5:18 this is what I wanted from a Dunceparce evolution! Not necessarily something cool, but something inspired! Taking two snake cryptids and fusing them together works perfectly! I love this, what I’ll call, “Dunceporos”!

I like the idea of a Gimmighoul split evolution. Gholdengo for the Roaming form (higher speed/attack/special attack) because it's free to roam and use its surfboard of coins but doesn't have the protection of a chest. While the mimic-like evolution for the Chest form (higher HP/defense/special defense) has the protection of the chest but doesn't have the speed since it drags itself around on its hand and is bulkier.
I like how it also looks like Gholdengo is coming out of the chest as the arms and tongue
Also that defensive typing. Sure it's a lot of types often used in competitive that's super effective, but. It's only X2.
How about foolsghoul like it's a mimic so the coins aren't real and the name sounds like fools gold
I'm gonna agreed with another comment about the Squawkabilly evo's name to be Squawkabully.
For the Dunsparce evolution, my name suggestions is Spundarce.
For the Gholdengo replacement, I'm gonna suggest Gholdenguise for a name.
For Klawf, I'd suggest something like Growf, although it's a bit simplistic.
Omigoodness, Spundarce is the most amazing thing ever. That is utterly perfect.
Wow, these evos were so good… it made me change my mind on how I feel about these Pokémon, I wasn’t really a big fan of them when they released (especially not the “humanoid stack of coins”) but these evos give them so much life and you did an awesome job 💪🏻

Great video, loved the Squawkabilly evo in particular! A little idea I had for the name of Klawf's evolution would be Kanopace - combines 'canopy', the highest layer of trees with 'carapace', the shell/exoskeleton of a crustacean (and adding the K for a bit of consistency with its predecessor)
i like how the new gimmighoul evo still has some similar design elements to gholdengo-really shows how much potential was there that the official design didn’t utilize. definitely my favorite of this video!

I love all of these evolutions/re-designs, but my favorite one by far is the redesign for Ghimmighoul's evolution. A chest/mimic based design would've been so much more satisfactory. I love what you did to make it look different from the other designs. The gemstone teeth are my favorite detail, and the arms work well.
Big fan of these, especially for Squawkabilly which desperately needed some love. Maybe a good new name could be Punkeet or Parapunk? I kinda like Punksquawk too. I really like the small changes to Dudunsparce, I feel like this is a good midway point for people like us that liked it and people that wanted something more. Your new evo for Gimmighoul is what I'm hoping we get in the DLC as an evo for roaming form (assuming they do that). And as a big Klawf enjoyer, I love the evo! I think a good name to go with Klawf and Cliff is Frawnd for Frond, but I think it'd be better if I could get a crab pun in there.

Love the Gimmighoul evolution. I too was disappointed by not getting a mimic Pokémon.
I love these evolutions my favorite is probably the klawf evolution, such a creative idea which is why I thought of a goofy name for this goofy guy, oh and as well as the others
Squawkabilly -> Squawkarock Dark/Flying
Dunsparce -> Dudunswheel Flying/Ground
Gimmighoul -> Chemimic Ghost/Steel
And my personal Favorite
Klawf -> Klalmtree Rock/Grass
Though I will say I did wish Scovillian had a third stage
Love these names. And yeah, Klalmtree is perfection. I ended up doing a different version of Scovillain in a previous video.

Dunspin is sooo perfect! Still super silly and unpredictable but actually interesting and appealing! And Clawfrond is suuuch a fun concept!! Fantastic body plan great job!

There is one simple thing I really don't like about Squawkabilly: The feathers that hang down at the sides give the impression of folded wings, and combined with its unsettling flying white upright thing, make it somehow a bird version of the uncanny calley.
Sqauwkabilly and gimmighoul's evolution are my most favorite!!! 🤩🤩🤩 (Nice work by the way!)
I could see the chest mimic working for the roaming form.
They're all very interesting. I like the new designs for Dudunsparce and Klawff's evolution ideas you came up with, not saying I don't like what you had in mind for Squawkabily and Gimmighoul, a punk parrot and a ghostly mimic are good.

Idk Gholdengo is weird. It looks like a meme. And the gold coinboard is unique. Maybe a split evo. Roaming into Gholdengo and Chest into yours.

I would fix quaquaval (because it is very bizarre and its design is bad), meowscarada (because it must have been a quadruped, besides it is very androgynous) and I would give an evolution to kilowattrel (because honestly it does not measure up as a regional bird and it is a very simple and generic design, it also looks like a pre-evolution)
Thanks. Yeah, I did primal forms for the paldea starters in my Pokemon Amber series, so I got to play with those, but you're right Kilowattrel could use an Evo.

Here are the names for the Pokémon:
Pokémon 1: Squawkapunk
Pokémon 2: Hoopsparce
Pokémon 3: Mimicghoul
Pokémon 4: Palmlawf
You know, if Squawkabilly is a rockabilly (1950 classic rock) it really ought to have had a bunch of evolutions that connect to rock and roll, punk-rock and hard rock, maybe even push that last one to metal. Ah well.

Yeah I think most people figured out the rockabilly/Elvis inspiration. Though Froopy seeing yankii inspiration makes sense still.
Klawf's evo could be a fun mid-boss during area zero. An evo of the first titan as a final surprise titan. Maybe replace some of the somewhat repetitive paradox fights.
A simple one for the ghimighoul evolution could be mimicoin, for the squakabilly evolution rockabilly, for the Dunsparce evolution maybe driftsparce

I redid spidops and Scovillian in a pervious video. I agree on Dashbun and I could see Venomoth getting some love, but Grafaiai is my boi!!!!!!!

