7up ≠ sprite
MEXICAN Sprite/Coke are the best!
DUDE. Vlad you missed that PepsiCo just launched “ Starry “. I know it’s gonna sound stupid but it’s like the bubble tastes bigger , or maybe feels bigger, and like a 1990 sprite went flat and then was recarbonated with extra corn syrup.
I don't know if other countries have it, but here in the Philippines, we have this thing called Mountain Dew Ice, It's basically their Sprite, but I like it more because the lime is sharper and more pronounced.
I actually prefer it over Sprite when making cocktails
@@thefiringsquadtfs6392 We had it in the USA not sure if it’s still available.
This man know's his sprite
7up better
Bro he can see the fucking bottles wtf
@@thepatriarchy819 not even
He even got the artificially sweetened one🔥😂
@@TonyHawkOfficial how?
Best sprite alternative- Sprite❤️
Well, mexican Sprite
Esprite
@@kalbex9376 esprait
@@kalbex9376 😂 si le sabes/you know it man
NAH NAH NAH HE SAID MEXICAN SPRITE NOT TODAY BRO AMERICAN SPRITE ASS COMPARE TO MEXICAN SPRITE
Online sales for Mexican Sprite just went through the roof! 😂
Everyone knew this tho, mexican sprite and cola is way better then the American one.
@@Miguel323527 We love our drinks over here at México!
@@Miguel323527maybe because they use real sugar instead the corn syrup like in america
@@mamadzthey do that because Mexico banned high fructose corn syrup to help decrease obesity rates.
@@Miguel323527 glass bottles of soda whether in mexico or america use cane sugar, while cans and plastic bottles use refined white sugar. in general though, sodas in mexico use less sugar to their american counterparts and yes, don’t use high fructose corn syrup, but the taste difference we see is from the type of sugar used
"what is the best sprite alternative?"
- Uses three different types of sprite in a test of 6
Each are different though lol
Yep he knows what sprite is best bartender in the galaxy
@@kill-klemm9892why are you such a bitchy little shit
Lmfao I see you editing your post! You ain’t slick!
Each are different dawg 😭
Can't go wrong with Mexican soft drinks, they slap so hard 😍
Edit: Mexican Coca cola is sold in sugar cane bottles, that's why some bottles appear to be green. (P.S.: never expected this many likes, truly appreciate it :).)
On god bruh my family nearly exclusively buys the mexican sodas because of the real cane sugar
My mom also slaps pretty hard, guess it makes sense. She's Mexican, that damn Mexican coca-cola giving her powers
Yeah, so far, every Mexican soda was 👑
Laughs in living in Australia where we use real sugar cane and not syrup
Most of the world uses cane sugar no? I didn't know if a 'corn syrup' until recently, I always thought cane sugar was the default!
Shasta Soda is so underrated, all the sodas they copy taste almost exactly like the stuff they copy, except it’s about a third of the price
So underrated
I remember being a kid and used to feel embarrassed when my parents would bring home Shasta, now at 26 I hardly care anymore because they taste almost exactly the same
@@spektrum2095 because when your a kid you don’t care about money you care about appearances 😂
I think Shasta is better than regular sprite btw.
@@PurpleMan21 you’re actually based
Vlad’s palate is flawless
Not really 😅
Hahaha love it Mexican sprite is way better! The Mexican coke is also better🤣
I didnt know that we had a different kind of Sprite, so, thats interesting ( ._.)
Mexican sodas use cane sugar while American use mostly processed sugars if I remember , but I know the Mexican ones it's all cane Sugar
@@Dead1yProductions right, I noticed. So does that make Mexican coke is the 'healthier' choice? 🤔🤣
@@Emfinity I'd say yes . Because it's not as processed
Same with European because they actually use sugar
"Mexican sprite"
*HAUGH*
Mexican soft drinks tend to be better than the USA counterparts. The usage of cane sugar instead of corn syrup seems to be more palatable to most people.
