      @@sunnyday9026 why don't you ask Alec Baldwin? He was the executive producer. He was the Boss. He was responsible for his employees safety. And he killed a person with his own hand. Go ask him.

    • @jeffgoble9206
      @jeffgoble9206 27 днів тому +3

      @@outlawbillionairez9780 producer ≠ boss. Ryan Smith was the producer in charge of overall production. Baldwin was part of the funding and had some say in casting and script. And acting, of course. Neither Smith nor Baldwin are responsible for weapon safety, which is the responsibility of the armorer, who is serving 18 months for involuntary manslaughter, and the assistant director who last handled the weapon, who took a guilty plea.

    • @jeffgoble9206
      @jeffgoble9206 27 днів тому

      No one knows how real bullets ended up on set, but the bullets the prosecutor didn't give to the defense could have been an important clue. That's why the case had to be thrown out, because the defense didn't have a fair chance to investigate these bullets and let the jury decide if it was important. And because the jury was already sworn in, Baldwin can't be tried twice, so there is no longer any chance Baldwin will serve any time in prison.

    • @outlawbillionairez9780

      @@jeffgoble9206 why don't you just look it up, instead of posting BS.

    • @jeffgoble9206
      @jeffgoble9206 27 днів тому

      @@outlawbillionairez9780 you're conflating two different things. If your argument is that Baldwin as a producer created an unsafe work environment: it isn't the producer's job to directly maintain a safe set. That would be like saying the CEO of a corporation is in charge of the construction site of their new headquarters. It is their job to make responsible hires, and Baldwin wasn't the man in charge of hiring the people to do so. That was Smith's job, and he wasn't brought up on charges because the production HAD hired an armorer whose job it is to maintain weapon safety. You don't have to believe me in all of this, the judge ruled on it 5 days ago, here's the quote:
      "I'm having real difficulty with the state's position that they want to show that as a producer he didn't follow guidelines and therefore as an actor Mr. Baldwin did all of these things wrong that resulted in the death of Ms. Hutchins because as a producer he allowed these things to happen," Marlowe Sommer said. "I'm denying evidence of his status as a producer."
      So that just leaves the question of whether he's responsible as an actor because he fired the weapon. Again, the answer is no, because it is the armorer's job to make sure there is nothing in the gun between takes, and she was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months in prison. It is also the job of the assistant director to confirm the weapon is cold, but he obviously didn't do that and has plead guilty.
      But all of that is moot, because the prosecutor didn't reveal to the defense evidence of the other ammunition that might have been a clue about how live rounds got on set in the first place. Because that could have been crucial to Baldwin's defense, there is no choice but to throw the case out. And because the jury had already been sworn in, it counts as a trial and you can't be charged twice for the same crime. So there is no longer any possibility of Baldwin serving time.
      He still will have to face a jury in a civil trial, but only money will be on the line, not his freedom.
      Btw, the armorer is likely to be set free for the same reason, and New Mexico might even have to pay her for putting her behind bars.
      Any other questions?

    Willfully concealing evidence is abominable and punishable. A defendant is entitled to all possible avenues to prove their innnocence or non-culpability, and anything that seeks to prevent this, and that too willfully, should be condemned. Baldwin is not a murderer and he was not a knowing participant in what happened. If anything, the person who put a live bullet in the gun knowingly is the person responsible for this tragedy.

      Pointing a functional firearm at someone is not an accident. If you are going to handle a firearm then you are responsible for making sure it is not loaded. The number one rule of firearm safety is never point it at anything you are not willing to destroy. If you don't know anything about firearms then you should not handle them. You don't get a free pass because you are an actor. The responsibility ultimately rests with the person handling the gun.

      Go ahead ! I stick to my judgement !
      For me, you just the same as the prosecutor did !
      Every inch of items / props including each item safety rules whatever it is which belongs to the movie producer / maker, are not actors / actresses responsibilities !!
      Those actors / actresses responsibilities are solely acting !! They should focus on their acting abilities without being disturbed by having to double-check the safety of the weapons or memorize the safety rules on set !! Actors / Actresses are not paid for that !!
      Every team has different kind of responsibility according to what kind of a job they have !!
      So the party that deserves to be sued are the film producer company team who had a duty to choose and hire the qualified team who supposedly has full responsibility in that field ... But instead they hired the unqualified personnels just because to safe some money (low budget movie) !!
      Safety cannot be replaced for saving money !!!!
