As I’m rewatching the series I feel he is more of a representation of formality or etiquette of Japanese/soul society. He was just following the rules of soul society and his dialogue was always in line with that and he never particularly rubbed more salt in the wounds of his opponents than he needed too. He would just tell them that they’re too weak. The most resentment/pettiness he showed in his fights was not with ichigo renji but with Yoruichi when she escaped him. Such a good story of him hisana and the the contradiction of his two oaths

Koga tsukishima and the clones in the manga he got stronger than ever master the true nature of his shikai and evolve his bankai took as nodt along with 4 other quincys candice and the other 3 protect rukia from as nodt as always fight along with zaraki and toshiro the elite quincy but sadly he didn't have a major role in the novel byakuya is really my favorite character in the whole anime hope we see a lot in tybw and novel arc

It scatters into small pieces of blades so you can't see where the pieces are bc they're so tiny and fast. It catches the light so it looks like flower petals