@@imatiu I think he was saying because it is like that in most countries and it should rather be called Sprite and American Sprite
@@wilf402 That doesn't make sense. Sprite is US based, and is technically an American drink by default. The version in Mexico should be called Mexican sprite. That's like calling football "Mexican football".
@@legoyoda9782 Pretty sure it was made in Germany but im sure americans are well versed with their soft-drinks
I strongly recommend tasting and mixing with Olipop, it’s a bit more pricy but I’m interested to see what you’d make of the cola and rootbeer. The added chicory root tastes great with rum and whiskey
As someone who has tried every single "healthy" soda alternative for years absolutely nothing was as impressive as Olipop.
It literally has no right to snap that hard. There blend of sugar, fruit juice and natural-sugar alternatives is elite.
I'd pay this guy to narrate my life.
Bro guessed it with no doubt.
Vlad truly is a true bartender.
sprite has a very specific taste compared to other similar sodas like coke and pepsi but yea
One of the bartenders of all time
Haachama
He can see the fucking bottles, wtf
@@TonyHawkOfficialyou don't know how that box works, do you?
I like how half the “alternatives” are spite, you just can’t beat it
In italy, there is a drink called Lemon Soda (it's actually a series of drinks), but they use italian lemons and it's very natural and refreshing, or oranges for oran soda, and it's quite healthy, for a soda.
Limonata?
@@bigbowlowrong4694 sì, però è gassata e anche nelle lattine, giuro che è buona
God Oran Soda is sooo good I honestly like it much more then Fanta
Shoulda tried Starry too! I tried it and I thought it was pretty good.
Did you know it's just Sierra Mist's replacement?
@@Solaceon Yeah, but they taste different. I like Starry better.
It's the replacement, but not the same recipe.
To me Starry and Sprite taste about the same.
my dad was obsessed with Zevia because it was a healthier alternative. Obviously it doesn’t taste as good as real Sprite lol
As a Zevia enjoyer, I can confirm that they don’t taste as good as sodas, but they are a lot healthier, and not artificial, which is why I prefer them.
The Zevia root beers are pretty good, but the rest have that strong artificial after taste.
@@AnEveryManJack tbh I’m not really a fan of root beer in general and I haven’t actually had Zevia since my dad stopped making me drink it instead of real soda, so I’ll just take your word for it
Zevia has stevia has an artificial sweetner wich is actually more dangerous for your body and can trigger diabetes faster then any sugar
@@MC-BOT Really? I was told two things by very different people. My HPE coach told me that all sugars are the same and all are just as bad, and my mom told me that HFCS is much worse than “real cane sugar” and Stevia. She also says that Stevia is Alkaline, which is a 7.0 PH and is an amazing thing for you. She also says “Sugar feeds cancer, but Stevia doesn’t because it’s alkaline.”
my anxiety through out the video 📈
Good to know that if I ever don’t want to put Sprite in my drink I should put Sprite in my drink 😂😂😂
Why use 2 other sprites instead of Sierra Mist or mellow yellow?
I couldn't find sierra mist
You mean starry
You missed the new Starry lemon lime drink. It recently replaced Sierra Mist and is supposed to be Pepsi's main lemon lime soda. Great job guessing tho.
Do you happen to know why Sierra Mist was replaced by the Starry whatever drink? I never cared for it as I'm more of a 7up guy, but seeing Sierra Mist go like that felt like hearing about a friend move away without notice
@@kalbex9376 Because Sierra Must wasn't holding up against Sprite as well as they hoped it would
Ohh that’s why I couldn’t find sierra mist
there is an amazing drink in Denmark called Faxe-Kondi which is a great alternative to sprite
Starry pepsis replacement for Serria Mist is pretty damn good its more limey than the others almost like if you mixed Squirt and Sprite
I like 7up too, honestly, but yeah, sprite has the best less artificial taste
same, but where's sierra mist?
@@3dwildcat822 That was discontinued earlier this month.
