Hi Steph I think the Xenon is a cool toned shadow lover’s palette and it was why it wasn’t popular with most you tubers. Warm palettes are always the most hyped and has become somehow the norm (since when were bright orange and yellow “neutral” anyway). I am extremely cool toned with ashy blonde hair, grey eyes and ultra pale pinky white skin (everything looks like it’s on a white base on me because I’m so pale), so greys look really good on me, but all the different shades look different on me in that palette- I like it a lot despite being an unpopular opinion. It was never going to be a good purchase for someone who loves a warm look however and should not have been expected to be. It will look ashy on a warm skintone because it’s so grey heavy and the nuances will be lost in the shades. I guess I don’t understand the collection mentality when I just buy palettes that really appeal to me from various brands. I know that anything with an orange or yellow undertone will look dreadful on me so I avoid them. This really limits the palette purchasing 😂 eg the random peaches in the I need a nude completely put me off after the terrible warm pinks in the retro glam (I like the greens and the khaki undertones in the neutrals). I haven’t bought any palettes this year 😢, because few items have really appealed to me (I do have my eye on a couple of the cosmic beauty palettes however). All Summer I wore simple eye looks with cream shadows etc, but as we get into Autumn/Fall I know the palettes will start going mental with releases and invariably I will see something I really want 😂. Best wishes x
It’s so hard for me to declutter palettes and I have so many palettes I need to. Love watching these videos, it inspires me to get rid of some things. Also your eye look in this video is gorgeous!
I just need more eyes😂😂 I have so many palettes I've yet to use and I want them all on my eyes now😂😂 I like that you declutter things you don't like or use.
I know you do "No palette left behind," but one palette idea I had for myself is to do only one brand per month or every 2 weeks, or even just one week, depending on how many palettes I have from the same brand. Maybe you could get some content from that? After it's all done you could rank them and let us know which one is your favorite and why.
@@TheMunchkinita2509 lol it’s my maiden name too. It’s a pretty common name where my grandpa is from. I’ve never met someone in person with that last name that wasn’t my family though.
I used to have so much cp palettes before. Now I have only two: trouble maker and lust for dusk. I love trouble maker. And my lfd is in my collection only in case I travel because i don't want to bring my expensive indie shadows.
I am in a palette slump and feeling uninspired... possible video idea is what palettes you reach for, look ideas etc for when you are in a slump x
💓 palette week!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
I am soo sad I missed out on the Glaminatrix Nearly Natural palette! 😭

Whoa what, the lawless palette was last year?! Could've sweared that was like three years ago.
I know .. as I was filming this I seriously felt like some of these were like 3 years ago! ❤️
I really like the Blend Bunny pastel palette, but I think it would have too many mint or mint-adjacent shades for you, maybe? Maybe not.
I’ve definitely had my eye on that one! I do think it is so pretty! ❤️
