Hi new subscriber here! I love your videos! I'm 30 and am going to be doing my first ice skating lessons in February. Never to old to try something new! 😊
I am 42 and started 4 months ago... I went from beginner to novice to intermediate to advance in this short period of time but I skated pretty much 4-5 days/week for 3-4 hours each day. I used to be a boxer and still training and a cyclist so my legs are pretty strong and this for sure helped me a lot in the ice ring. I started jumps also. Everything is possible but train off ice also doing squats and lounges. Let me know how things are going as this post was made 1 year ago!!

Please for the love of God stop eating animal products if you want to be healthy also over 40. Research Plant Based Nutrition as it is the only healthy one for a human.

Could you please do a video comparing rockers and picks? I think a lot of us don't know the difference between certain ones. Apparently it's not just boot size and support and blades. It's rockers and pick sizes too

omg they are so beautiful... hey I wonder if anyone will answer but I wanted to ask for advice about my first Figure Ice Skates. I know cheap ones are not a good idea and that Edea / Riedell / Edea are the best but I can't have those before next christmas. So I wanted to know if you knew any Ice Skates that are cheap and that are okay to learn to Ice skate please ? I saw the Galaxy Sfr ones but apparetly they are not so great ?
friends don't lie I started skating a few months ago and I got the Edea Overture skates as my first pair and I love them! They are great skates for beginners. I paid $260 for them so they’re not cheap but affordable for a beginner.

About $700 for the revolution model of the Gold Star. The MK Professional which is the more intermediate model with the same 7' rocker and 12" spin rocker is $300 for the revolution model.

Hi!! Not sure if this’ll help but when you go to take off once you are on the edge, try to spring up and keep all your body weight centralised on your right side

I know you probably won’t see this but I was wondering if you had an off ice skate spinner because I would love to see some tutorials on how to use it and different spins you can do on there. Yes you can use any blades although I wouldn't recommend them since they're expensive- you don't need to pay that much money for blades that aren't suited for singles haha! Once you land a double axel, go for it :)
Coronation Ace Revolution blades would be better for singles and early doubles :)

I want to start figure skating, I know how to skate and I’m pretty confident, does anyone have any tips?? I’m kinda scared to join because I’m not sure what it will be like with all these really experienced other girls and boys idk :)
I really want the gold seal revolution from John Wilson and can I just say you are so amazing. I can only land up to a single axel and I only landed it on Christmas Eve. now I just need to land double toe, flip, Lutz and axel (the only edge jump I like is axel because I hate sal and toe)