@@lawrencein that's why I couldn't find it
@@3dwildcat822 don't really know what that is, I'm from Italy, we don't get that much stuff imported from the US unless you go to specific "American stores" that cost a kidney to buy from
@@VladSlickBartender it's been replaced by "Starry"
Mexican soda is THE BEST
Keep this series going!!
Shasta is also amazing. I always loved the shasta fruit punch and misty mountain.
As a Mexican I can confirm. Mexican sodas really do tase awesome. Even Sprite. I actually really like Sprite from Mexico, but in US most flavors just don't taste quite the same or quite as good, but especially Sprite. For some reason in the US, Sprite tastes like it has BLEACH added in it!
It’s because Mexican soft drinks contain actual cane sugar as opposed to the high fructose corn syrup used in the US. Cane sugar tastes much better but coke and sprite still use corn syrup in the US because it’s cheaper
You didn’t have Sierra Mist! It was always my sprite alternative
With the cranberry flavour too.
I think Sierra Mist doesn’t exist anymore
@@VladSlickBartender it was discontinued just 13 days ago.
@@VladSlickBartender I looked it up, your right! They’re replacing it with a lemon-lime drink called Starry. I’m a little sad, Sierra Mist is so nostalgic for me😢
McDonalds sprite be hitting different
It's probably the employees tears. Or sweat.
That 'eh' for the 7Up hurt me a bit. I've always preferred it over Sprite so it was a slight gut punch.
In Brazil there is "Antarctic soda lemonade".
The 90s formula was really good, you should try it!
No Brasil existe a "soda limonada antarctica".
A fórmula dos anos 90 era muito boa, vc deveria tentar!
Mexacian soft drink
-no high fructose corn syrup
-cane sugar
- properly cooled
-More sugar
-Better💯💯💯
Well the properly cooled is correct. Cane sugar is not though. They stopped using it in 2013. But glass bottles are just way better.
@@furiousredeem1207 I just had a Mexican coke with sugar cane today
@Thomas Mojica let me guess? Your proof that it has sugar cane is your own judgement and the ingredients sticker on the back of it?
@@furiousredeem1207 no?
I can't stand sprite unless it's sprite zero. I'll take 7up over sprite any day
7up all the way 👍
7up yessss
sprite zero? that’s disgusting. pure chemicals. all diet sodas are actually worse for you
I don’t drink soda so I watch these to have an idea of what they taste like
HOW did you not even include Faxe Kondi here?! I haven't even heard of any of these except 7-Up.....
Faxe Kondi is huge.
mexican sprite rules, I find myself liking the zero sugar sprite at times just for mixing purposes, but you can’t beat old school sprite flavor for sure💯
💓💓 PINK LEMONADE 💓💓
Me drinking pink lemonade:
👁️. .👁️.
👅
Always impressed on Vlad's tastebuds
Mans just proved bottled drinks taste better than canned.
Your taste buds are unmatched!!
Ey love seeing Shasta in these! Shasta is so good, and still cheap despite soaring soda prices!
Zevia is a brand my family uses a lot and there is no artificial flavoring, sugar, or other pad soda things. So idk why he said it was artificial 🫡
I strongly recommend 7up Mojito
Sorry for bugging but im 89% sure 7up is older than sprite. That would mean sprite is 7up alternative.
Starry is easily my favorite Sprite alternative
Wait till this man hears about Mcdonald's Sprite...
I miss shasta. Shasta orange was good but lemon lime shasta and an all rush mixed tape on a saturday night at the arcade....heaven!
Funny story about Shasta Twist: at our marching band banquet, we made a massive tower out of Shasta Twist and then knocked it over. We also shook one up, and set it off in the bathroom. It was a fun night.
audio quality is lot better than others
You messed up with the coke one
L&P is the best lemon soft drink.
I don't know if other countries have it, but here in the Philippines, we have this thing called Mountain Dew Ice, It's basically their Sprite, but I like it more because the lime is sharper and more pronounced.
