The race before that I lost by far doing 1.58s and 1.59s.
Time and practice mate. First step is to practice consistency. Complete only the first 20 minutes of the race a bunch of times until you feel comfortable with the car, tyre wear, overtakes and above all consistent lap times. Give yourself realistic goals with consistent lap times, if you can only do 2 minute lap times currently, aim to do that every lap for the first 20 minutes, once you achieve this try to go for 1.59s, once you hit 1.58s and you can do that consistently then you should be able to win the race. I understand how hard it is to stay focused for the full hour. Practice, practice, practice. If you feel yourself getting frustrated take frequent breaks from the game and come back with a fresh mindset and go again.
@@ProdigyRacing nope. I played 100 hours on this mission. I easily did gold on time trial, when I create my own race with the same settings i easily won. Game is broken for controller players. Track limits are strict, so precision is a key. You can do it on wheel, but on dualsense? Waste of time. You can be so smooth on ps5 controller. And no, i will not buy a wheel for one game. I did 1:58 times, and 1:59 with used tires. So there is no problem with consistency.
@@DawidSiedlecki I have already done the mission a few times and yes it is possible with a controller with controller and automatic: Times 1:58-1:59 (you are fast enough) Tires medium Fuel on 1 continuously Car(s) Subaru Brz Gt 300 Porsche Rsr Amg Gt M6 Ferrari 458 (bitchy on the rear axle when breaking but fast) or whatever you like best At the beginning overtake as many people as possible, especially Rubilar after the 2nd lap at the latest, otherwise no chance Yamanaka stops 3 times stops round 10-11+ round 20-21 fresh tires and fuel for 10.5 laps This works and you win the race with 13-30 seconds. advantage depending on the course of the race good luck and don't give up

This one seems impossible, have tried it with 4 different cars on all difficulties i cant average lower than 1:59,5 sometimes I get a 1:58, sometimes a 2:00 but damn its so hard

Tried same, used medium tyres and pit at lap 10 and 20 but Yamanaka is also doing same and he is getting away every lap. Any advice, tried many cars.

Exactly what happened when Valerio Gallo’s NSX came in contact with my car (RCZ Gr. 3). Spun out as a result 😡😭

If you're struggling, take out Rubilar on the first lap before he passes everybody. That's 20 seconds you'll save.
I don’t know if they changed something, but I finally finished this crap in first with the 1.49 update. Did using the motionsense from dualsense

Any chance you can share your settings, i.e. TCS, ABS , ASM, counter steering...
tcs 2 abs default..all other assists off..controller settings 7 1 5

It worked for me last night on the redbull ring. My previous best was 3rd I think. Nailed it first try. Pit on 10, fuel only. 19, fuel and wet tires, ride the wet tires all the way till you need to fuel again, and rip it on softs. Just be sure to stay on the dry and you're good.
I tried this race with it after, but got tired and gave up. Will try again.
@@jtpstealthI just completed with 1st in Red Bull Ring using Ford GT under my 2nd attempt. I did follow his strategy but I put on the inters instead of slicks as the track is not that completely dry.
Yes it does help you pick up the pace but some AI cars might slips off. I did try to use dry tyres in the final minute and ends off slipping out the track. I would prefer inters in the last pit stop.

I finally won gold after trying more than 10 cars by McLaren mediam tyers replace it after every 21 minutes. And last replace fual what only you need
Yeah, if you can do consistent 1.56 lap times like in this video, you can pretty much run any strategy. If you only manage 1.58 laps consistently like me, you're screwed.
Winning strategy: Learn to drive faster.
My average lap times were 1.56.5 - 1.57.0 and I won the race by nearly 52 seconds. Even if i was 1 - 1.5 seconds slower over 30 laps i would’ve still won the race. Consistent 1.58.0 lap times should be on pace to still win the race, the gap will be close but still manageable.
@@ProdigyRacing Yeah I finally won this race last night with 20 seconds doing consistent 1.58s. It's a lottery. The race before that I lost by far doing 1.58s and 1.59s.

On controller is impossible. I can't drive so smooth. I triend almost 10 times, different cars, different sertings.
Time and practice mate. First step is to practice consistency. Complete only the first 20 minutes of the race a bunch of times until you feel comfortable with the car, tyre wear, overtakes and above all consistent lap times. Give yourself realistic goals with consistent lap times, if you can only do 2 minute lap times currently, aim to do that every lap for the first 20 minutes, once you achieve this try to go for 1.59s, once you hit 1.58s and you can do that consistently then you should be able to win the race. I understand how hard it is to stay focused for the full hour.
Practice, practice, practice. If you feel yourself getting frustrated take frequent breaks from the game and come back with a fresh mindset and go again.
@@ProdigyRacing nope. I played 100 hours on this mission. I easily did gold on time trial, when I create my own race with the same settings i easily won. Game is broken for controller players. Track limits are strict, so precision is a key. You can do it on wheel, but on dualsense? Waste of time. You can be so smooth on ps5 controller. And no, i will not buy a wheel for one game. I did 1:58 times, and 1:59 with used tires. So there is no problem with consistency.

with controller and automatic:

Ferrari 458 (bitchy on the rear axle when breaking but fast)
or whatever you like best
At the beginning overtake as many people as possible, especially Rubilar after the 2nd lap at the latest, otherwise no chance
Yamanaka stops 3 times
stops round 10-11+
round 20-21
fresh tires and fuel for 10.5 laps
This works and you win the race with 13-30 seconds. advantage depending on the course of the race

just done it myself on controller auto gears with amg couple of 1.57 mostly 1.58 beat fraga by 2 tenths of a seconds phew so glad thats done

This one seems impossible, have tried it with 4 different cars on all difficulties i cant average lower than 1:59,5 sometimes I get a 1:58, sometimes a 2:00 but damn its so hard