Me deleting an entire paragraph when I heard you didn't want to replace Dudunsparce, the true god among pokemon, the best boi, who is also just hilarious.
I really liked the Squawkabilly evo, and the new Gimmighoul evo, it would probably be a boss fight in a big dungeon, and would probably be something powerful like Ghost-Dark, with an ability called Midas Touch which gives a random status condition when it has a move make contact with the opponent, and it would be super hard to catch, and it's evolution method would be super long too.
I don't have an opinion on Klawf's evo, but it is cool.

carapalm: carapace + palm(from palm tree)
Parakuza: Parakeet + yakuza
Mimicoin: Mimic + coin
Dunboros: Dunsparce + ouroboros

I know everyone wanted to get a scary mimic out of Gimmighoul, but when I first saw the concept for it, my immediate thought was "Oh dude what if they give us like a Fafnir or a Mammon-themed pokemon as its evo to really sell the whole curse of greed thing!" instead, WE GOT THE CHEESE MAN. Disappointing...
Gholdengo is literally Gumby from the cartoon back in the 1950s
I was hoping for a regional variant for Ekans with a regional evolution. Plus for your dreams themed prompt I think a Drowzee that gained the Dark type in order to eat nightmares from people only to evolve into a Hypo that causes nightmares.
Love that idea for drowned, so fun!

Now that I've fully watched it, the hoop snake version of Dudunsparce is my favourite. It's something I would use every time it was available. Would you consider doing a video in the future to make certain Pokemon seem more viable in the wild? Ones like Magikarp, lorewise and even gamewise, seem to survive by sheer abundence. But I keep wondering how do Pokemon that just don't seem to fit into the wild survive? I keep wondering a lot about ones like Swirlix.
That's a super interesting concept. I'm gonna have to think on that one...
I remember saying Dundunsparce looks like a lazy design that Gamefreak came up in 5 seconds because all they did was take Dunsparce and just adding an extra body and so many people said that was the whole point of Dundunsparce and some people even say its a genies design.

Okay, so a silly idea--but what if the Hoop Evolution for Dunsparce is called Dunsparcesparce? Since it's the split version of Dudunsparce
The Squawkabilly evolution should be called Squackuza or Squawk n' Roll
You should give the gimmighoul evo teeth gems of different colors, or just gems inside the chest to make it pop out even more. The colorscheme looks bland to me it would look fantastic with red,blue and pink gems added to the color variety.
The squakabilly evo could be called Punkatoo.

I'm just saying, if Froopy's next region was a DnD inspired region, I don't think I'd be mad. Especially if we got this new Gimmighoul in there as a secret boss fight.

a name for the Sqwawkabilly could be Punroca, from punk and roca Spanish for rock. Ougirar for the Dunsparce evolution from Ouroboros a very similar wheel snake creature and girar Spanish for spin. For the Gimmighoul evolution how about Phauxkoin from faux, French for false which sends better than Spanish for false, phantom and coin. For Klawf you could go with Klawmier from Klawf and Palmier, Spanish for palm tree.
These are awesome. I particularly love pulling ouroboros in there!

@@froopyart I do like your design for the evo! but for the real design I was really hoping for something including a Quetzalcoatl, the snake god from ancient Aztec times. I know that's south America and not Spain but I would rather have had them wait till a South America Region for it.
Also hreat desins although the first pokemon looked like it could be a 3 line pokemon with the offishal pokemon being the first in the line and your design being the last

New Pokemon Eclipse episodes will be the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. So we won't get episode 5 until the new year.
And maby i could try to make sprit art for your paleon pokemon region and im curiose in the pokemon amber dlc will we get the scorupi and sizzlepede ancestor pokemon and the tropius pre evoultion and o forgot to mention but in the biome region the type chart is going to work like yours if thats okay and im ading two new types the cosmic and the digital type and could i send you what did fkr the first two energize forms i did there not the best and im better at drawing om paper than the cumputor amd sorry if im being selfish by asking you to do the drawing for me im just better at doing it on paper than cumpotor and the one im doing right now dosent let me do shading so please help me

Hey froopy art im curently eorking a a fakemon region im calling the biome region which is basicaly the excuse to make new pre evoloutions,evoloutions,split evoloutions,mega evoloutions,dynamax,a new gimick im calling energization where the certain pokemon meet a certain criteria (the pre evoution has to beat the evoution)(or meet other criteria like being caught with a certain pokeball more acuratly the usual starting ball)and transform into there fullest potential it will be perminat and effect there apearence and be there first type like if its a fire type that has the water type it will energize into a pure fire type,reginal variants, and convergent evoulutions

While your art is cute, I feel the dudunsparce alt evo and the gimmighoul redesign completely misunderstands the core of their designs and, therefore, lacks the reason as to why they exist to begin with.
As a whole Dunsparce’s purpose is to be just a rare nobody, humble, ugly, and silly mon. Giving it a “cool” evolution , even as an optional side evolution, destroys the whole purpose of it being just a silly and obscure goober. It’s not supposed to be an ugly duck into a cool swan, it is always the ugly duck. It’s why dudunsparce is so silly, it amplifies the entire reason the original dunsparce exists.
While gimmighoul would have been a neat mimic Pokemon, the whole point is to emulate a golden statue, a la the Oscar’s statuette. The statue aspect is core to the Pokemon, as a literal celebration of reaching the 1000th mon milestone. Removing the humanoid aspect ruins this whole point. If anything, you could perhaps add more mimic aspects to the humanoid form, maybe it can open its torso as a mouth or better manipulate coins or something, but the point is missed if the humanoid form is scrapped.
Overall neat video though! Thanks for sharing the designs!