I actually prefer it over Sprite when making cocktails
Zevia is actually all natural, non-gmo, non-high fructose corn syrup one. All the others have artifical flavors, sweetners ( except Mexican Sprite which uses real sugar ).
Zevia actually makes a good cola & Dr. Zevia with caffiene. And uses Stevia leaf 🍃 as sweetner with 0 calories.
Zevia uses a natural sweeter
Try a danish drink called Faxe Kondi, its like Sprite and its very good
Big advocate for a pop Renaissance in the US. A return to sugar pops instead of high fructose corn syrup. The taste difference is palpable.
A lot of us Americans like to buy the Mexican versions of sodas because our versions all use corn syrup.
If you're wondering why they use corn syrup instead of sugar, there's a long history involving a lot of government subsidization that led to it.
Mexican soda use real cane sugar as oppose to most place use corn syrup… so obviously it taste better plus it comes in a glass bottle so the container doesn’t destroy the flavor
Personally I prefer Mexican sprite all the way
the best alternative to sprite is faygo twist but you'll have a hard time finding it outside of michigan. the taste is somewhere between sprite and classic sierra mist.
Can’t top the Mexican sodas🇲🇽🥤
Wow never knew vld looked so good in a croptop
Please review the redbull organics. I love them! Especially redbull cola is on a whole new level
You should also try chilsung cider from south korea! I always drink a ton of it whenever I'm there and it's basically just a tastier sprite with more citrus taste!
RC's citrus bangs too
Honestly i think its just the flavor of anything in glass, way more pure. Imagine canned whiskey, any water in a glass bottle is even better
Mexican sprite only difference is it's got real sugar, while regular sprite is made with high fructose corn syrup.
You should try making cocktails with Starry. It’s Pepsi’s replacement for Sierra Mist and it’s actually fantastic. Huge citrus flavor without tasting too sweet
Sierra mist was my favorite alternative because it had real sugar but it's being replaced
That was basically a clean sweep
I've tried Mexican coca cola before, but I'm sorry, I can't tell the difference from the normal brand.
But Mandarin Jarrito? Easy 10/10
Dude: ill have a sprite please.
*Waiter nervously sweating while looking at the menu with only sierra mist*
Dude: :)
I love Mexican soft drinks. Cane sugar makes a world of difference
If you want another alternative for sprite with a bit of an added herbal flavor there is Dr.Enuf, however it’s only produced in Eastern Tennessee and is isn’t sold very many places
Hahah just posted this and now was going through the comments. Dr. Enuf is so so underrated. If people only knew.
Also you can find it at Cracker Barrel
in a strange way Sprite had always reminded me of good days at work
Finally a video i can relate to
Mexican sodas are so good because they use actual glucose sugar and not cheap fructose sugar (which is also quite bad for you)
Mexican anything is the best!!
You should try every cherry drink alternative
Mexican Sprite and McDonald’s Sprite just hit different than the normal one
Best sprite alternative is Bubble Up. I don't know how regional it is, but if you can get your hands on it, it's fantastic
You should try "Limca".
It has a stronger lime taste and is owned by Coca Cola so probably available in the US as well
I recommend you try the whole Shasta line. Every one of them if a banger. Kiwi Srrawberry is my kryptonite
Lemon lime sparking ice
Bro is CIA in the Sprite division 😂😂
sierra mist though, that fs the best
You nailed this one
Man's got the *sprite
Sierra Mist! I can't find it anymore though, it used to be my favorite lemon lime soda
Faxe Kondi would 100% win this
Limca you need to try this!!
Nice vid.
Shasta twist is pretty good
they forgot the Mcdonald’s sprite
Vlad have you ever tried Jaritos iys a Mexican soda. It's my favorite.
bubble up, green river soda maybe.
I know you can use milk in cocktails
What is best milk alternative
For people who need lactose free
You should try chilsung, korean sprite. Really nice.
Try dukes lemonade soda it is awesome!
